Leon had made his way to the training grounds once again, but this time he didn't come prepared to train by himself. He brought his spear and the like, all his needed materials to combat that he used. Basically his body was a super conductor for the travelling magics in the air so to speak. Every mage uses up too much magic except for the most experienced, and here int he training ground is where everyone learned how to cast their spells, the remnents of that excess spell, or magic is obsorbed by this young man to be transfered to his own energy. this combined with the fact his family had basically combined themselves wiht the magics needed to produce electricity, he was a walking, breathing, sometimes talking generator.
He had learned this in the histories in the library with aid from a teacher he was pretty successful in reading it. He learned interesting things about his family, how select warriors from his clan where selected as guards against demons in some of the great wars of the past, and even though his child if he had one would only be half blood, he would still bare the mark of being fused with the electricity magic. He stabbed one end of his spear into the ground, this being a spear with two pointy ends made it alittle difficult to handle sometimes, but he had farely good use with it.
Now who would be training with this person you may ask? Well I wouldn't exactly call it training as more of showing off, for it was his friend Torm. One of the more interesting people in this Academy, him and Lienn. He slowly closed hsi eyes as he would not have to wait very long for Torm to show up, for they had discussed, well one sidedly discussed going to the training ground. Leon made the suggestion by asking with words, but the rest of the time it was faciel expressions and nods, or shakes of the head. Finally they had decided to go to the training ground.

Torm enters the training grounds feeling totally relaxed and refreshed, ready for another day of training. Today, though, was special; of all the people to suggest training together, it had been the normally silent Leon! That guy was continuously surprising him these days; perhaps he was truly growing from the training and learning here at Arcane.
And so, as Torm makes his way in, he is not surprised to see the man standing at the ready already, armed with a double-pointed spear. A fine choice, if Torm were to say so himself; sometimes, he finds himself weilding his ladder in a very similar fashion to the ways of the spear and its brethren, the polearms.
"Hey, Leon!" he calls, and rushes to meet up with the man. Feeling oddly formal for a moment, Torm offers a handshake. Come to think of it, they had never actually trained together, unless you count a few of the classes they had both been in "You're doing well today, I trust? Man, what a perfect day for this sort of thing."

Ah and there he was, the one he had asked to train with, a wide smile spread across his face. When the hand shake was offered he tilted his head to the side, he thought he remembered seeing something similer before, it was for when people got together, or first meetings he was unsure of the exact ritual for this event, but he grasped his hand and made a slight shake from what he had seen before, and smiled again. When Torm had asked or more hoped he was doing good today he gave a thumbs up and then the comment about how perfact today was for training Leon gave a nod. Quick and full of energy the nod went.
His motions where towards his spear as he concentrated a bit on the completely metal weapon. He reached out with his magnetic energies and pulled it from the ground bringing it soaring from the left side of his body, up and over him to his right, landing in his hand that was in position already. Then a question hit him, it would need words, but he had to know, someone had referred to him as Magnito from something called the X-Men.
"Who is Magnito?"
His eyes where completely seriouse and there was no sign of it beign a lie, he was truely wondering who it was. ever since he was called Magnito by sthe person it had been driving him crazy trying to find out, the books in the library had nothing on him, and he didn't feel comfurtable enough around anyone else to really ask.

"Magneto?" Torm can't help but laugh. Of all the things Leon might have said, this was the absolute least expected thing that could possibly have come out.
"Magneto," Torm explains, "is a made-up character in comics; action stories for children. His powers are the ability to generate and manipulate magnetic forces, much like what you just did. Very impressive, by the way." Torm had been truly impressed by the magnetic prowess Leon had just displayed. It was for this reason that Torm didn't make any of his gear out of magnetically active metals, or else if he ever met an enemy with powers like Leon or 'Magento,' he'd be truly screwed over.
"Shall we begin?" Torm takes a couple steps back.

Leons ears and eyes where on full attention to Torm when he explained who Magneto was. It seemed he was fake? Made-up? Odd to be compaired to something unreal in itself, he would have to ask what a comic is later. It seemed Torm was ready to get going on this thing. He smiled took a few steps back and bowed, he held the spear tightly in hsi right hand, tucking one side behind his shoulder and under his arm, oen end facing the ground at a slant, the other facing the sky. His feet together and in a 'V' shape.
Now not as a usual move for him, but he decided to go first, after a bow was made by him, he would give time if Torm wanted to return the gesture. But once that was over and Torm appeared ready Leon would jump forwart, his left arm going up to the top of his right shoulder appearing to go to grab it to make a downward slashing motion with it, but instead brought it up, it had no chance of actually making contact with him, unless he took two steps forward, but what would happen, was sparks shooting out of the tip in a wave effect. Little shocks like small muscle jumps would be shot out towards Torm. His well, taller than average friend.
A simple parler trick to get them started off in a game. If you would call it as such.

Indeed, you could call it as such. A fine, friendly match between peers is just the sort of thing Torm needs to shake off the cobwebs. Torm returns the bow with his own sweeping bow, but wastes no time in dropping into a combat stance, his ladder held diagonally across his body and his knees beent slightly, totally ready for action. Torm reaches into a pocket and quickly grabs and activates three blue-shelled Clockwork Beetles, which orbit his body speedily, looking quite a bit like electrons whirring around an atom's nucleus.
Now the spark wave comes at Torm. It is an impressive site, all that energy crackling through the air at him. With a speedy, whiplike motion, Torm weaves together a strand of the earth element, with some spirit and fire as well, and lays the simple weave down in a line across in front of him. A wall of earth shoots up where it lands, which takes the brunt of the electrical attack. Torm leaps back a few steps and responds quickly with an attack of his own; he weaves a shot of elemental water and hurls it forwards with a drill-like spinnining motion so that it will carve its way through the earthen wall unheeded. Leon's view is blocked by the wall of earth, and so there is a little difficulty in seeing it coming, and if stopped with electricity, it will require a lot of it since the water will conduct the electricity and merely become stronger when fused with it. Of course, he could always dodge it if he spots it or is fast enough once it rams through the earth wall; after all, it is only the opening volley. This would be quite an interesting session.
