A shocker (Leon)

"Nice attempt." Jyo said said as he parried an attack from his opponet with his right blade an followed up with an upwards slash using the left Katana. The apprentice jumped back slightly and noticed that his shirt had a slice in it but he wasn't hurt himself.

Jyo turned while singing the weapon in his left hand to meet the oncoming slash from the gaive heading his way. The attack was blocked and held there as Jyo shoved out with his arm throwing his attacker off blanance. He threw his right sword up into the air and held his right palm up to face his previous target and a blast of light came from his hand metting the apprentice's chest knocking him back.

The girl with the glaive came rushing back in as Jyo caught his right hand weapon and slashed at him. Jyo blocked having his weapons in an "X" position letting the glaive meet his blades where they crossed. Flipping forward and pulling his weapons apart Jyo watced the glaive go under him and hit the ground. Jyo landed right by the girl and his sword was held at her throat.
"Good practice you two. You've come along well. Same time on two days?" He said. The two apprentices nodded and headed out. Jyo smiled as he watched them go.

They are pretty good. Probably at the same level I was when I first started training. Pity they are simply outclassed. I need a real challenge. That didn't even wind me and I only used one spell. A weakend version of it no less. He thought as he stood there sheating his weapons and looking skywards.

[Leon]

Standing in the training ground after passing some students that seemed quite worked out, was the one with spikey blond hair, yet no gel, or anything of that sort was seeable in the hair. His dark blue eyes shut, unseen, by those around, which from memmory was only one person. within his hand, his right gripoping hard, was a completely metal duel edged spear. His eyes would open in forcus as he spun it from his right to his left, and back again, but once he did that he would spin his body around. as he would come around his arms would thrust the spear forward as is its proper use, but he would let go with one hand for further extention, the even odder thing was when he let go with the right hand as it would fly forward, it would stop 4 feet from his hand, and he would pull it back. Withthat retracting momentum he would jump to the air and spin, as the spear would eb coming back it would go under him, hsi hands outstretching. They would grab hold of the spear and as he came around for a final rotation he would aim to slam it hard to the ground as if hitting some invisible apponent.

Hardly winded from the small exercise, he used as a warm up, he would look around, his eyes landing on that person that was here as well. Wondering if he could get a spar in wiht this person he would walk over unthreateningly with a smile. He would point to himself then him and hold his spear in a mock battle stance to get his point across and then raise a questioning eye brow. Yes he did not speak it in words, he didn't talk that much, didn't like to talk to people he didn't know, in all rights he wouldn't of even had asked the guy to train with him if it where nto for the fact he had an urge to train with someone today. He had to try not to get used to fighting against people because of these missions he heard so much about. He alsohad to learn to fight because fo his blood line. He is a Sudeki warrior, his family hired by emperors and kings in wars as guards or assassins. Yet probably the most famouse for the fusion between them and the magic of the electric element. Because of this he had other magical powers, but if used would be miniscule at best.

If Jyo agreed he would bounce back a few times till he felt comfy and hols his spear facing one end down, it held within his right hand, tucked nicely under his arm as the other would face the sky. All Leon cared for right now was a nice little battle, a blood sport wasn't what he was searching for. A nice little excursion of energy and proficiency with a weapon, now that sounded nice.

Jyo looked over seeing Leon. he remembered him slightly from a mission they had gone on. Thoug for some reason Jyo didn't remember the details of the mission. SInce his return he had suffered a few memory gaps but nothing too major. He noticed Leon wanted a challenge. He thought for a moment then smiled and nodded as his hands went to the handels of his Katanas.

Jyo put his right foot forward and crouched slightly. His eyes locked onto Leon's. It was clear all Leon wanted was a challenge. And Jyo was going to make sure thats exactly what he would get. Jyo didn't budge though. He wanted to see what leon would do first and get an idea of his this foe would operate in combat.
