Erik had been practicing for about an hour now. He was in the same spot he normally practiced his magic. For the past 8 days he had been practicing his fire manipulation and was actually quite pleased by his progress. Along with that, he had also developed a new level of his Boiling Blood spell. Erik could now easily move, shape, and bend the fire to his will, all from a little spark, to a ball of fire as big as an average adult's head. Harken usually followed Erik around but eventually would dissappear to some places. Erik didn't really ask where though, because he knew he wouldn't get a straight answer. So, he would generally just stick his nose in a book, or spend most of the day at the training grounds. Either one didn't matter. I should go to my dorm to see what I may want to add to it. Its pretty empty at the moment. I also may need a few notebooks and whatnot. It doesn't hurt to have a few miscellanious things handy.Erik let the fireball he created rise up a few feet and explode. Then, he began to walk down the path leading back to the acadamy. OOC: Yes, it is short, but I have to get my Post count up somehow...

"...Wait..."
Xeryth's small, shy voice broke out, as loud as he could muster it without suddenly feeling imposing, rude, or simply not like himself. Hoping the boy would turn around, Xeryth continued to stride forward, reaching a standard speaking distance from him. He studied this new student for a moment, taking in the red attire and overall, rather outlandish look. He was truly clad in fatigues most fitting for a Fire Mage, indeed. Finally, Xeryth formed the words in his mind, and tried to speak out to the boy again. It was... awkward, to say the least, for Xeryth was not one to make new friends, or even speak to people that did not speak to him first. His natural shyness, coupled with his years in seclusion, led to develop a rather solitary nature within the boy that he was only just beginning to break out of.
"You... you have control of fire... some would say... Pyrokinesis? I... I am capable of such... skills as well... though perhaps in a different... different style. What... what I'm trying to say is..." Xeryth gulped, the major hook of his little speech was coming in soon and he hoped the other student wouldn't turn him down. "Is there... is there any way you could... train with me? Help me to utilize... the fire... myself?"
