Amilith entered the training grounds. He knew the way, and he wasn't suprised about the surroundings. He had seen this place hundreds of times before and there was a hundred more comming and more after that. But it was his first time there in person, and he enjoyed the plains he was floating around at since it reminded him of when he and his family had been travelling around. But even though the area was calming and he himself was a very calm and collected person he couldn't contain a shiver of exitment when he thought about what would happen. He soon came to a large boulder, the large boulder in his mind. He sat down on it. And he waited. Every now and then someone would come up and ask if he wanted to spare, if he wasn't to weak to be there and sometimes even insult him. He either ignored them or waved them away with a nonchalant gesture. That way he sat and waited for two hours. He could've been more precise, but he enjoyed the area and he prefered to do things in time. If nothing else he didn't have anything to do, other than answering the normal questions from retards and greedy businessmen. Or scaring them away. Once the time was over a man finally came up to him. The man in Amiliths mind. He gave the man a warm smile as he greeted him:
"Hello there, Knightrhode, I've been waiting for you."

Another ordinary day in the training grounds...Or was it?
Tristan had nothing better to do, so as always, he was heading for the Training Grounds to go kick some ass. His pace was slow as he looked up toward the sky. Igneus was curled up on his right shoulder as usual, one eye open since his partner wasn't really paying attention. The element dragon was a little apprehensive at the moment, though he, nor Tristan, knew why. Soon enough the hunter was crossing the threshold of the grounds.
For a moment, he stopped. The oddest sensation came over the both of them, and it was amplified across the mental link between the pair. It was the odd sensation of fate. One of those 'ahh shit' moments, without the eminent danger. Shaking the sensation for the time being, Tristan kept going until he heard the voice. His left foot slid back and his stance lowered slightly. Somehow he'd been expecting this. What exactly it was meaning, he didn't know.
"And who are you?" The appropriate question. Asking how this kid knew who Tristan was would have just been stupid, that was obvious. Or would have been given any one els, though the way he'd said it was a bit strange. What was stranger, momentarily, was the floating crystals. Quickly enough though, Tristan's vast knowledge keened in on the fact that this guy was just some sort of oracle. Tristan didn't like seer's much...they were always a pain in the ass to fight. Even for Tristan and his blinding enhanced power.

Amilith smiled and floated down from the boulder without bothering to stand up from sitting, so he looked kind of odd as he was sitting in thin air, legs crossed in a lotus position. He slowly approached Tristan with his hands up in a gesture that he wasn't an opponent. He gave Tristan one of his warmest smiles and began to speak:
"Please, excuse my lack of manners. My name is Amilith Tyrn, and I am as you have gathered an oracle. It's an honor to meet one of the best mages and warriors in the academy."
Now he finally got up and decided that the most polite thing to do would be to land. So he gently took ground in front of Tristan.
"Mr.Knightrhode, I have waited for you because of a special reason. And I hope that you will accept my offer since it is most beneficial for you. But first of all I'd prefer if you would calm down a bit, I'm in no way whatsoever harmfull against you, especially since that would get in the way of the deal I'd like to propose."

[An honor huh?] Tristan's stance lightened. The simple fact that he'd gotten that feeling had set him on edge, and he returned to a square stand point. "I don't know about the best. There are plenty of wizard class students who could wipe the floor with me." And that was the truth. While extremely skilled for his level, the higher ranks were straight up more powerful, and he knew it. Occasionally he managed to beat a wizard or an arch-mage, but most of the time, if he didn't loose, it was a close draw for the simple fact that he wasn't human.
When this Amilith made a proposal, an eyebrow raised in a typical 'Tristan' manner. "I'm listening." Albeit, Tristan wasn't one to go do jobs for people outside the scope of hunting down on earth, but who knew...If this kid really was an oracle, maybe he had a legitamite job for the Crusnik. Igneus too perked up, uncurling his neck so that his head popped out from the perch and was prone to listen, though he wasn't sitting up just yet.
Like most peoples would, Tristan's mind was running through possibilities, though loosely. He wasn't actively trying to figure this out, as there was some wierd shit in this world, even stuff he hadn't the foggiest existed.

Amilith barely managed to retain controll over himself as he began to speak, this was finally going to pay off. He would stand a chance to get one of the pieces in the set he had read about almost a year ago, finally someone who would manage. But the only sign of his excitment was a minimal twitch in his eyebrow for a second before he regained complete controll over himself.
"First of all, I'd like to give you a brief explanation about norse mythology. Odin, the king over all gods had a horse, the son of Loki. The horse name was Sleipner. Sleipner had eight legs and his teeth had each a rune engraved in it. Roughly a thousand years ago a nordic seer showed up with a set of teeth with runes on them, a kind used for divination. These were powerfull and was said to be the teeth of Sleipner that he had stolen. After the seers death they were scattered in scandinavia and once the monks came from the south they found the teeth and the story behind them. When the monks discovered their inability to destroy the teeth they scattered them further and hid them across the world."
Amilith took a short break to let it all sink in before continuing:
"Unlike Sleipner the teeth actually existed, and I'm looking for them. And I know, you rarely do commisions but I have something that you might be intrested in. The teeth I'd like you to get can be found in Russia, it's held by a large group of vampires who has yet to uncover the story behind it. I know your love for a good hunt, like Thor and the giants. But I also know that you wouldn't mind some extra knowledge. Bring me the tooth and I shall gift you with knowledge of your own choosing. The tooth is a horses tooth with the rune for F and V."

Tristan listened with a degree of earnest. He knew his own bit of mythology and was loosely familiar with what Amilith was talking about. During the first pause, Tristan felt the need to comment on the fact that the gods may very well exist, only they weren't gods, merely powerful spirits or even powerful living mages who were considered gods. In any case he didn't and merely nodded slightly, indicating he could continue.
Once the oracle finished the rest of his speech, he would find Tristan grinning. "Oracle indeed. You've by far come to the right place. I'm one of the few people who are naturally equiped to kill vampires as you might know." He paused for a moment as he thought about what he might want in return. "There are some techniques that I've been searching for, but can't find a way to perform." Another pause.
"Fine. I'll get you your runes. Where in Russia is this place?" He asked, fishing an inner coat pocket for a pad that he used to take notes for the hunt. He began sketching down the rough shape of a horses tooth by scorching the air and leaving an ash trail. "Also, the appearance of the actual runes would help incase these vampires have some other artifacts."

"It is a lovely thing to work with someone who thinks before he acts. It's rare among the strong since they tend to turn arrogant..."
Amilith gave Tristan a warm smile. He was definitley going to enjoy cooperating with someone actually smart for a change. Amilith sent one of his crystals floating over to Tristan, giving him an image of a horses tooth, the rune inscripted was the only thing that made it look different from any other. And barely that, it was simply an engraved rune that didn't look even remotley magical. The rune consisted of three lines, and looked somewhat like an F with one standing and two other lines. The difference was that the horisontal lines was positioned lower than on an F, and was diagonal instead of horisontal, pointing from right above the standing lines center and up to the right until they reached the same level as the standing one.
"This is the very first letter in the alphabet, F or V. The tooth is in northern russia, northwestern if it's of any help. There is an old woman that lives there, she can tell you more exactly where to go than I can. Look for Baba Yaga, she lives in a hut for herself up there and is an old witch of sorts. Don't mind if anyone you meet is afraid of her, that comes with the proffesion, doesn't it? Oh, and you won't need any help in finding her hut. Just walk around until you find it, trust me, you'll recognise it the moment you see it."
Amilith took a break and put his hand in his sleeve and pulled out a small leather pouch which he handed to Tristan wit the words:
"That is what she will require as payment for helping you. Give her that and all you will have to do is to go in and butcher the vampires a little bit. Get the tooth and come back here with it and I will answer one single question for you. Spend the time in russia thinking about it."

Tristan sketched down the rune as best as one could with ash. The comment about dealing with someone smart was set aside for the most part. A demon hunter who didn't ask questions about what he was hunting was either doing it entirely for the hell of it, or a total imbicile. Tristan was neither. He got paid for his work since he had no personal vendetta with demons and and the like as a generality, though he didn't much like vampires. Something that needed to kill people on a constant basis wasn't something he could get along with.
[Baba Yaga...god damn...] He thought to himself, writing down the name and the bit about the general area of Russia. He took the pouch and looked at Amilith as he said his last peice. "That's one of the reasons I don't like oracles...Always talking in riddles, meaning to or not." He commented, half to himself, half to the boy infront of him. Igneus took a sniff of the pouch and didn't really get what was so special about it...but if it would help it would help. Ah, the movie inspired moments that were never fulfilled.
"In any case, I'll set out tomorrow morning, I still have an appointment with someone around dawn but once thats done I'll leave." He pocketed the pad and bag. He had no idea what the hell the pouch was going to do, much like Igneus. When he was handed it he'd figured it was to carry the tooth, but then Amilith said his riddlish statement and got the pair of hunters confused.
Tristan turned and simply walked out of the training grounds. Something he wasn't accustomed to doing. Usually he was carrying a battered opponent to the medical wing on Igneus' back. He almost never left the same way he came.
