As the powerful rain fell on the training grounds not many students wished to get wet so everyone stayed inside. Well almost everyone… A lone figure walked towards the training area outside. AS it walked under the trees where it was protected by the leaves a wind blew past and his long dark cloak moved in the unison with it. Its dark medium length hair moved also as it approached the territory where fights could be held. As the end of the trees and the end of the dry area came to an end the figure stopped. Its dark eyes analyzing what was in front of him. So much space and yet no one to use it… ‘What a shame.’ He thought as his face remained unchanging as one of his gloved hands held a simple cane. He came here to look for an opponent so he could test his skills against others. And yet there was no one here. This irritated him a bit but shaking it off the man known as Gabriel decided to check closer maybe there will be someone else here.
So taking the cane into his left palm Gabriel began to walk. With the first step he tapped the cane to the ground and then moved it upwards holding it like the umbrella. It would seem stupid at first but a second later the cane opened up and one could swear that it was the umbrella all the time. But after all this was Arcane Academy and with a help of a little alchemy one can do very convenient things. Step after step Gabriel walked slowly towards the middle of the ground his black shoes hitting the soft, wet earth. And yet as he came into the middle of the grounds there was no one around. Rain falling on the umbrella Gabriel stood there for a second thinking about what he should do next. His right hand subconsciously moved to his face and slowly brushed off the spikes of hair that fell on his face.
As the rain continuously fell from the clouded sky a soft sound reached his ears. Although most of the noises were drowned by the all consuming rain Gabriel heard a soft sound of approaching footsteps. ‘Ah it seems fate is generous to me today…’ He thought as his right hand moved away from his face and fell to his side. His back turned to the sound of the footsteps Gabriel spoke with his soft and silent voice.
“How may I be of service?” He said as his dark eyes looked to his side not seeing who approached but knowing that someone was there. Subconsciously he focused a small drop of mana if he was attacked into his right hand. It was too small for anyone to notice or fell but it made spell-casting faster because you already had a bit of mana in your hand. So looking completely relaxed Gabriel waited for a reply, in whatever form it may come.
