(OOC: Well, since my last spar thread turned to hell, I think it's worth it to give this another attempt. ^^)
He pat the silver elk gently, his head resting on the animal's side. The newly-named Saisho seemed to share Onira's attitude at the moment, both the two's eyes open only slightly. Boredom had struck the duo, the elk full of whatever it found to eat in the forest-like ground, and not too sure what to do besides relax. Ultimately, ti was the same with Onira, except for the full part. He had eaten about two hours ago, so he wasn't hungry, but still not quite full. He was sort of in the grey area, for the time.
He brought his hand back from the elk's neck, laying it down on his chest. He looked at the entrance for a moment, so far not seeing anyone entering the facilities. It was becoming more and more difficult to not just make a gun and wave it around in the halls, threatening someone to fight with the option of death. Yes. He was bored enough to kill.
"Got any ideas, Saisho?"
Onira rotated his head lazily to look at the animal, getting only a quick and obviously uninterested grunt in return. He sighed.
"Figures."
He looked back to the entrance, still seeing no one. He knew if he was looking away he'd hear the person who entered, because the pair were just resting under a large tree, just off to the right and about ten feet from the entrance. Onira's stretched-out feet were facing it, making it pretty much what one saw when he was just gazing infront of himself. But, Onira found the distant sky a much more eventive picture. Small clouds slowly moving in to the air-bound ocean. Coming and going. Oh yes, very fun.
He sat up slowly, taking is folded-up white cloak from behind himself and shaking ang punching it for a moment, making it at least a little more comfortable. He placed the pile beneath his head again and sat back, the feeling of boredom still not leaving him. He really needed something to do.
"God this is annoying, Saisho."

(ooc: back from the dead! Yay! For a limited time only ^^ Darah was hungry. Gekko was hungry. Both wanted food as they headed towards the training grounds of Arcane Academy. Darah's plan was to beat the pulp out of someone then perhaps rip some money off him or her to get herself and her kid some food. The girl, all covered in her brown cloak which touched the ground and a hood which covered most of her face, reached the training areas and walked around the compound, looking for some fresh meat. Gekko was in lizard form and perched on her shoulder. Coming around a tree, Darah spotted fresh game. At first, she couldn't believe her eyes. An elk, nicely grown was grazing right in front of her. Food! Immediately, Darah bound for the deer creature and slashed at it with her claws. Bringing down such an animal would supply her and Gekko with meat for more than a week... as long as Gekko remained in lizard form.

A sound interupted Onira's boredom. An almost gentle tapping. It was quiet at first. Almost peaceful. However, the volume and severity was increasing rapidly, the sound registering in one's vacant mind only just in time. His eyes rotated to see the cloaked figure that was so close, the stranger seeming to go after the elk, not Onira. Strange. But, it was not the time to think about.
Saisho's fur almost instantly became harder than steel, for the first time the Metal Hair Attack being used (by Onira) on another target. But it seemed to do the trick. Immediately after the attack Saisho's hair returned to it's normal hardness, the elk righting itself in the blink of an eye, as did Onira. Well, almost. He kept himself on one knee with a palm to the ground, a sudden diagonal pillar sending itself towards the gut of the attacker. Or at least, Onira figured it was the gut. The claws said this attacker wasn't human.
Duh!
Onira gave Saisho a quick smack on the side, the elk suddenly bolting deeper into the grounds. Onira was confident that the creature could outrun this stranger, but the attack was still not disregarded. One had to be suspicious of someone attacking an elk. What reason could someone have? Then again, in Arcane Academy, it was becoming increasingly more obvious that "Reason" was not such an issue.
"What do you want with that creature?"
If truth were told, Onira was in some small way happy that he had found this person. He didn't like that one of his recent acquaintances had just been attacked, but this event did help with his problem of boredom. It was a bit of a dramatic way to help, however.
-Edit- OOC: Glad to see it!

What on earth?! The elk's fur suddenly sharp and metallic...
In Darah's mind: Elk+freaky fur that become spikes = no food... Crud...
Darah was halfway in the air when she noticed the change on the elk's fur. As she was already powered by momentum in the air and could not just flip backwards without some sort of leverage, she continued to let momentum carry her forward, tucked her upper body in and somersaulted in the air over the deer creature.
And no sooner had Darah landed did some sort of extension of the ground rush up at her. The earth hit her rather firmly on her stomach and she was lifted up into the air. Landing on her feet some distance away, she was then roughly questioned by some rude person, asking her what had she wanted to do with that elk.
"What are you?" Darah asked in her silky voice but now full of anger. Because of her low hood, her face could not be seen save her thin purple lips. "Some sort of druid? That elk was fair game. It was food. What does it matter to you?!"
He really must be some sort of druid. That would explain the attack from the earth. Darah reasoned, not thinking about the probability that this person could be an alchemist, even though she had learned a little about alchemy.
He attacked me! For no reason!
Infuriated, Darah planned to teach this person a lesson. First she weaved hex+ about that lizard on her shoulder which jumped onto the ground and seemed to grow, grow, and not stop growing until it stood at the height of a human. From its head sprouted three horns and from its torso grew a pair of extra legs. The tail of the creature was covered in spikes.
"Gekko, wait over there while I finish this protector of fair game." Darah told her kid who obeyed without question. Darah then rushed forward at this "druid" and planned to swipe at him with her claws from her right hand. She knew that druids were all magic, not enough hand to hand combat.

Onira looked onward as the stranger replied his question with another question. At least a bit of explanation was told within her apparent fury at Onira's reaction. She wanted to eat Saisho? It was obvious that this stranger was in-fact not human. There were only a select few who looked at a silver elk and thought "Mmm... lunch!". Looked like what they said were true. Everyone was different. Some were just strange.
"You wanted to eat poor Saisho? WHat the hell is wrong with you?"
Onira couldn't help his sudden outburst. What she said was just too creepy. Who the hell hunted for game in a school? Then again, who had some kind of lizard on thir shoulder than transformed into some kind of giant, spiky gekko creature? Boredom seemed like not such a big deal any more.
He watched her with those sharp violet orbs, seeing the rest of what she did. It seemed there was more to the giant creature next to her than met the eye. She actually commanded it to do something. And it seemed to obey! What had he gotten himself into? Onira's recap registered cloaked person with purple lips trying to attack an elk, all the while having an apparently much larger gekko on her shoulder.
"..."
As the stranger charged forward, Onira plucked a hair from his head, righting himself to standing position. The hair instantly became harder than steel, and would make a fairly good (and somewhat hard to see) weapon. The gekko lady had called him a druid, doubting his physical abilities. That was never a good move. Onira knew his stuff, both when using alchemy and in the hand to hand. But damn! She was fast!
He widened himself, metallic strand in hand, and head in the fight. From what he got so far, the attacker was not ery good on the finesse scale. It was fairly obvious that she would use her claws, unless of course she happened to posess a weapon that was hidden within her cloak. However, for now he had to go on what he'd seen.
As Darah went for the slash towards Onira, he lowered his body slightly to move forward as well as under the arm, attempting for a quick horizontal slash with the strand against her stomach, not stopping to let anything drawn out happen. As soon as he went for the attack, he rolled forward with his momentum and turned around while on one knee, ready to witness the damae that had may or may not have been caused. He was hoping against the latter.

He had hurt her. Barely, but that druid had hurt Darah all the same. Although only a light cut which slashed through Darah's cloak and across Darah's skin, it did draw some smoe trickle of blood... Dark green blood.
It was about then that a change began to form about Darah. Adrenaline had been pumping in her blood and now hex+ was taking effect upon her. She grew, from a little more than five feet to a tall six feet. Her cloak, unable to now cover her feet, revealed talons, all covered in scales and ending with claws like a raptor's, instead of feet. Horns, about five inches in length, pushed her hood back to reveal a face which seemed to be a mix of human and lizard. It had all the human features, eyes, nose and all at their proper places. The only thing which differed from the regular human was that her face was covered in scales and her eyes were jet black.
From the poison glands in Darah's mouth, Darah shot a small amount of pain poison, about the size of a paintball pellet at the druid. She was going to take her time with the person who denied her a meal.

"Woah..."
That seemed like a fairly good way to put it. As one could tell from recent, Onira had his suspicions. Mostly the claws were what set him off, but now, he was really fighting a beast. It didn't seem much if any taller than him, but the intimidation factor didn't come from that. It was the whole talons/claws/all black eyes thing that creeped him out. If she wasn't green, she might be pretty. Then again, if a racoon didn't try and tear your throat out it would be cute.
He stood up, seeing that the stranger wasn't attempting to claw at him. Of course, he wasn't hit by claws. He saw merely a blur in-front of him, then felt a great surge of pain run through him. What the hell had lizard girl done?
"Son of a bitch!"
He didn't fall or anything of the sort, but damn! That hurt! His chest felt like it was on fire, and one could only hope some other effect wasn't paired with this sudden feeling of intense pain. It seemed lizard girl had more than just sharp claws. She had some dangerous spit. This was just getting wierder and wierder.
Onira's attention was turned now, away from the pain and back to the opponent. An idea was already formed, and it had become obvious hand to hand wouldn't work in this situation. That spit was just... ow!
Swiftly he threw the strand of metal at the lizard girl, using it to occupy her for a minute. As it sped toward her, Onira fell back to one knee, hands against the ground. The pillar that had just been used to smack the stranger in the gut would instantly form a small hole, a bang! sounding while a stone bullet sped toward Darah's back. If it pierced, then it would only really get her right lung (provided all the body parts were where they were in a human), but that would be enough to give her a nasty sting in her shoulder-blade area.

Against a druid, Darah would be facing a serious problem. Druids are one with the land and use mother nature's very own power to do their bidding. Darah couldn't fly, so she was very open to the druids ground attacks. She kept herself at the ready.
The poison spit had hit the druid squarely and the druid seemed very angry about it. Cursing, the druid pulled his arm back and released it forward at Darah, as if throwing something. In the light, Darah saw it glint and batted the needle-like object with the back of her hand. The druid by then had his hands on the ground and in the next instant, Darah heard a loud gunshot. Out of reflexes and her fear of firearms, Darah jumped away from the sound but not fast enough to dodge the bullet. A searing pain came from back. Thankfully, the scales on her body and her right scapula bone had prevented extensive damage. Darah growled in pain as she reached behind her to pull the bullet out.
Not wasting time after that, Darah made haste and sped towards the druid, loping on all fours with a wolfish gait. Coming into attack distance, she sprang up and once more made her right claw slash at across the druid's left cheek.

Onira's eyes kept on lizard girl as she had once again lept to attack. Even he had to admit it. She was faster than him. He didn't like that fact, but it was true. However, multiple times now she had made the mistake. She had jumped. That wouldn't greatly decrease her speed, but as she reached the height of the jump's arc, her speed would suffer, giving Onira the chance.
The Earth moved one again, this time coming fromaround Onira and not from the pillar. A large amount of stone spikes suddenly shot out from around him, both encasing him in a protective shell, as well as all going for the right shoulder/chest of the attacker. One was fairly confident in a hit, given the fact that lizard girl was in the air. However, Onira's attack was not complete.
Inside the end of one of the spikes, the regular rock was converted to gun powder, creating a fairly good explosion. Whether or not Darah happened to be hit by the spikes, if she was close to Onira's protective barrier, she'd take a nasty bit of rock shrapnel. If she was still impaled, then one could only hope her arm wasn't blown off.
As soon as the gun powder bomb went off, the spikes flipped outward against the ground, letting Onira into the open area once again. He would pluck a hair from his head and solidify it with the metal hair attack, doing a quick spot check to see where his enemy just happened to be.

(ooc: Actually, Darah didn't jump into the air ^^; She was on the ground with all fours that's why she had to jump/lunge/pounce to reach your face. Anyways, I'll let you off this time...) From above(wonder how she got there ), Darah watched a barrier of earth form around the druid and spikes protruding from the shield. With her hightened reflexes, Darah immediately reacted towards this wall by launching two globs of poison in rapid succession. Each glob was the size of a football. The first glob was acid: disintegrating the soil as well as triggering the gunpowder, which then blew up a good hole in the druid's shield. Now, unprotected from attacks from the top, the druid was open to that second glob of poison: paralysis. The time interval between the gunpowder explosion and the paralysis poison coming through the disintegrated hole was approximately how fast a person could tap his fingertip twice on a table. Now Gekko, who had been watching the whole time, was worried for his mother's safety. Falling from the air towards the spikes, Darah called for her kid whom in three lightning fast bounds, caught her gently by her lithe waist and carried her safely some distance from the druid before putting her down so that she may resume combat.

(OOC: *Smacks forehead* Sorry. Wasn't thinking.)
Shit!
Yeah, that about said it. It seemed that the lizard girl had more spit. And big globs, too. One was surprised to see the rock that had protected him suddenly dissapear, revealing yet another glob smacking against his chest and back. A part of it also reached his legs, making one quie annoyed with the turn of events. Under more peaceful circumstances, one had to wonder how the lizard girl hadn't been hit by any shrapnel, but that would eventually be blown off as less that presumed.
"Well, this feels... vulnerable."
It was odd to be so relaxed in a possibly fatal time. It could be that the two had already gone after Saisho, but hell, he had probably high-tailed (no pun intended) it out of there. Through the other entrance/exit, one presumed. But, one had to admit. That wasn't quite top priority anymore. It would be soon, however.
Onira's hands were against the floor, himself now laying on his butt. It wasn't an enjoyable position, but it didn't matter. Noticing fairly quickly that he still had arm movement in his left hand, Onira cast a thin stone gauntlet around that hand through more alchemy. With it, he ripped of his shirt, making sure that none of the goop remained. When that was completed, he let the gauntlet fall off, placng his left hand upon his chest.
"AGGH!"
He scremed in pain as the transmutation moved into effect. He had seemingly effectively regenerated the poison fairly quickly into a harmless liquid, taking apart all of the bad parts and turning the basic components into a destroyable substance by his body. However, the pain of everything becoming operational was... intense.
He stood up, walking out of his former cocoon easily. He had no shirt on, revealing his toned and muscular upper body. However, his shirt didn't matter right now. All that did were the attackers.
Onira bit into his right then left arm, the blood sleeping out slowly. Quickly they wrapped around his forearms, hardening to form the double version of the Blood Gauntlet spell. Onira called out, a ring of confidence easily present in his voice.
"Would you like to attack again?"

As the earth barrier around the druid crumbled, Darah was surprised to see the druid still standing. The druid being shirtless gave her a conclusion that the paralizing poisons must have hit his shirt and therefore, the druid removed it so save himself from being paralyzed.
Strange enough, the druid still wanted Darah to take the offensive. Fine, Darah would grant him that wish.
From deep in her mouth, Darah's poison glands ejected confusion poisons at the druid. For maximum effect, she sprayed it out of her mouth so that the small particles covered a larger area. One whiff of this would probably make the druid hurl or even lose consciousness due to the awful stench.

Onira stared at the figure with those sharp orbs, already preparing for the counter attack. He could not in-fact read minds, but even he could catch on eventually. Don't let the spit touch or get near you. Given that the two had a good distance between them, it wouldn't be too hard to block, either.
The blood gauntlet on his right arm changed it's appearance to more look like a large red fan sprouting from his arm. He swiftly brought it back, arcing it around his body with as much strength and speed as he could summon into it. It seemed he was lucky. The spray, although uneected, still had the same result as it would for a gob. The force of the large fan blew it all off course, letting the stench reverberate back towards the lizard girl. Although he didn't get it offen, something abotu his intuition said the attack wouldn't have the same effect on her as it might have had on him. Fair enough.
The fan folded inward, creating a small sword off of Onira's forearm. It would do. He specifically knew that with blood he couldn't convert into a gun. The chemical structures were just too different. But, he also knew close-quarters battles were off. Given his situation, he couldn't very well expose himself and drop to the ground again. That just didn't seem to work out for very long periods of time. It seemed that for now, he was stuck on what to do. Crap.

Very skilled in magic was Darah's opponent. To beat back her poisons, He had changed that huge gauntlet of his hand into a fan to blow the poisons back. Not that the poisons bothered Darah in any way. Next the druid had changed the giant fan into a sword. Enough playing on Darah's part. It was time for her to take things up a notch.
In battles against mages, Darah only had about enough energy to cast two complicated shamanistic spells. However, those two spells were always more than enough to win the fight. First, Darah would use the weaker of the two spells: memory wipe, which would make the opponent forget about every single spell he knows. Mages would be rendered to nearly useless unless they had a magic tome for them to refer spells from.
Darah casted memory wipe on the druid and immediately closed the distance. Even as she ran towards him, Darah was already spraying paralyzing poisons at him. With no fan and no spells, Darah would like to see how he evaded the attack this time. When she was close enough, Darah threw her cloak right in front of the druid, leaving her dressed in a mint halter top and a pair of hip-huggers. The cloak was to temporarily block the druid's vision. Immediately following the cloak were two globs of poison shot in rapid succession. The first one: acid to burn though the cloak, the second: more paralyzing poison.

Onira's memory was wiped clean of transmutation. But, it wouldn't really matter. He still had his physical ability, and that was what would count. He still knew what Darah did. He knew what she was likely to do, and although had little chance of avoiding it without alchemy, he could weaken the blow.
Darah spat out, already beginning to close the distance as she spat. No matter. Onira also took off, keeping his body low as he ran foreward and himself leaning foreward. He also put up his two gauntlets which also lessened him from the spray. Most of it caught against the gauntlets, but the small bit that didn't had gotten only Onira's rib area, his legs not hit because he had used his upper body to shield himself. It seemed what Darah had done was merely take away feeling in Onira's ribs. One could only hope that worked out for the better later on.
As the two headed toward each other, Darah would be forced to stop her spit as even a lizard girl could only produce so much saliva. As well, she'd need to switch to acid for the attack (I presume). In this moment, Onira would do what he could to accelerate himself to max, instantly dropping his body in-front of Darah (presuming she isn't still on all fours). He would try and dive for her legs, using the gauntlets above him to hit her mid-section. He was confident that the attack was strange, unexpected, and precise anough to at least give her a nice blunt smack to the gut. If it did what it was supposed to, however, She would get a good-sized open gash in her stomach. Hopefully.
