Tristan, so deemed hero, walked out into the training grounds. The man had challenged his friend Leon to a little match to compare their strength, since Leon too had been deemed a hero after the battle of Vichy. The two had ended the battle with a massive combination attack. Tristan's Teolus spell, used in mammoth proportions, had been combined with the Rah-ken spell of the lightning mage.
The Rah-ken had helped fuel the Teolus and keep it alive, while Tristan controlled it with what little mana he had left, which had been donated by the elemental dragon on Tristan's shoulder. "Heroes huh? I'll never understand war." Tristan said to himself quietly. It was understandable that Tristan and Leon had fried damn near two thousand people in a single blow, effectively ending the battle. But were they heroes to do it?
Tristan got to a boulder on the far side of the plains, the prominent battle field when one walked into the grounds. He leaned up against it, and Igneus crawled off his perch, and onto the huge rock, which stood an inch or so above Tristan's head.

Today the young man Leon Sudeki had been asked for a small fiendly fight between Heroes, Leon knew what a hero was, but didn't understand why he or Tristan had been declared such things. But looking at his medal on the inside of his green vest he contemplated about how it all could just be in the honor of the situation. Tai was rambling on about some big speach he shoulda been allowed to give instead of Leon declining and just accepted the reward. The boy had the spear on his back and a small difference, something almost unseeable, his usually brown eyes where beginning to turn lighter than usual. It wasn't like transforming before your very eyes, it was just different fromt he regular dark brown, it had gone to a lighter brown color.
"Heyo. . . Lienn taught me that. . . Well are we. . . Ready?"
In his usual manner he asked if Tristan was prepared, the field was pretty calm, but as Leon reached behind his back with a gloved hand sparks began to surface around parts of his body as muscles began to move. This particuler Lightning Mage was not in need of any hand signlas, or words, except for the Rah-Ken, the only thing he needed was to think or will it and it happened. So he flipped the spear around infront of him, the double sided spear had one end cup under his shoulder and the other point towards the ground. Leon was preparing to use his first spell and they hadn't even gotten started yet.

Tristan nodded and grinned slightly. They were a decent distance apart, so Tristan shot forward, almost at full blast. As he charged, his hands met with a clang, and his alchemy took hold, granting the hunter his gauntlet blades. A quick analysis of the boy's form told Tristan a few things. The spear was an obstacle, but it could be maneuvered around.
Thing was, the boy's magnetic magic could manipulate it well, so the basic thought that a staff sort of weapon could be easily bypassed by making a dodge of a blow, then the user would be wide open was shot full of holes.
Tristan came in and would side step any attack by shifting to the right, or jumping incase a sweep. If the former occured, Tristan would make a sweeping cross slash with the left blade, and run past his friend, gaining some distance. If the latter, Leon would be met with a stomping kick to the chest, then a stomp on the shoulder as Tristan launched himself high into the air and back, landing ontop of the boulder he was just leaning against.

As Tristan darted forward Leon covered the spear in an electrical charge, and then thrust the end that was pointing at the ground towards tristan, but the odd thing about it was electricity shot forward fromt he end in the form of an electric blade, though it did not have the potential to cut it would leave welts and bruises, by covering his spear with mana it allowed him ot hit full force without the chance of harming Tristan. Though Tristan had been ready for the attack, though even with the extra extension from the electrical blade it would not hit as Tristan dodged to the left. (Your right) The spikey haired boy had alittle time to see the attack coming and Tai had warned Leon that Alchemists where capable of turning any object against him, so he was ready for said possibility.
The slash came at him and he tucked his body inward holding himself to the spear which floated and then spun to help him flip around it. The spear was now on the opposite side of Leon, and the end that had been tucked under his shoulder would now be pointing behind him were Tristan had been headed earlier. So once again he would extend the spear into an electric blade, while the end that had it before drained away making it smaller and more manueverable, even more so then with the help of his magnetic abilities. With the entension of his spear he would spin around slashing it horizontaly behind him.
If nothing conected then the blade would shrink back to normal and he would bring the other end around ready to continue with the fight and his spell that he stole from Tai called Blood Runner.
(I think it would be wise to tell you what the blade extension looks like. I'd say about a 3 foot extension with a foot and a half from the back of the blade to the actual blade. Slightly curved like a Chinese Broad Sword.)

Tristan missed...damn. Oh well...It was too simple to hit someone like Leon. "Oh, Shit." Tristan was looking over his shoulder as he passed the boy, and he had to dive when he saw the Wu Dao looking yellow blade. He did a half assed roll over his right shoulder and slid to his feet. "Heh, not bad." He said in a simple comment.
The hunter then took off, this time full blast, and activated his fire punch spell. His power had gone up since the last time he used this spell, so he wasn't sure how long it was going to last...but it would last a while. There was a quick and obvious, but not overly obvious upper cutting slash with the left gauntlet as Tristan came in.
The reality behind this attack was to distract the spear while Tristan sent a stab to the left shoulder with the opposite hand.

"Multi, Infernos, Supportus, Magicos, Indeferos, Metheros!"
With his right hand he brought the spear up to block what his eyes saw was an upper cut, by catching it on the top, while his left hand formed a fireball in it, yes thats right a fire ball. It was a simple spell, the simplest of simple he learned from the Historian in a class. Though it takes Leon more energy to cast it than anyone else, and more concentration he can do it, though the first few times he tried it all he got was a tiny little thing that could be the same as the flame from a dieing lighter. But this time it was a much bigger fireball, and Leon had added alittle something Tai suggested onto the spell. The ball of fire was held against his skin and fingers as he gripped it alittle bigger than a baseball.
At this time his eyes caught something else, it was a stab for his shoulder, but the spear was busy, so letting go of the spear he had it float there to block the other attack, while his right hand went in to catch the fore arm of Tristan. It had stabbed but Leon did catch it, he felt the difference in strength now, it wasn't too large, but it was a good amount, Tristan was stronger. But Leon wasn't going to slow down now, he would push the arm and back peddle at the same time to get away, it hadn't done too much damage, but he was bleeding. As he jumped back the spear would move away off to Tristan's left a few yards, while Leon's left hand raised that fire ball and fired it off, but the add on to the spell was the hting as multiple fire balls spouted from his hand shooting towards Tristan's direction, he could only summon 5 fire balls the same size and thats all that was sent, not even in a line, they where alittle spread out.

Hey, it worked. Not perfectly...but it worked. Tristan was indeed stronger, though the stab wasn't exactly a full on haymaker. The attack was rather easily stopped, but it had done just about as much as the hunter intended. Could have done more damage, but a hit was a hit, right?
The hunter saw the fire ball as his friend peddled back and took aim. "Heh." He scoffed, taking a rather taunting position, and lifting a gauntlet to yawn non-shalontly. One, Two, Three, Four. Four of the fire balls hit Tristan, full force, the other was a little too high els it would have nailed Tristan in the left shoulder. The smoke cleared, and the man dusted himself off like he'd been exposed to no more than an over powdered firecracker (its supposed to be powdered, not powered).
"Sorry...Did I forget to mention, FIRE IS MY ELEMENT!!" And with that, Tristan's element shot forth from his mouth, sending an enormous fireball, about five feet in diameter, straight at Leon. Tristan would chase his own spell, far enough back so that he could see where the boy dodged, and pursue.
Once Leon's evasional destination was determined, grinning, Tristan would jump high into the air, about ten feet, and dive bomb the spikey haired boy with a corkscrew style attack that would slice him up pretty good if it hit. If that missed, Tristan would hit the ground, and perform a sort of handstand spin and flip himself up onto his feet. As for how the hunter moved through the air like that, he had wind element too, ya know.

Leon had back peddled spun around and pulled his hands together in concentration, his eyes closed, and he stood completely straight making himself thin, his spear surrounded him at high speeds, spinning. He needed a bit of time for this spell, as it was a combination. Also needed extra time for it due to being half focused on everything. The spear intercepted the fire ball and since it was spinning, the force would be redirected, as the ball would hit the ground, the static field the spear was causing kept the explosion from doing damage to him. As some blood dripped from his elbow Tristan was already on the attack, his spear went up spinning with the static field in an attempt to intercept.
The spear only had to hold out for a little bit. If not then Leon would have to break concentration on the spell, and face Tristan, he would exert his energy in a berrier type of electricity, but it would be forced towards Tristan in an attempt to force push him away. It would probably end up a deadlock of power. Physical and magical. But if it did come to that Leon was going to force his own energy to attempt to spin in the opposite direction as Tristan was spinning. The exertion would probably cause Leon to begin to yell in concentrated power. Of course thats as long as the spear didn't hold Tristan back, which was doubtful.

Tristan was indeed stopped by the static field around the spinning spear. He had only been using momentum and gravity in his spinning dive bomb, after all. Not using magic to propell your self left much to be desired when it came to the power of a diving attack, especially if your opponent can form electrostatic barriers.
"Ooh, tingly." The crusnik grinned, landing on his feet, feeling a slight charge run through his body. He then pulled back and made a strike that could blast through the spear itsself, but would stop short of putting a whole clean through Leon's shoulder. It would infact, if it struck, put a gash in his shoulder, but it would be stopped at the point where the blade was a little over an inch into the flesh, he still didn't want to kill his friend after all. That strike was thrown by the right bladed fist, which was opposite the follow up attack by Tristan's left foot, which was just a stomp kick to the upper right thigh of the spikey haired spell caster.
It was meant to knock Leon off his feet by buckling that right leg, as well as push him back, where he would be left in a comprimising position and relatively open to attack.

Leon had to stop with the spell he was planning on using and wait for another time. He saw Tristan's attack coming in witht hat right arm of his, slamming past the spear with flew back, seemingly uncontrolled. Leon's left arm reached out and he used his Magnetism to slow down if not stop the oncoming blow, while his right arm reached up and grabbed the spear that lifted him up and away from Tristan. He would lift himself up onto the spear balancing on it easily and stood ontop of it.
He gave a look like 'Your not gonna stab me this time.' And he stayed ready. He was unsure of what Tristan would do next, but Leon would start to fall off the spear keeping his feet attached to it, bending his knees against it and push off, directly for him. He would charge both fists with electricity in the decent and get ready to hammer them towards him, this would happen relatively fast after getting ontop of the spear, so it didn't take much time, but still dodgable, the secondary attack was the spear going behind Tristan to smack with a Blade Runner extension of the spear's blade, like earlier in this fight, that would hopefully catch him off guard for the double punch. If not, then that was fine with Leon too, splash damage was fun.

Tristan's fist had almost been stopped by the magic, he felt his fist hit the metal of the gauntlet with a slight twinge of pain. Tristan's power and momentum were rivaled by Leon's energy, but it wasn't enough to totally stop it in that short ammount of time. Secondary attack was totally avoided, Leon had jumped up, using his spear as a makeshift acrobat pole. Tristan's foot planted itsself and became the launching point for Tristan's next attack.
The hunter spun himself around and up, spinning sideways in what could be called the 'butterfly kick'. In one way it was an acrobatic move, in one way it was an attack, much like the cartwheel could be used to strike. As Leon decended, Tristan's foot shot up, having been aimed to thrust into Leon's torso. Instead, the fists and bottom of the boot would meet, causing a large jolt to run through Tristan's body. It wasn't too intense as the time for charge was shorter than Leon would expect, and the fact that the hunter wasn't connected to the ground, which would give him the full brunt of the attack.
His altered position put him in a place where he could see the spear coming at him, and he caught it. A titanium grip just below the blade, the extended blade runner sending jolts to Tristan's skin, just inches away. Depending on what Leon did next, there were a few ways out of this. Some of which would be quite fun.

Blood was still dripping down his arm. Not very comfurtable, but he was alright with it. He then began to gather the electricity in one hand, as he watched Tristan holding onto his spear. He formed his hand to point and a small electric point showed up on his finger like he was using blood runner on it. Magic worked in odd ways in that distance and stuff took more energy. But this small thing would do just fine for this. This was one of his favorite spells when it came to combat, if it wasn't obviouse yet.
He would bend his finger inward and then flick it outward, it would extend with the blue electric energy in a slash motion, then retract as he charged Tristan. The extention would be aimed for Tristans arm to try and get him to let go of his spear, it would tear through the ground in the slashing motion as it appraoched too.

Being away from the ground, the fronts of electrical shock didn't do too much. There was no grounding point to send the full force of the electricity through Tristan's body, so he was relatively safe, though it still wasn't pleasant. The hunter then looked back to Leon, pushing his body out of the way of the blade should it be elongated any further, and saw the next attack. And an interesting one at that.
It was a simple enough concept, focusing the lightning into a single beam, but it was still pretty thought provoking. Time to think though, was not something Tristan had as the hunter hurled himself over the spear, and just out of the path of the beam. Tristan had used his grip on the weapon and the fact that it was more or less magnetically held in place by Leon to swing himself out of harms way.
What the hunter did next was copy his friend, by swinging himself up onto the spear. Following that little display, Tristan waved his arm and shot out three kamataichi blades. They were near invisible aside from a slight distortion like one might see above a flame. Though unless you were looking at the broad side of the blade, it wasn't much at all mearly a flicker that one wouldn't see in the heat of battle. Even Tristan had a hard time keeping track of the damned things if his consentration was interrupted.
The three blades arched right toward the lightning mage and once within eight inches, would be ignited with the slightest spark of fire element and explode with a brilliant force more or less in Leon's face. The force would be directed right toward this other Hero as the blades acted like a shape charge, but even so, Tristan's power wasn't such that not verbalizing, let alone not roaring, his spells name was incredibly strong, as such, each blades explosive force had less bang than flash, but the three combined still had a large ammount of power.
As for Tristan, he'd simply stand there, using inhuman ability to stay balanced on the spear without aid.

Now Tristan may not have been on the ground, but if he was struck by the blood runner attack from Leon's finger, then he would be attached through the physical form of the electricity expanding from the finger and Leon himself, standing on the ground. But that didn't matter right now due to him dodging it anyways. He didn't notice the blades coming at him, but he did retract the finger blood runner and tip the spear downward to send it into the groun by a point. From there he would transfer electricity to it through the ground and make it into a tesla coil as a distraction. With his blood on Tristans guantlet the electric bolts from the tesla like spear would be aimed for that.
The flash and force of the explosion knocked him back and skidding across the ground. He had not seen, nor expected that, he didn't even have enough time to throw up a quick electric field to take the brunt of the explosion. The front of his shirt and vest burnt away, and his cargo shorts where burnt. His legs had slight burns on them too, but the scratches and bruises he was gonna take with him away from this fight was going to be interesting. He got up quickly hoping the electricty being fired at him by the spear would be enough of a distraction for the time being to allow Leon to prepare a Cannon. An electrical attack he decided to try esspecially for this fight. Durring the battle of Vichy he had seen the tanks and other things, people called Cannons, basically firing a shell that explodes. He brought his right hand in pointing the forearm up and the palm bending to face up as well. The fingers curling in to form focus points.
He jumped up against a boulder and then higher up a electric shell was formed in his hand, the epicenter completely clear, it soon filled with bouncing electricty that seemed to be so spuratic and unstable it was dangerous. After getting off the ground his spear would of run out of transfered electricity after two more bolts, so he only had enough tim eot fire this in hopes of getting at least 'Splash Damage'. He pointed the end of the 'Cannon' alittle above Tristan so it could fall some, and fired, a small booming noise as it was sent forward would be audible, and if Tristan avoided, once it made contact with the ground there would be a descent explosion to it.

The hunter easily caught sight of the charge beginning to form below him. "Oh shit." He said to himself for the most part before leaping straight up and activating his various elements, sending him self blasting up and away from the bolts that had released from the ground. His flight took him far and fast but the bolt was keeping up with him, gaining even. It was alot slower then regular lightning, but it was also following the Crusnik.
It only took a moment to realize what it was that the bolt was following. The blood on Tristan's right gauntlet was perculating with electricity. "Damnit." Before activating his chakra and doubling his speed. Doubled speed combined with flight makes for nigh teleportation. And teleport Tristan did, right infront of Leon. His insane speed out maneuvered the homing lightning and placed him infront of his opponent with a cocked bladed fist. It was that same right fist as there was no sense making another target for that homing lightning.
Both men were flying. Tristan specifically in flight, and Leon was airborne charging another attack. Before he had the chance to fire that attack, however, Tristan's bladed fist went flying straight for him with double its previous speed. This was a death blow and could rather easily kill any normal being, but mages had defenses for these sorts of things, not to mention it would force the blonde to abandon this current attack, which would likely be rather devistating if it happened to have been released.
