(OOC: Yes, I'm going to try this again. Maybe this one will actually go somewhere.)
Swift and hard footsteps could be heard coming from the training grounds. They were fast, but not to an overly degree. If one in-fact listened, they would actually hear two sets of footsteps. One seemed softer and not quite as loud. The other was a rough clacking noise. Those who took the time to look would be quick to see why.
"Hurry Saisho!"
Onira continued running around the rim of the rocky grounds, neck and neck with the silver elk. The pair had grown together over the last couple weeks, and now were like brothers. Well, on an emotional scale. That would have been a very painful birth, otherwise.
The two clopped towards the finish line, Saisho ahead now by only a foot. Onira smiled for a moment, enjoying this little competition they had going. In the back of his mind, he knew Saisho would win. He had the advantage hands down. But, it seemed like the elk was giving Onira at least a bit of a chance. How kind.
A mischievous twinkle hit Onira's eye, the teen placing his left hand on the side of the creature next to him. Saisho instantly found himself much heavier, due to the recently-gained metal hair attack. It turned the selective strand(s) into the metal one chose from his own specific mind, creating an almost unbreakable weapon. For now, though, it was to slow down Saisho.
"See ya later dude!"
Onira turned around and gave Saisho a childish grin, twisting his body to face the finish line once again. He leaped up off of one foot, jumping over the long stick that signaled the finish. He brough both knees to his chest and pushed outward, skidding along on his heels before coming to a squatting stop. He stood back up, then turned around, running back over to Saisho.
"Sorry bud. It's all I got to handle with your speed advantage."
The elk gave an unconvinced grunt, Onira smiling at this. He placed his palm back onto Saisho, the hair quickly returning to it's regular soft but still silver norm. The elk quickly stood up, it being forced onto the ground by it's own previous weight.
With a held-back but still rough nudge, Onira was forced into a headbutt competition by Saisho. The two stood there, foreheads to each-other's, Onira trying to push inward. But, the elk knew his stuff, the two seeming to be fairly evenly matched.
"You know you won't win you son of a moose!"
The elk gave a grunt, this one seeming not as forgiving as the last, Onira smiled, btu that would be his downfall. Quickly Saisho pushed him back, the student falling to his butt and looking up at the victor. He laughed for a moment.
"Guess we're even!"

((Stats for this fight: Str 15, Dex 30, End 18, Int 20, Sensory 16, Enr 11 Zeke will be the only present construct/mage under my control.))
Zeke, the lion plushie construct, had watched the entire display from about when the human made the elk's hair metallic. Interesting display of ability, really, but it did severly limit the speed of the elk. Obviously meant to slow it down in their little "race". None the less, the elk seemed to have beat out it's human companion. Zeke's creator knew full well that humans were all to weak, which was why his body was lifeless.
And now, Zeke was out doing the work Ezra was supposed to be doing. Taking notes, attending classes, even doing homework and training. Ever since they had come back, Zeke had changed. He was diligent, focused, and lacked the happy playfulness that once defined the plushie. And part of that diligence required Zeke to approach the human.
Holding out a paw, the construct looked down at the guy. It seemed that the guy had taken one too many to the noggin, and voluntarily at that. Being as how it was Zeke, there was no voice to accompany the offer of help, but it was sure even the guy would get the idea. Getting him to fight would be a harder matter.

Onira looked up at the strange creature for a moment. For once, the silver elk beside him wasn't frightened. It seemed whatever this thing was, it wasn't overall threatening. Fair enough.
He eyed the creature as he placed his hands around Saisho's horns, the creature pulling back and li9fting him to his feet. Onira was normally fairly trusting, as he was now, but he wasn't too sure how exactly he would get up side ways. In the end, it was better to just get up the normal way.
The student gae the elk a quick pat, still staring at this new lion thing. One had to wonder what it was exactly that made it, conceived it, or just happened to come by it. It looked like a lion doll or something. It was a little cartoonish, and had fairly big paws. Somewhat freakishly large. But, Onira dismissed it.
His mind quickly left the... thing, to begin thinking about something to do. His game with Saisho was completed, and no idea floated above the rest inside his mind. Truth be told, he felt like some more competition. Maybe a fight. That was physical. And fun.
He looked back down to the creature, shruggin inside his mind with his newly arrived idea.
"Don't suppose I could fight with you."

Taking back that earlier thought, Zeke seemed taken aback by the human's request for a fight. What it thought was hard was now undeniably easy. And because it needed to get strong for both it's self and Ezra, it quickly nodded it's consent. it didn't seem excited or anything, it just bounded over to it's position and got into it's stance. It's legs were wide, and it's scrawny arms were left just above the legs, the claws exended fully from the oversized paws. The back hunched over, while the yellow eyes gazed silently at the two, wondering which would make the first move.
Zeke had a few surprises to throw the pair. It was more than used to team fighting tactics, and knew exactly how to keep an advantage while being outnumbered. Zeke's arm swept forward, and then back towards it's chest twice, motioning for the pair to begin the fight. Sure, it would be hard without the team tactics Zeke used to execute with Ezra, but it could manage.

Onira cocked an eyebrow at this disproportioned foe. He almost laughed at it's slight taunt to the student and apparently Saisho. Although such a thing did not escape him, he did give a smile. He turned around and spoke to the silver elk.
"Sorry bud, no fighting for you."
He could tell somewhere in his mind that the creature was quite relieved. Saisho was overall a very peaceful elk, who seemed to not only detest fighting, he was downright scared of it. If he could talk, such a protestor he would be.
A swift but not overly harsh smack was given to Saisho's back, the elk taking the cue and bolting towards and out of the exit. With that done, Onira crouched lower to the ground, plucking one hair from his head and solidifying it with the same skill he had used on Saisho to win the race. Metal Hair Attack.
"Alright. I guess I'll start."
Obviously lacking any form of finesse, Onira charged over, remaining low to the ground. He sent the thin yet very hard (and almost invisible) weapon in a regular vertical strike towards the plushie-creature's back. He was very aware that it would probably not strike, but it was good to start. Might help him see if this lion thing could use spells. One would see.

Only one for the fight? Oh well. Zeke was inherently stronger than any human, or living creature for that matter. Ezra had built him all too well, and in their situation, Zeke was stronger than ever. In a way, Zeke felt sorry for the guy, there wasn't any real advantage that he could exert over the plushie toy now.
The human's battle strategy seemed pretty straightforward now. He plucked a hair from his head, so he was sure to use his technique on it. A single hair with the tensile strength of metal was weak, but with magic, even a strand of hair was a powerful tool.
The human made a rather spirited charge, coming in at the backside. But it seemed that Zeke was physically superior in all aspects. The light plushie body lept into the air, as if it were doing a back handspring, using the human's head as the platform for the handspring. Upon landing to the rear of the human, Zeke executed two more rear handsprings to gain some distance. It was going to wait for one more move before actually attacking.

Onira watched with a dopey look on his face. He was surprised, mostly, but handsprings kinda set him back. He wasn't expecting such an acrobatic foe. But no matter. He would merely turn around, watching the plushie finish his series of handsprings. It was fast. One could tell that fairly easily. However, the fact that he used handsprings also made someone think. This creature was more intelligent than it let on. Or more energetic.
He smirked at the lion, lowering himself once again. He wanted to be at about the same level as what he was facing, so as to keep from possible blind spots. This way, what was his blind spot, was the opponent's. Or so he figured. It was all more logic than actual science.
He charged once again, making sure to get maybe a meter and a half in-front before hurling his weapon at the plushie's eye. It was worth a shot, after all. Maybe this thing, whatever it happened to be, had the same tendencies as regular creatures. Being poked in the eye hurt. Good science.

Not being able to see where the needle was aimed for was a serious disadvantage to dodging it. By dodging the wrong way, the needle impaled right into the dead center of the constructs face, right between the eyes. The head tilted back, as if hit by a great force. But when the head came back to it's normal position, the construct looked unharmed. The hair, for all of it's invisibility, was halfway sticking in Zeke's face, having gone through the toy's fabric and into the fluff.
Zeke dug it's claws into the dirt, tearing up some chunks to hurl at the human. It was meant to hit, but that wasn't the full objective. Using those as the cover for it's advance, Zeke ran on all fours towards him. Without regard for it's own safety, it would ram it's head full-on into the human's gut. The needle in it's forehead wasn't involved in the contact point, since Zeke was using the upper head. Though the construct was all fluff and fabric, the magic that enchanted it was, like the hair, making it stronger than it should be.

Onira watched the creature. Apparently, it wasn't too happy about getting stabbed. But, that was unimportant. The fact that it now wanted to kill, or at least hurt him, was the important bit. One had jsut the plan for that.
He had to admit it. Surprise struck him when no blood came out of the apparent wound. However, that did make him feel at least a little more humane. If the thing didn't ahve blood, then chances were it didn't have organs. If it didn't have organs, it could be stabbed without death. Always a good thing to know.
Almsot right after the metal hair went in, Onira dropped to the ground, him and the plushie now apparently stuck in a battle of strength. Unlike with Saisho, Onira wasn't smiling. Their strengths were equal, but the plushie would ultimately win. It had better footing, and was more used to such a situation.
The student was forced backwards, himself standing up and then fallign to his bottom. However, with a palm to the ground, he quickly performed alchemy to shoot a large spike through the chest of the plushie. It wasn't too wide, but was abotu seven feet tall, making it fairly hard for even the plushie to climb and escape off of.
"Nasty bugger!"

The spike caught Zeke in the chest, but off-center, causing the plushe to fall to the side of the pillar-like stabbing instrument. But as easily as it was knocked down, it got back up, a tear in the fabric showing only fluff underneath. Zeke looked down at it, like it was more of a shame than a concern. For a construct, it was more of an annoyance than anything. Just a few stitches and it'd be like new.
But Zeke didn't need stitches. His paw glanced over the open wound and hovered for a mere second before going back to it's side. The wound was no longer there, as if nothing had happened. Zeke's paw brushed over the formerly injured spot a few times, as if brushing off the injury. In a way, the little construct was getting cocky, playing the part of the unstoppable juggernaut.
And much like any juggernaut would, Zeke began the charge once again, as if it were aiming for another headbutt. But this time it was a full tackle, aimed at pinning the human to the ground with the three pointed claws of one paw aimed at the human's neck.
