Well, well, well. What did we have here? Tristan had heard a certain little something about someone looking for him. And just who was looking for a fight? Narin Carter. That half demon from a few weeks back. Crazy bastard was now looking for his rematch, thinking that he could now stand up to the Crusnik. As memory would recall, Tristan finished that guy in two or three attacks. A couple of strikes before he turned into a demon, then a full powered chaos combo platter right in the kisser which, as far as Tristan knew, had annihilated the demon, or at least severely damaged it.
After the fight, Tristan had left the man laying there, and returned to class, having wasted enough time on a quick discipline lesson. Now here Tristan was once again, same spot relatively, waiting with his back against a boulder that happened to be almost exactly Tristan's height with a flat side. Coincidence? Yes, but convenience was convenience. In any case, Igneus was laying down on said boulder, the flatter part of the top, and had his eyes closed, not really interested in the match to ensue. Tristan's eyes were also closed, only he wasn't sleeping, he was meditating. He hadn't done so for a while, and he hadn't exactly contacted Narin, he was just waiting here, thinking that the guy would either get a tip off or just come looking.
Hell, Tristan was prepared to meditate all day until he heard that familiar voice, or something els coming at him so that he would get the hell out of the way. It was remarkable what one could sense while meditating as long as you paid attention and didn't just let your mind wander. Especially with abilities like Tristan's. While meditating, it was like there was a field. A surrounding shroud of energies that extended a nice ways out, in which, Tristan could feel every thing, almost see every thing, every twitch of the grass caused by the wind, even the wind itself in all its swirling currents as it whirled around various objects.
Even a change in lighting could be sensed in this current heightened state. If a cloud passed over head, Tristan could sense the light surrounding him drop, even that ever so slight bit. Perhaps there was something in this ability to see with your eyes closed...something that could be discovered and used in combat. As it stood now Tristan had no such luck past a chakra ability known as True Sight which he couldn't even use on command at the moment, but that still had nothing on this state. Fortunately for Tristan's opponents, he couldn't meditate and fight at the same time...or they'd be all sorts of fucked.

As Tristan stood calmly against the boulder, expecting Narin to come by his skills would be tested a little. As one would expect, Narin would simply walk on up to Tristan with loud steps, however this time was different. Instead Narin would simply appear a few feet away from Tristan. That specifically was his new warp ability, another spell in a long line of Aergarsths spells which had recently been unsealed in combat. Narin waited awhile to see what Tristans reactions would be. He then gave a short snigger. "I can smell your aura from miles away, it does smell good..." he said as he revealed the Shinruki, removed the energy scabbard and flung it over his shoulder.
Since it was difficult for Narin to become a full demon he would have to use only small amounts of Aergarsths body. He started now by summoning his wings and lifted into a slow and calm hover. "I must say, you dont have very honourable battle styles. Leaving me there like that." he said in a cocky manner. It was bad for Narin to do so however it mattered little since the messages of Narin wanting a rematch had spread in a wrong manner than he wanted. The way they actually had spread made it seem like Narin thought he stood a chance, however he knew he didnt. To show that in battle though was a sign of weakness. "So then, I'll last longer than our previous engagement." he said simply waiting for Tristans reactions.

As Narin approached, Tristan didn't move. Only once Narin was in front of the hunter had he moved. And that movement had his left hand straight out, and thin blue lightning sparking around the tip of his middle finger and what seemed like a metal needle sticking out of the end of the gauntlets finger. And indeed, it was a metal needle, forged with alchemy in the same way that Tristan made daggers with his armorings. The needle angled around Narins throat as he appeared in front of Tristan and in a half circle, continued past the man as though he'd just been stabbed through the throat. "Sorry to say I can't say the same about yours." He said tauntingly before his alchemy activated again and retracted the needle from around his opponents neck.
He opened his eyes and tilted his head up slightly, the sun catching the right side of his glasses and creating a vast glare across it that would give the hunter a slightly ominous appearance. Even if he hadn't been in meditation, he could track the movement of the warp with his ability to sense mana being exuded. Both from the spell and from Narins body directly. "And I left you there because of the trouble you were causing, other wise I'd have likely dropped out off at the medical wing.
As Tristan looked on at the wings, he grinned slightly, "Still relying on that demon form huh? You should have learned the first time." Just kept right on mocking. Igneus hadn't moved an inch past his torso rising and falling, and was still not interested in any thing that the two were going to be doing, especially since he could probably take any thing this Narin could dish out without so much as a scratch. Tristan on the other hand, would probably take some damage from what this guy had, that is if he could manage to land a hit.
Keeping in style of taunt, Tristan didn't even draw Shireiutz, and instead simply lept up then kicked off of the boulder behind him which rocketed him at Narin even faster than he could should he have jumped. A full force right hook, rather obvious if Tristan was moving at lower speeds, but with this pace, it would be damn hard to see coming, would sail right into Narins face. After that, Tristan would just fall to the ground as normal, watching for counters/blocks/what have you, all the while.

As Tristan prepared to move towards Narin he noticed his Aura scent which was always a little faster than the physical body to Narin. As Tristan shot forward he moved the Shinruki up and held it infront of his face, tip of the blade pointing towards the sky. Since the Shinruki was almost the width of Narins body he was able to block Tristan from doing any damage. At the same time as Tristan would have collided with the Shinruki, Narin flicked his hand and summoned two meteors to slam down at Tristan from just above his head.
Narin smirked to himself behind the blade of the Demonic Sword. "I wonder if I stand a better chance than before?" he wondered. As he did so Aergarsth spoke to his mind. "The Shinruki with me inside gives you more power. Becoming a demon will be worse for you since you know of the attacks he can do. Pay attention anyway!" Aergarsth told him.

Tristan's hit was powerful enough to be able to hurl Narin back through the air, especially since he was going for the face, but instead his fist impacted several inches away, giving him more room to push. Number one principle of striking in martial arts, strike through your target, aim for several inches behind it and your blow will have much more power. Even as he did so, his senses were at their maximum, and he could feel the Meteors above him. His even more powerful left arm flew up and the Meteors collided with his forearm and fist, which were not only armored, but tough enough not to take any damage.
They did, however, push him to the ground, which made him buckle slightly before shoving them aside. This time, there would be no blocking Tristan's strike. The hunters speed doubled with his chakra spell and his various elements gave him flight. It was a deadly combination that vastly increased Tristan's speed and gave him the appearance of flight. To those like Tristan, this type of technique would be harder to see coming, as it was not just tracking mana in a teleportation, it was straight out speed that made him seem like he was teleporting. The effect was amplified as he got faster and faster. As it stood, he was faster than a good handful of the staff with his chakra.
It really was amazing how a third class could be surpassing some of the arch-mages and masters. Albeit, he wasn't blasting past them like it was nothing, but the slower of the staff would be extremely hard pressed to keep up with this fighter. In any case, Tristan was gone, and momentarily behind narin with a full force mule kick coming in at deadly speeds It'd likely shatter ribs, even the spine, and send the man hurtling toward the ground. Even his teleportation wouldn't be able to keep up with this since he'd need the reaction time to know to activate his ability. Time which he simply wasn't given by Tristan's gratuitous speed. A couple of people were looking on by now, just to see the match that they'd heard about earlier.
If Tristan missed, he'd simply blast into the ground, landing rather harmlessly, if it did hit...he'd do the same only he'd have Narin under foot and be moving slightly slower.

Narin only saw Tristan dissappear, however the usually faster Aura scent trailed behind Tristan in a variety of colour. Basically multiple images of whoevers Aura it is. There for Narin knew the path Tristan had took. Though he still wasnt fast enough to block. As Tristan moved behind Narin he enflamed his entire body. This enflame was a little different however. Instead of the usual one firewall which surrounded Narin, he emitted a second one, which would shoot out in all directions in a ring. This one would fly through Tristan and likely burn him through the intense heat. As he did this he also placed the Shinruki up in a slightly diagonal way and began to use his flame thrower ability. It shot out of his mouth and against the blade, splitting into two waves and Narin simply manipulated them to shoot round him and hit Tristan from both sides aimed at his sides. However as he did this last attack Tristan would have landed his attack. As Narin created the flame thrower he would already be flying forward.
He would manage to pull these attacks off because of his body being enflamed. During which his body goes through a physical state change and become a harder form of molten magma. The attack by Tristan however was enough to send him flying to the floor and for chunks of his magma back to fly off like rocks.
Narin would smash to the floor. The chunks from his back would return via more magma flowing to that spot and hardening and he would then return to his normal form with a fury of smoke and steam coming off his body. "Your faster than your own Aura scent, that is fast!" he would tell Tristan before standing and facing the man again.

Tristan was hit full force by the flames from all of Narins attacks. Why though? When he was so ridiculously fast, why did they hit? Because he let them. Tristan followed Narin into the ground, making sure that the impact was severe, and then kicked off, landing several yards behind, unscathed. "I thought we went over this. Fire doesn't work on me, idiot." His hair blowing in the breeze. Almost every one at the school knew Tristan mainly used fire. Hell, one of his most deadly attacks was making a twenty foot long pillar of practically solid white fire around his sword and attacking with it. The heat generated by that attack alone would scorch the flesh off his arm whilst holding his blade if he wasn't totally immune to fire.
He disappeared once again, or did he? Tristan blasted straight toward Narin this time. If one was directly infront or directly behind Tristan while he was moving like this, you could see him, if only for a split second before he either changed course or was on top of you, but you could indeed see him. Becoming linear, Tristan blasted straight into Narin before he could even raise his sword, and would smash his right knee into the mans sternum. Not only would this effectively remove all of the air from the mans chest, but he'd be extremely hard pressed to breathe after ward since he'd rather efficiently smashed an air way.
To add to the force, Tristan's hands would pull at the base of Narins neck, moving him down as the knee came up, which amplified the force. From the average Muy Thai fighter, this attack could generate 2.5 tons of force, enough to lift a car. From a fighter as powerful as Tristan, coupled with the speed he was moving it, this strike could put over ten tons of force into a single point, pressing into Narins chest. The fight would most likely be over after this, and he would need a serious stay in the medical wing.

The set of attacks by Tristan were just a blur for Narin and just like Tristan had planned on doing Narin had been severely hurt. The impact was infact so severe that Narins ribs had crushed into his lungs and punctured them. As the air began to escape his body the Shinruki began to flash white in Narins hand and an orangey red orb escaped it and entered Narin. It appeared that the severity of his condition had enabled Narin to call upon his demon form, or just that Aergarsth had gathered the power to summon himself into Narin. As the orb entered Narin through his chest his body enflamed, charred and then began to grow, as did the Shinruki. As Narin grew into full size he stood.
The Shinruki had also doubled in size. As it was just short of the width of Narin normally, it was now short of the width of the demon which made for one huge sword. Aergarsth didnt hesitate and he shot the sword down at Tristan. The force sent a crack across the floor, made the ground shake and emitted a wave of blood energy out in all directions. This wasnt fire energy, just pure normal energy which would be harmful to near enough anything. The demon didnt expect to last all too longer than he did.

Success....Or not. "Again with this demon form? People really over use their alternate forms." Tristan sighed, standing idle and looking up at the huge fire demon. Normally, he might have blocked, but something told him to just get the fuck out of the way, and right that thing was. Tristan's speed exploded again and he was in the air high above Narin. His 'Aura Scent' as the man had put it, would show Narin exactly where the hunter was, but it was already too late.
As much as Tristan might hate repeating himself, the attack had worked before, and it would again. Whipping out his handguns, His body held itsself up with flight and angled him directly downwards. Soon he moved back, or up as case proved, "Chaos blast!" And two balls of energy built at the barrels of his peices. Charging more quickly than last time, each energy became four inches wide and the beams were off, rocketing right for the demons head in chaotic glory. The explosion would be huge, which was why Tristan was moving off, and it would likely do the same that it had in the first match, demolishing the demon while leaving Narin relatively unharmed, from the blast at least.
Becoming stationary again, Igneus was now at his side, hovering in place, only flapping his wings to stay loosely aloft. Tristan kept his guns pointed right where Narin had been incase that blast hadn't been enough. Tristan doubted he'd need more to put an end to the demon form like last time, but it never hurts to be sure.

The demon watched as a flash of multi coloured after images of Tristan stuck across the sky. He followed that path right the way up to see the hunter in its new position. Then there was the two guns and that one same attack which disabled Narin demon transformation abilities. It was a little odd how last time his powers were lost and this time they were regained. The demon shot a smile across its large firery face. He had a low amount of energy however the amount he did have left enabled one last warp, though he would be stuck with simple physical attacks after that. As the orbs came towards the demon he vanished, reappearing slightly above Tristan. He would then smash his sword down again in an attempt to cleave right through the man or at least damage him a little.

Tristan's eyes shot open before returning to normal. He'd forgotten Narin teleported for a second, and because of that, he didn't track the movement. The blade came down and a silvery glinting shell appeared around Tristan's torso. The attack was powerful, enough to cause a severe impact to the barrier which is what caused it to become visible like that.
A grunt and Tristan was flying toward the ground, spinning around and around. Igneus had flown away from Narin not only to get away, but to avoid Tristan's counter attack, which would come momentarily. The hunter pounded back first into the ground, landing the way he did he would have some serious pain and trouble moving for a while but the barrier had reduced the impact so he'd be fine overall. The guns were still obediently in place along with Tristan's arms, and two more balls formed at the barrels, with a slightly greater force, size, and velocity that came from Tristan's reactionary state, the opposing beams of element shot off, right for the huge fire demons chest.
Even if he blocked, it would likely blow through his sword and hit him, demolishing the demon form once again. Tristan likely ended the fight this time, but he wouldn't be trying to get up for a while if he could help it.

This second blasr did hit the demon. Aergarsth left side jolted forward, then his right as the two explosions went off within him. The demon began to fade away, one partical at a time until it was just the boy falling through the sky. He hit the floor and the giant Shinruki shrunk back to size. It fell to the floor and bounces from the hilt to the tip of the blade before finally coming to a rest. It looked rather lifeless until the orange orb re-entered it. The first blast may have disabled Narins abilities however that was when the Shinruki was formed and although it appeared to be a weaker form of Narins powers it housed a lot of energy. Since the Shinruki was already there no more damage could be done to Narins powers.
Aergarsth would be injured however and would take some time to recover. Narin was a bit different however. He was already healing. The blast had damaged Narins body also and he now had two rather large holes in him. The molten magma began to pour out of his body to the holes and they filled out and hardened forming the same black charr like substance Aergarsth's body was made from. As it came to settle his skin gradually came back and he appeared to be normal. He was unconscious but his breathing showed that he was injured. He still had a punctured lung which would be able to fix itself if Narin had some magical energy, unfortunately he had worn all of it out in the fight and he lay there struggling.
The Shinruki simply returned to its blue energy scabbard and disappeared from the hunters view even though it was still in the same spot, though standing and hovering rather than laying there.

Breathing laboradly, Tristan's arms dropped to his sides. [Well...He did get tougher since the last fight....Damn apprentices...they get strong quicker than most for some reason.] Tristan thought to himself, watching Igneus circle down. He heard the thud of Narin's body hitting the ground, then of the sword. The way the blade landed didn't seem normal. Most swords built like that landed blade first due to the drag that the guard and pommel caused. But Tristan had more important things to deal with than the physics of his opponents sword when the fight was already finished...getting up for instance.
Groaning a bit, Tristan sat up and put Ebony and Ivory back into their holsters on the sides of his vest. It took him a bit to stand up because of the way he'd had to situate his blade in order to sit, but he was good in a minute. Igneus hovered next to him and awaited indication that he'd need to teleport. Tristan gave the indication with an idle thought and Igneus flew over to Narin and transformed. Trudging over, Tristan hauled fire boy up onto his shoulder and began climbing Igneus' left foreleg.
Now, Tristan must have been tired...'cause he didn't even notice that the sword was no longer there as he plopped himself onto Igneus' back for the trip to the med wing. In any case, Igneus' magic activated and the clear image of the schools hospital. Then poof, five tons of dragon and a bit over four hundred pounds of man dissapeared from the Training grounds so appear silently in the med wing where the nurses were waiting to give the demon host a good once over.
