((OOC: It doesn't have to spark into a battle instantly. You catch my drift right? Maybe Raiden and Tas have a little talk before fighting, or if they even fight at all. It may be the training ground, but there doesn't always have to be fighting...if you catch my drift. )) Raiden was in the mountain terrain area of the training grounds. The place was quiet with only a few trees around and a moderate sized water fall with a few rocks below. Well, Raiden sat on top a rock that sat in the middle of the stream that lead to the water fall. He seemed to be a in a meditative state only inhaling and exhaling ever so often. Suddenly he gets to his feet and draws his sword in a very quick manner. As he drew the sword it swung out downward in a diagonal fashion. Everything happened so quickly it was almost like watching lightning. Raiden quickly sheathed his katana and sat back down. His eyes focused on the boulder ahead of him which was further up the stream. Suddenly the boulder cracked and then split in half diagonally. It may be unbelievable seeing how Raiden wasn't even near the rock when he attacked. It had something to do with Raiden effecting the wind currents and this and that, but he wasn't going to over look it agian and go into detail about it... For the remainder of time Raiden sat in silence a top the rock he was originally sitting on. It was good that no one else was around to cause a lot of commotion. That was a premature assumption though...as Raiden picked up foot steps of some one heading to the edge of the stream in his direction.

((OOC: Yup, i catch your drift. Training doesn't mean death duels at three paces. At least, not all the time... i think... )) Tas had been roaming the mountain area, still trying to get to know the grounds. Her mind was focused on getting across a fast stream when her head jerks up, a loud crack echoing from upstream. "Hmm... disturbance?" she mutters softly to herself. There was a faint aura of magic that she was sensing, but only just. Maybe someone was up there. After a long moment she shrugs and starts moving again, this time heading upstream. After a while she rounds a protrusion of rock that nearly forced her to walk in the water, and comes across the open area near the waterfall. At this point she stops dead in her tracks, not because there was someone in the clearing, but there was a rather large rock there. Which looked like it had been cleaved very recently. And the guy had a sword. "Uhm... hello?" was her fairly hesitant greeting.

((OOC: Exact to mundo!))
Raiden sat silent for a period of time hoping the person would eventually pass, but the person eventually ended up greeting him in a discreet way. Raiden took his sword and sheathed it in his blade as he slowly stood up on the rock he was standing on. He then turned around slowly to see who it was. The person was a complete and total strange to Raiden. Raiden has never see this lady before, or even caught her scent.
"K~Konichiwa..."
Raiden greeted her in the most discreet and low toned manner ever. Anyone could see how nervous he was by just listening to his voice. Well, Raiden caught his blunder and thought he should have at least greeted her in english. "U-Uh!? I mean 'hello'!" he said as he loses it. Raiden getting a little gittering lost his blance and then fell off the rock into the stream. The water was very shallow as he only reached his knees as he clumsily got up.
"*cough* *cough* *cough*"
Smooth move...

She had smiled slightly at his greeting. She spoke english primarily, but thanks to her parents she also knew some basic japanese. Her eyes sparked with amusement as he hastily corrects himself, and she responds with a one-shoulder shrug implying "That's ok."[/u] to try and put him at ease as she starts moving closer.
Tas was a bit suprised as he attempted to rise while she walked, then she stops in her tracks as he falls into the water. One hand comes helplessly to her mouth as she is torn between mirth and concern. Laughing outright at his plight would have been fun, and maybe understandable, but he'd probably not appreciate it.
So instead, after a brief hesitation to get herself under control, she follows a more helpful path and moves quickly to the edge of the stream near him as he struggles upright again. With a slightly embarassed shrug she offers a helping hand to get him up and out of the stream. "Sorry about that." she says apologetically. "I didn't mean to throw you off-balance."
