Ziare slowly came too and realized there was a bed beneath her and she hurt like hell. Her whole body hurt even her mind seemed bruised. What happened? she asked herself.
You were stupid and foolish. Armenius's voice shot through her mind making her moan out loud.
Well if you're still around I must be all right. she shot back and closed herself off to his voice. It litterally hurt to speak with him right now.
Her eye lids fluttered open but the light was too bright and she clenched them shut opening and closing them briefly to get her eyes used to the light. How long had she been out? Finally used to the light she opened her eyes. She felt like hell she ran her fingers over the scar on her brow and knowing how sore they were without touch did not even try the stomach. She looked and to her right sat Joseph.
"Hey..." she said weakly her voice still groggy.

Joseph had bee resting his eyes, but that was it. He certainly hadn't dozed off! Regardless when he heard Ziare's voice he stretched out his back and looked over. "Well good morning sleepy head. You've been zonked out a couple of hours." he explained with a smile, "You know you really didn't have to heal me like that. I'm a tough fellow, I could have managed. At any rate, how are you feeling?"

Ziare smiled warmly.
"I hurt...everywhere." she said groggily. It was still very hard to keep her eyes open. "I healed you because you looked like you were tired and running low on energy."
She coughed a bit her body hurt and was feeling weak. Her mind hurt. It even hurt to blink.
"I'm glad to see you're all right."
The attending nurse-mage came in...
"Well I see we're awake. Shame on you for letting your mana run dry. Don't you know you need that girl!" The woman with gray hair stood over her with a jar of some kind of green liquid. "You'll be drinking this over the night here, yes here missy you've gone and drained yourself to the point that this nasty tasting liquid is needed." The woman grinned as if she was happy Ziare would be suffering here all night.
"And you how could you let her go and do that have you no sense?" she said turning on Joseph and handing Ziare a spoon full of the green liquid. Ziare swallowed gagging and lay back down giving Joseph a "I'm sorry" look.

Jyo walked in with a tray of food for Ziare.
"Oh you're awak. Good. I heard about you being brought here. But I only heard about it nearly ten minutes ago." He said and walked over giving a poilte nod to midnight and then setting the food down on the bedside table.
"So how are you feeling?' He asked leaning down to be more level with her.

Joseph saw Jyo enter and gave him a nod, hoping the guy wouldn't be too mad he put such a number over on his girlfriend. However, the gunmages attention was drawn back to the nurse who was pestering him with how he could have aloud her to drain herself. He threw up his hands in a motion of innocence. "Hey I was having an empathic fit, I couldn't exactly speak at the time. Besides, when I came out I gave her some of my own energy just in case." he pleaded his case laughing nervousely. Once the older lady was satisfied with her pestering she made her way over to some other students who had just entered. Joseph's own injuries weren't all that terrible. Just some minor bruises, otherwise he was just tired. He had to take a lot of pain thanks to that seal break.

Ziare smiled warmly yet groggily as Jyo entered. He was always so kind and taking care of her.
"I'm all right..." she said her voice still rough. "I just hurt everywhere but I'll be fine."
She turned back to Midnight...
"Do not worry it was not your fault it was my choice. You looked like you needed it and so I gave my last bit to you." she said wearily. "It was a good fight. I learned a lot. Like how easily I can be targeted and now with my bond through Armenius as well. I guess you won...congrats."
She closed her eyes again for only a moment then opened them again reaching for Jyo's hand.
"Thank you both for worrying so much."

Joseph chuckled at the girls comment. Standing up from his chair he stepped next to her bed. "Hey, Talbot wouldn't like me very much if I didn't worry about her sister." he said to her with a wink, "...And as for winning. Your dragon probably would've finished me off after the angel hit me with her staff. So, let's call it a draw." The gunmage looked up at Jyo, his lips arced in a half smile, "Sorry about banging up your girlfriend so bad. Hope there's no hard feelings."

Jyo grabbed Ziare's hand when she reached for his and rand the fingers of his other han through her hair. He looked over at Joseph.
"No. it's a part of training. And you made sure to bring her back here to recover. Kinda hard to be upset with you after that." He said

Ziare looked at Jyo with love enjoying the feeling of his hand on hers and his other running through her hair.
"Thank you both for worrying about me and coming to see me." she said looking at each in turn. "I don't want to keep you from other things though..." she broke off.
She turned to Joseph...
"You look like you could use some sleep." she smiled weakly.
She squeezed Jyo's hand hoping he would stay with her a bit longer. He didn't realize how much strength he gave her just for being her caring about her.

Jyo gave a nod in agreement to Ziare's comment. He indicated to the couch in the room.
"Get some rest. You can even stay in here and do so. I'll be with her for a while. Something I should be doing." he said with a smile and slide a chair from nearby to sit next to Zair.

Joseph smiled at the offer for a nap. "Nah, I don't want to encroach on your love time. You two have a nice quiet moment, I'm heading off to my dorm. There's a paladin near me who can give me a good rejuvination potion. Later you two, and thanks again for the information Ziare." he said with a wave and walked off. He really was greatful...now to put it to use attracting Talbot.

"Okay then. make sure to get all rested and refreshed before anything else though okay?" Jyo said giving a wave and then setteld in to have soem peacful quiet time with Ziare.
"He guess what. No classes for today and tomorrow. I don't have to leave you until you get up and about." he said

Ziare smiled and squeezed Jyo's hand.
"You don't have to stay. I don't want to burden you." she said weakly.
"Though I must admit I wouldn't mind spending a couple days with you. But I would prefer it was not here...is there any way we could go to mine or your room to rest?" She whispered. "I hate being here."

"Burden. What burden. I get to be with you." He said grinning. Then Ziare asked if they could go somewhere else.
"Well my room is a bit of a mess. mabey to your's I'll be right back." he said giving her a quick kiss on the forehead then walking out of the room
He then walked back in a few minutes later.
"The healer says it's okay to take you to your room." he said and then gently picked her up.
"Would you like a lift?" he asked smiling.
