There was a soft swish as Hadrian's scythe came down, cutting the dummy cleanly in half. He scowled a little as he held the scythe out and it dissovled into shadows sucking back into his hand. He had been here for a little while in the training grounds, cutting up wooden dummies with his scythe. Though it was rather boring as dummies did not bleed or scream or beg for mercy. He growled as he started to punch one of the remaining dummies. Hadrian sighed almost with relish as the wood bit into his knuckles causing the skin to start to peel away. He grinned with glee as after a few punches the wood where a humans heart would be splintered and gave way to his fist, creating a small hole in the chest of the dummy.
His black pupil-less eyes narrowed a little in bored anger, "I need something more tacticle, the sensation of fist against flesh is something a dummy cannot simulate," he said to himself as he looked around the training grounds for a possible opponent. He wanted another chance to test the humans, his last fight here with the nightmare boy, Varys, ended in a bit of a draw. But it was not an affront to Hadrian's pride because the boy was more nightmare than human and Hadrian respected that.

Phaedra Weiss was bored. She didn't have anything to do today and had decided a little extra training on her part wouldn't be so bad. Therefore she had headed to the training ground with her sword on her hip. Dressed in blue jeans and a zip up white hoodie she was ready to go. She smiled as her pony tail blew in the wind she walked through the training grounds actually looking for a fight today instead of just some kind of sparring equipment.
It was then she spotted that angel guy. From that mission. If she remembered right he hated humans. It might be nice to actually fight with someone that had a reason to fight her. That wouldn't go easy on her because she was a girl. She stepped into the grounds and smirked. She knew his name from the Revolution register. Hadrian Charon.
"Good afternoon." she said with a grin. "Care for a fight? I'd like to have someone to actually fight today and you seem bored. How about it?"

Hadrian turned as he heard a soft voice. The sight he was greeted with was a rather attractive redhead who looked familiar. He could not quite place where he had seen her before be she definitely looked familiar. Regardless he looked over her, examining her with the those black pupil-less eyes of his, sizing her up. He did not say anything at first as she greeted him, he allowed himself a small polite smile. He may not have liked humans but there was no reaon to be overly rude. Celeste was starting to rub off on him and he was definitely starting to soften in his attitude towards humans. He could not quite tell as of yet whether or not this was a good thing or a bad thing. He grinned interestedly as she proposed a fight.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, at first I could not quite place you but now I remember you, Phaedra Weiss correct?" he asked in a soft voice as he took a step towards her, "I would indeed enjoy a fight," he said with a grin, "I've heard you're quite the skilled sword wielder I'd like to see how my scythe matches up with your sword," he said with a grin as he stuck out his hand and a strand of shadow slithered out, solidifying into a scythe which he draped nonchalantly over his shoulder, "Whenever you are ready to begin I suppose."

"It's just Phae, Phaedra seems soooooo ... old fashioned or something, I don't know. My parents, of course had to give me the worst name imaginable. But regardless." she chuckled as she stepped fully into the ring.
For now she was merely going to fight sword to scythe because she wasn't going to pull out her magic just yet. But she was eager to see what this boy could do. They were on the same team at school but that didn't mean he actually wanted to be there. She figured his girlfriend had most likely brought him there and she smiled. Well at least she could test out his worth of sorts here on the field where they could clash together.
"Oh, are you waiting on me? Silly me. Lets get started." she chuckled. Cocky? Just a bit, Blacky was rubbing off on her at times and besides, she was eager to fight this guy. She wasn't to see just what he had and she yearned for a good old fashioned sword fight.
She pulled her sword out, gleaming in the sunlight she settled her hand in the grip. Right handed, though she was trained with both, just more proficiant with one. She smiled as she ran forward as if she was going to attack him. But instead she stopped and grinned holding out a hand.
"It's nice to meet you in person. Just thought, it'd be nice to shake hands before we start." she said. "Oh .. and attack when ready. Anytime."

Hadrian chuckled as he heard the cockiness in her voice. Well she certainly was rather sure of her abilities from the way she was talking. Then again she was essentially the right hand of Revolution, she had to be pretty skilled and strong to hold a position of that importance. He studied her carefully especially as she dashed forward. Hadrian did not move and merely grinned, nothing about her stance as she dashed at him signaled that she was going to attack. He looked down at her with his black eyes, watching her carefully and then grinning a little and shaking her hand.
"Well Phae, I certainly wouldn't want to disappoint you," he said with a grin as he lashed out with the butt of his scythe, aiming to hit her in the stomach. If that blow was successful it would be with enough force to knock the air from her lungs and stun her. Then he would bring his scythe backwards down at her, driving the blade that extended from the opposite side of the main blade of the scythe down towards her with a certain vicious speed that only few fighters had. This was to show her that he was not playing games, this was a duel she should take seriously because he certainly was not going to pull any punches. This was as serious to him as a life and death situation, Hadrian could only wonder if she would honor him by respecting the fight as he did.

Phaedra smiled at him when he said he wouldn't disappoint her. Taking a low blow he went right for her stomach. A twist of her wrist and her blade knocked his scythe off course and past her side. She smiled as she whirled her blade down between them and her arm back out straight as she moved out of his way. She didn't want to be that close to him, not at the moment anyway. Stepping back while he got his bearings again she slashed her blade down quickly from his left shoulder to right hip. Then before even stopping the blade twisted to cut him across the stomach her eyes watching him for his next move.
