Jyo stood in the middle of one of the areas in the train grounds. His eyes closed and his coat throw off to the side. The large sword normally on is back was stuck in the ground in front of him. Jyo's lithe arms hung loosly at his sides as he breathed deeply. Then his eyes opened flaring. They were not the normal green. but a bright red.
"Been a long time since I've done something like this. Feels good." He said to himself with a slight smile. Two orbs of flame appeared in his hands and he threw them upwards and they exploded. He then pointed his fingers to the ground and his sides and spun around shooting out firestreams lighting a circle of flame around him. "Perhapes something new." Me said softly and raised his hands with the palms up. On either side of him two pillars of fire erupted from the ground.
The area around Jyo was fiercly hot. But the young fire mage didn't even seem effected as he held out his hands creating yet another new spell. A fire shield. A true smile crawled onto his face as he pointed his fingers skywards and bolts of lightning erupted from his fingers. He held this for a few minutes then the lightning and fire subsided. though the entire area he was in was scorched. His coat however seemed unaffected.
Jyo hefted his sword up and sheathed it on his back and walked to retrive his coat breathing slightly heavy. "Whew. It's been a while since I've made any new spells." He said.

It had been a while since Nils had seen such a show with fire and even longer since he made any new spells himself. Therefore he had been sitting and watching the other pyromancer creating his new spells with a happy smile on his face. When the pyromancer was done he began to applauce.
"Bravo! Nice! Really wonderfull, really!"
Then he realised that he probably wasn't supposed to have been watching it and quickly got to his feet and introduced himself:
"I'm Nils. I'm a pyromancer to, isn't it a wonderfull element? I just can't get enough of it."
And extended a hand to Jyo.

OOC: Sorry about the long time it took to respond.
Jyo looked over seeing a boy walk up to him congradulating him on the shaow. he smiled. Obviously the guy hadn't seen some of the things Jyo had. He knew he was powerful. But jyo also head met others that put him to shame. "Well I thank you for the compliments. True fire is a great element. My specialty in fact. But I'm no pyromncer. I tend to be a bit more varied." he said accepting the hand for a freindly shake then he put his coat back on.
"My Name is Jyo. A longetime student here at the Academy. It's good to meet you Nils." He said

"No, the pleasure is all mine, I don't get to see others skills like that very often. But I guess it makes it funnier once you see them."
He released Jyos hand. The touch was cooler than he'd thought of a pyromancer, but then again he'd just said that it was only a speciality. That made it fully understandable.
"But you aren't a pyromancer? I got a suprise there, I thought for sure that you'd be one with moves like those. What kind of magician are you then? Elementarist?"

"I am an elemental spellcaster primarly. I have Fire as you have seen. I aslo control some wind abilities a few in the element of creatin and destruction as well. And I also have a slight graspon time magic and I can also sheild against some mental attacks due to a class I took. Then I also have a few skills witha swordof about any type." he said with a shrug. Jyo knew he was a highly versital person as to what he could do and while he didn't thinks other below him he also knew his abilities set him apart from many of the other students.

Nils whistled. That really was a great amount of skills. But as everybody that did much it had a weakness:
"That's quite impressive, you seem versatile enough to handle just about any situation, a one man team eh? It's just that I dont think that you can gain real power until you've specialised a bit more than that. You're strong but there's a limit to how strong you may ever become, in other words. I however may continue upwards since I only study anatomy and pyromancy. And of course some languages."
Nils said since he didn't feel like being left behind in anything. And he also liked to talk about his skills, but everybody has their bad habits after all. So he didn't care.
"But swords? Are they any fun to use? I mainly use my dagger as a last solution."
He pulled out his dagger and showed it to Jyo.
"It doesn't do much damage but as I see it injured enemies usually moves slower than you so they get easier to run away from and take out from a safe distance, rather than remaining in close combat with them. But that's just me I guess."

Jyo chuckled. Nils obviously had no idea as to the extent of jyo's powers. "Actually none of my powers are really weak in any way. thats my key strength. Is that I focus on all of them. But if you must know. My true specialty is in my creation and destruction magic. An example. Watch that rock." Jyo said pointing out a large rock. He raised his left hand and his palm was facing the rock. Soon a rippile could be seen in the air and it reached the rock shattering it into powder. "One of my weaker destruction spell. I could show you 'Light Of The Heavens' But thats taxing on my mana reserves." He said.
"As for swords. they are fun to an extent. But I see it as more of an art form. But there's always the fact that a sword is an instrument of death. So fun isn't exactly the word I'd use for swords." He said hefting his large Zwiehander in his left hand. "I'm skilled in a variety of sword skills. Longswords, rapiers, shortswords, Katanas, and Zwiehanders. I can use them all. I've tried daggers but they aren't my style." He said.

"I see your point. Having no weaknesses in magic style is great, and creation and destruction got me really curious there. I mean, destruction is what you could call my style to, but not to that extent. But creation, isn't that more of the alchemists thing?"
He eyed the zweihander. It was quite impressive and the fact that he was holding it in one hand wasn't bad either. Nils had never thought much about physicall training since it was mostly boring and tiring so he knew that his limits were low, but this guy really had some serious intrests in that, apparently.
"But you should see something fun, something bad and something beautiful in everything you do or use. It makes everything much more intresting and makes it easier to value what you do or have."

"Creation isn't alchemy. not my kind. I create barriers and solid force from the energies in the world." Jyo said with a shrug. he reholstered his weapon on his back. He raised an eyebrow as Nils spoke to him. it sounded like the guy was trying to instruct him. Jyo never felt that he couldn't learn something from a person even if they were less seasoned. But this guy was running over things Lance already knew from his training so he simply shrugged. "That is the whole point of spellcasting in my mind is to learn more about what I and others can do." He said

"I see. You must have been here for quite some time if you're that good. I wouldn't have become even the slightest strong myself without my specialisation and heritage and I always tend to compare people with myself to measure strength, and as a bad habit that also means styles. You're really good."
Nils realised that it must have sounded as if he had been the more experienced one. He knew that when it came to fire he was a born talent, and had the skills but he didn't have any real combat training or anything like that. That ment alot in a real situation.
((Sorry for being this late. I didn't have any creative ideas at first, not now either acutally, and then it was my birthday to work with.))
