"HAH!"
Roy swung his spear horizontaly across the ground, sweeping the young man off his feet, and then he brought the iron haft of the spear backwards, into another young man's stomach.
Get the long-haired rat bastard!
"Hmmm...well, today could be going a little better, but this is fun, I guess."
Roy retracted his spear, and waited for a strike.......as soon as the young man swung his sword, Roy caught it between his palms, turned, and cut the boy's side wide open.
OH MY GOD!
The group ran off, amid gales of laughter from the young Warrior-Seer, Roy. Little did he know, a more powerfull oponent had been watching him fight.......

Trevor had gotten lost. He was looking for the library, and in search of a book to understand the joke behind his room number. Train told him it was in a Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. He needed to read that book. However, he managed to stumble onto the training grounds, and was quickly distracted by another long-haired redhead who happened to be fighting. He leaned against the wall, and watched. He initially wanted to go and help, but it seemed that the half-elf didn't need it.
He watched for a bit, and his eyes lit up. I think that book could wait. He walked over to the site of the battle, and introduced himself. "Excuse me, but i couldn't help enjoy the show. My compliments on a fight well fought." He bowed out of respect, stood up straight, and smiled. "My name is Trevor. I was wondering if you would be interested in a friendly little sparring match. I like to keep my skills sharp, and You look like you could give me a good fight."
Trevor's voice was like the wind, and so were his movements. Everything about the boy had an air of grace that only a refined swordsman would posses. It was more than that though. Trevor was a good natured individual, and fighting was more like a game to him, even if it was a life or death battle. The half breed would have a little bit of a problem if he chose to wield that heavy spear. He would need a lighter weapon if he was going to stand a chance. Few before him could match his speed, and the spear would definitely weigh him down.
Trevor, still smiling, tilted his head. This should be fun. And he's cute too. I'll have to be careful not to mar him to bad. Trevor was confident, but not cocky. He loved a good fight, and hoped that the boy accepted his challenge.

Umm....WHAT NOW? Alright, Roy, everybody is different...just shut out his thoughts.
Roy concentrated for a moment, and before he could hear any other thoughts, he cut the accidental connection. A round was fine...but something about not screwing up his face? This guy was a little odd, no shirt in chlly weather, but he was a good person. Roy could tell.
He WAS a Seer, after all.
"Alright. Let me set my spears aside. I'll be using my dagger."
Roy set his still-extended spear against a nearby tree, along with the Spear of Judas. He wouldn't be using either of them against this guy, although he was eager to get the fight started.
Drawing the dagger from his boot, he walked over until he was about five feet from the young man. "Alright, Trevor. I'm Roy. It is an honor to spar with you."
He took stance, and waited.

He bowed once again, drawing a dagger form his own boot in a swift motion as he stood up. He flipped it casually in the air, catching it by it's handle. "Well, let's begin then, shall we? GOOD LUCK!" He shouted as he charged forward. He came in close, striking at the chest area with blazing speed five strikes in quick succession, all with only his right hand. The smile was slight, but still on his face. Each attack flowed right into the next, his dualist grace very evident. Had he been given a broom handle he could have made the motions look like art. He was good at his chosen craft, and that craft happened to be swordplay.
The attacks were light, and striking only far enough so that if they hit, it would be light scratching or very shallow piercing at best. Trevor's control is flawless, as is his form. This was only a spar after all, and Trevor was not one for going overboard.

Roy wasn't slow, but he still wasn't as fast as Trevor. He managed to block the strikes, except for one, which scraped his chest plate.
Holy...shit....he's fast.
Roy shifted backwards, not taking his feet off the ground, so that he wouldn't compromise his stance, and punched out with his right hand, simultaneously flipping his dagger over to the left hand incase he needed to parry, as he threw three more right-fisted jabs.
This guy's fast...but I can't use my second sight...I don't want to fall into a shroud.

Roy was combining hand-to-hand and blade work. Trevor was impressed with the boys speed. Not bad. He is fast. Trevor was toning down his speed a bit, seeming only to be a little faster than Roy. The punches were dodged, as it was more Trevor's style to not be there rather than block, at least when it came to brawling. He hopped back, well out of range. A mischievous smile played upon his lips.
"Very good. But, let's take it up a bit, shall we? I was given the title Swift Dragon from my former clan. I'd like to show you why. EN GUARD!" He charged forward, a seemingly stupid move. However, just as he reached Roy, he vanished (think anime). One moment there, the next gone. However, he wasn't gone, nor was he invisible. he had just moved faster than the eye could catch. He was now behind Roy, and airborne. He came down with both feet, hitting Roy mid-back (if the attack was successful). He would stop and give the boy time to recover. After all, this was all in good fun.

"ORRAAAAA!"
As Trevor seemed to dissapear, Roy spun backwards in a bagua style strike, screaming the fammiliar war-cry almost on instinct. His left foot shot upward, in a high-kick that almost looked like a karate-style axe-kick, blocking Trevor's attempt at an attack.
"I see you. EYE OF THE MIND!"
Roy could suddenly see everything. Every facet of every move Trevor would make in the next few moments, and every direction he would dodge in.
"Enguarde yourself.", Roy said, in a friendly tone of voice, with a small laugh, as he mimicked the dissapearing act. "You're going to get a KICK out of this."
Roy emulated the move, appearing behind Trevor, where Trevor would MOST LIKELY attack after hearing Roy. Roy knew that this was the most likely thing to happen, so he pulled it off again, this time jumping OVER Trevir in a nearly invisible flash of motion.
He would then launch three kicks to Trevor's exposed back, if his plan went as well as he thought it would.

Eye of the... he's a SEER! Oh good! This just got much more exciting! He dodged the first kick, the one that countered his attack. However. before he got to attack again himself, Roy vanished and appeared behind Trevor. Trevor's speed would work toward his advantage though, as he merely rolled forward and turned to face where Roy landed.
Trevor was well traveled, even at such a young age. He had met many people throughout his life. His clan alone was diverse, consisting of many different cultures and professions. He had met a seer once, and the her abilities had amazed him. Now, here he was, battling one. Would his speed be enough? It was time to find out.
"It is truly an honor to battle you, sir. I have only met one other seer before, but she was no warrior. Though you can see my moves in advance, I have to wonder... can you still respond fast enough?" His body began to glow slightly, a faint blue light outlining his form. He had no name for this technique. It was a form of magic, and Trevor himself was completely unaware that is was a spell. He only knew how to use it, and even then no one knows if it is at it's true potential He had never had a teacher help him with this ability, and it was one of the things he hoped to accomplish at the academy.
He moved blindingly fast, the previous vanishing act not even half of what he was doing now. The speed was so controlled, his movements like the very wind. He flipped the dagger, blade down, reversing the grip. He didn't want to actually stab his opponent, so he would use the blunt end. Placing the weapon between his fingers, it would only strengthen his punch. He grabbed the other, mirroring the motions. He moved form side to side, seemingly everywhere and nowhere. He attacked both sides of Roy's body, making it appear like he was multiple attackers. The attacks were made to his chest and ribs.
Should it seem like Roy was overcome, Trevor would back down, allowing his opponent to recover.

"Knowing is half the battle."
Roy's fist shot out to block the rib strike, as his dagger switched hands yet again, and he used the flat of the blade to block the chest strike.
"The trick is responding ahead of time.....can you do the same?"
Roy shot his hand out, parralel to the ground, palm facing upward, and closed his hand.
Suddenly, vines shot up from the ground, on all sides of Trevor. A tangleweed spell always sought out the target, after all. Roy diddn't exactly know how he knew that, but why look a gift horse in the mouth? It would either bind Trevor, or slow him down while he cut the vines.

Trevor was caught off-guard. He had forgotten that all the students at the school knew magic. He learned that the hard way as the daggers fell from his hands as the vines wrapped up his arms and legs. His right hand was pined to his side. It was then he felt the cool metal of the cylinder that hung form his waist. He grasped it, and flipped the switch The hum of the energy was all that was hear as the blade extended instantly form it's hilt. With a few wrist movements, he had managed to free his arm. With that, he cut himself free, back flipping away from the vine prison.
"Well, can't say I expected that. But, i have a feeling you expected this." He held the energy blade up for Roy to see. "This is an Energy Blade. It was build custom for me by a friend of my in my clan. the blade is made of pure energy, and I have yet to find something it cannot cut. I was hoping to avoid using it, as this is only a sparing match, but it seems like I would be at a disadvantage if I don't start wielding it.
His body began to glow, this time a hair brighter. "This duel is some of the most fun I've had in a while. Regardless of the outcome, I owe you a drink. For now, good luck!" He raced forward, his movements still fluid, his motion having no pattern. The blade swung in hypnotic arcs, the light and hum forming a dance of sorts. Trevor moved behind Roy, seemingly to strike. Just at the last second, he shifted again, and in two moves, he was back at Roy's front, just as the blade moved in a downward diagonal form left to right across Roy's chest.

"Nice feint."
Roy blocked the enrgy blade, although not easily. His second sight was starting to cloud. He was falling into a "Seer's Shroud", that would start the moment he stopped using his second sight.
He would be completely blind for several huors after this, it seemed, so it was time for either a last ditch effort, or a surrender.
"I don't think I can go on...sorry.....I'm falling into a Seer's Shroud.....I've overused my second sight this past week..."

The glow disappeared, and the blade was retracted. Trevor was unfamiliar with what a seer's shroud was, but he trusted that the boy was telling the truth, and that the match was indeed over. He found his daggers, and returned them to his boots. He was slightly disappointed that the fun had to end, but he was more concerned that Roy would be ok.
"I hate to have a match like that end, but I did enjoy it very much. I can't say I know what a seer's shroud is, though. Are you going to be alright?"
