Damon really enjoyed fighting with his hands and feet. Best way to make his presence known throughout all of Arcane Academy is to get into as many fights as possible in the training grounds. The 6' Asian man had constructed a 4-sided boxing ring which could and would be used for fighting.
He waited for his first opponent. Though Arcane Academy teaches you how to master your magic powers, you still have to hone your mind, body, and soul. One of these ways was through fighting. Other methods included reading, meditation, prayer, yoga, etc.
But Damon preferred fighting. He leaned back against the corner dressed in a black-colored Judo gi with the Japanese flag on one sleeve and the United States flag on the other sleeve.
Calmly and casually, he waited for the person to meet him in this fighting ring.
"This should be fun taking on non-human beings with only my hands a feet," Damon said to himself.

"Unarmed? Fighting unarmed around here isn't too smart, unless you're some kind of secret agent. Or a god of war. Or both.", Roy said to the rather intimidating figure standing in the ring. He looked like something out of a comic book.
Or a poorly written fan-fiction.
As he climbed into the ring, he said "I'll tell you what, I'll leave my staff on my belt, and fight you without it. I can't guaruntee I won't burn your ass off, though."

Damon cooly and casually turned the person that just said that. Of course fighting unarmed isn't very smart. But there are times where you have no choice but to fight hand-to-hand. He would keep training and honing his skills for when that time would come.
He nodded in agreement.
"Of course, it isn't. But there will be times where you have no other options left other than to fight hand to hand," Damon explained to the person.
He then added, "hand-to-hand is also a test of your mind, body, and soul. You hone those three in, the better your magic abilities will be."

"I know that...it's the first thing my teacher taught me. I'm just making an observation, is all."
Roy chuckled slightly,o pting to set his staff outside the ring so he wouldn't be tempted to use it, along with his small silver dagger. He really diddn't need weapons to beat this guy, who had underestimated all non-humans.
Non-Human...that term pisses me off. Humanity is a goddamn state of mind...not a race.
Roy stretched slightly, as he looked over at the two elementals he had accidentaly summoned. They had discovered they could use his magic, due to an accidental mind link, and were training with it, to help him fight a demon that haunted the village of Inoa.
"Just a tip: Training without an encumberance only cripples you. You always need something to work against, be it an opponent, or bulky clothing." Roy said, his jacket blowing in the wind. He always wore his Inoan Warrior's garb when training. It was comfortable, and the enchanted white leather chest peice protected him quite well.
"Let's get this started, then." Roy said, as he turned his back to Aeon, and looked over his shoulder. A classic Inoan stance, designed to catch his opponent off guard.
Believe it or not, he could counter almost anything from this stance.....
