Stumbling, a Crusnik Tristan made his way into the recovery wing, a half, if at all, conscious demon over his shoulder. He'd had to use a wing to bust the door open since he couldn't move much els. "What the hell happened to you?" Tristan's nurse friend demanded, almost laughing at the deplorable condition Tristan was in. She saw the lower body of Raiden over Tristan's shoulder and she almost laughed again, realizing that they'd gotten a bit too serious about the whole thing.
"Yeah, yeah. This little basterd's caused me more iritation and pain than any one els on this damn rock...." He said, trudging over to one of the beds where he tossed Raiden's limp, and possibly unconscious body. He stumbled back and fell flat, his wings not supporting him, and simply digging grooves in the tile. He could still feel the iritating tingle of the last remnants of lightning...or it was just his nerves reconnecting...either way. "Get me some blood before I pass out." He mumbled. When she asked, "Vampire?" He grunted an affirmative.

Raiden barely asleep and barely awake, was silent through out the whole trip to the recovery wing. Even if he wanted to talk, he couldn't. He was just to tired. Using up all that energy as he did was the really problem for him. He had to hand it to the hunter, he was one tough bastard. Tristian was just about the toughest opponent he's faced ever...next to AiAiAi who practically wiped the floor with Raiden.
Raiden grunted in pain as he was thrown on the bed. It would be obvious now that he was awake as well. Damn...he could be a little easier on me...urgh... A nurse of too came over to Raiden and asked him where it hurts. Silent as ever Raiden just lifted an arm and pointed where ever the pain was in the most. They really didn't need to ask that question at least...I mean as anyone can tell, he must be hurting all over...

Raiden's nurse had to carefully navigate Tristan's sprawled out body in order to ask the demon where it hurt. Tristan's came back a minute later with a packet of blood the size of a husky. "Here ya go, we get donations from vampires now, so drink up." She handed him a wide tube that looked more like a chug tube from a kegger. " Just put it in a bucket and open the top...My wings will take care of the rest..." He was too tired to drink it by way of mouth, so his wings would have to absorb it.
Raiden's nurse gave up on trying to walk past Tristan and took to levitating, getting the demon close to twenty pounds of bandages, pain killers, and an I.V. tap to boot. She began healing him with magic as well, but the pain killers would help. Shit was stronger than ritalin. We're talking the crack cocaine of pain killers here. It wasn't all that un common, especially among the higher ranks.
Tristan's nurse, who's name was actually Mey, odd spelling right?, did what Tristan told her to do, and plopped the bag of vampire blood in a huge bucket, and cut open the top with a tiny flex of her massive mana storages. The blood slowly rose, and perculated through the air, down to Tristan's wings, to speed up as he began to feel better.

Raiden laid there in bed and the nurse's came back with all these medical stuff. The only thing Raiden recongized was bandages and that was it. All this other stuff was foreign. Raiden had to admit though...this I.V. stuff...felt good~
Raiden as soon as Raiden was able he stood up so that the nurses can apply bandages around his waist. While that was being done Raiden glance over at Tristian. Raiden actually had no idea this guy was a vampire of some sort. Stories of vampire didn't reach Japan for a while back then.
Being a vampire like that could probably vouche for the fact that Tristian is so damn tough...

Ten seconds...Twenty...Thirty...A minute passed and the blood was flowing like the Mississippi right into Tristan's wings until finally, the rest of the blood rose in a huge, perculating glob, and crashed into the huge wings. A slam of the elbow and Tristan was in the air. His wings twisted around slightly, then folded back, and the Crusnik was up right. "Damn, nothing like some good ol' Vampire blood." He said, now on his feet.
He'd still need a good rest, but he looked now, like he could go ten rounds with tyson. A hundred if the guy was a vampire. "Fun fight huh?" He said sarcastically to Raiden. He took his blade off, having to navigate it around his wings. He would still be exhausted if he changed back, so he would spend some time as a Crusnik. Spreading back his extra apendages, Tristan took a seat on the bed he'd collapsed by.
Raiden might need some hospital stay, but Tristan was good to go. Though he'd probably not be getting up in the morning....

Raiden looked over as Tristian made his sarcastic comment about their fight. It truly was a crazy fight. Most of all it was grudgingly long as well. Raiden was good on the experience and all...but he rather not go through a long battle like that one.
Raiden slowly sat up in his bed and smiled for a split second before returning to that same old neutral look of his. Raiden was a okay for walking around by now. That good old demon regeneration always worked wonders...no matter how slow it is...
"T-Thanks for the fight s-sir..." he said as he tried to squeeze out as many words are he could.

The Crusnik almost laughed, "Sir? Being a demon theres a chance your older than I am. Japanese right? Oni?" Tristan commented and mused. Not only did the boy look like a typical humanoid Japanese demon, it was even in his name. Raiden loosly translated to thunder god. Plus those substitutions. It was rumored as a ninja technique, though Tristan had never believed it as it was impossible. 'Course, the impossibility factor went out the damn window once he staked his claim in magic.
"Even if I am older, a 'sir' isn't needed. Even if I'm a higher rank." He really just didn't like the sound of it. Aquaintances might call him sir or salute him, for regognition as a hero of Vichy, but he wouldn't tolerate it of his friends. "Take one of those pain killers honey. With water and don't drink any alcohol for at least six hours." Mey said, picking up the bucket and empty blood bag. The demon's pain would almost instantaneously be alleviated once he downed the tiny blue pill. "The bottle on the table." Tristan would add, if Raiden didn't know what the pain killers were.
Hopefully he wouldn't also need instruction on opening it and simply taking a pill...instead of trying to swallow the entire bottle. There were some people who were just that ignorant.

Raiden nodded in compliance to Tristian's assumption of him being very old despite his appearance. The old reason Raiden looks the way he does is thanks to longevity as a demon. Of course Raiden would be full of wisdom on par to his age...but being sealed away and put into a deep sleep would quell that assumption. Raiden had to admit though, Tristian was good on decifering one's appearance and style. All that information on Raiden was exactly right. "Oni...correct..." he said speaking up some. Never heard anyone refer to me that way in a long time...
Raiden head turned as the nurse spoke to him. Question marks shot up in his mind as well as a questioning look on his face. Raiden caught the water part...but the pain killers was another story. Raiden looked around for them, but couldn't figure it out. Thankfully Tristian pointed them out. Raiden picked up the bottle and stared at it for a bit. This is rather...big... Raiden lifted it up and placed it to his mouth with out a second thought. Sadly...Raiden was that ignorant kind of guy...

[Oh boy....] Tristan thought, as he'd just been thinking that Raiden couldn't be one of those dopes. But lo and behold, he was. He must have been transported to this time or something, only explanation for his general cluelessness of most things. "In the bottle, bright boy." He grinned. The demon's nurse plucked the bottle from his hand and popped it open, dispensing a single blue speck, hardly the size of a baby's nail.
Mey walked over with a glass of water, having done away with the used stuffs, and both nurses handed Raiden their holdings. Both would walk away and return to their business before Tristan stumbled in the door, leaving the two to talk. "So how'd you get here? I can't imagine you'd be an old school demon, this ignorant of common things, and have lived through the ages. I can only guess a temporal warp-time teleportation, or a sealing, if people do have the ability to seal beings inside of things."
Tristan had seen demons banished and slain, but he never saw a confirmed report of a sealed demon, though in Japanese lore, that was mostly all that ever happened to a demon...Sealed and left to rot for eternity.

Raiden felt the bottle plucked from he hand immediately by the nurse. I did something wrong Like Raiden would know... Raiden glanced at the small blue pill and finally did what was supposed to. Heh...the funny thing is that Tristian just saved Raiden from an unintentional over dosage. Since that was done Raiden felt a hell of a lot better than before .
Raiden turned and looked at Tristian again in response to his question. "W-Well...sealing would be correct then," he said. "I was sealed off in t a shrine bound by chain. You could say the method that was use on was more of a deep sleep at best," he said surprised by the fact he was able to say so much.

The hunters arms had crossed them selves as he'd asked the question, and he leaned back slightly as the response came in. "Well then, that answers that question." He said simply in his Crusnik voice. He still didn't understand why his voice was changed so...it wasn't just deeper, it was harsher...if that was possible.
"The question to follow that remains: How old are you, then?" He asked, a strangely fair eyebrow raised. Much to a pleasurable surprise, Tristan's glasses had survived intact, and gave the room that ever so familiar orange tint. The glasses themselves had a thin layer that consisted of some unknown element within the lenses, that combined with the coloration protected Tristan from all sight distorting blasts. The color halted glare, and the film rendered even a flash bang, going off in Tristan's face, useless. These were the type of glasses that could be used to stare into the coronal layer of the sun without any atmospheric protection at all.
This had been an interesting day, and would continue to be so, as Tristan never really held a steady conversation with any one.

Raiden was quite alright with the streamline of questions Tristian threw at him. It never bothers Raiden to answer questions. It would be nice to return questions, but Raiden quiet nature quells that open curiosity of his.
There was one thing that was getting to Raiden. It was that deep and very harsh voice of Tristian's. Raiden could read Tristian's body langauge to see he wasn't mad or annoyed, but his voice was completely throwing Raiden off. Easy to say that the voice just does not match the body. Raiden wasn't complaining though...kind of... Harsh voices always had Raiden pegged since his ears never really takes a liking to that kind of voice. Raiden could tell though, Tristian was a good guy at heart.
"M-My age?" he said speaking up some. Raiden thought about for only a short period of time. There wasn't much to think about really. Of course Raiden knew how old he was. Thanks the that Second Sight class and the many book the academy has, Raiden was able to search up the era he was originally living in. Most likely he found out it was the early Edo period. Adding all that up, that would make Raiden just about 400 years old if he's correct.
"I'm just about 4-400 years old..." he said as he waited for Tristian's response. It would probably be hard to believe maybe. Raiden in appearance alone looks to be 16 to 17 years old. No facial hair has popped up on his face even when he reached that age...so maybe it would be hard to believe he's even 15...
Can you say...prepubesent?

Tristan's white haired head nodded. "I believe it. Demon's and Vampire's age more gracefully than human's. Crusnik's as well. My normal apearance won't change much, even when I'm as old as you." That prospect didn't reveal why the only other remaining Crusnik, who was likely even older than Raiden here at four hundred-eighty three, looked to be in his sixties, but it didn't really matter.
Nor did it reveal why Tristan looked to be in the mid-thirties, his actual age. But as stated, it didn't really matter. As long as Tristan was large and had weight to throw around, he was content enough. "So, around the Edo period then? Tell me about it." He said next, unlike Raiden, Tristan's curiosity was voiced...he was just like that.
Wanna know something? Then find out.

Raiden frankly wasn't surprised by Tristian's response to his age. Raiden didn't exact know Tristian wasn't a vampire, but not a human either. Sort of like in between maybe...or even above the both of them. It was really kind of strange and fascinating at the same time.
Raiden recieve the next question which is probably the most enjoyable one he's recieved. He felt like an old man reminiscing on the old days. Well, on the contrary Raiden pratically is an old man pretty much.
"Hmm...the Tokugawa period...I mean Edo..." he said in a thinking state. "Well, that was the time of early modern age Japan. To me it was a really weird time period. I wasn't into it much, but I remember these westerners coming for visits ever so often," he said. "All these new things like Math and Human Anatomy popped up. What was most interesting was the introduction of firearms..." he said, "I think I rather stick to a sword though any day."

Tristan grinned at that last comment. "As you saw, arms have been upgraded a few thousand times from those old flint lock rifles." He pulled out ivory, his left side .45 and pulled back the slide, cocking back the hammer and popping out a single bullet. Catching the bullet, "Now a days, you can get so many different types of guns they seem to have never ending usefullness." He held up the metalic slug with the steel jacket and shell, the round itself glistened with its enchantment.
He hit the clip button and the case slid out of the bottom of the grip. Putting the bullet back into the top of the clip, "I was trying to use silver bullets on you before...Obviously they didn't work, but I haven't come across too many Oni, so I had to test them." He slid the clip back in and placed the gun on the bed to his left. Back to the questioning, "I'm kind of surprised Oni were still around during the Tokugawa Shogunate. I'd have figured they'd been taken out during that time....Who seal you up any ways?" Yep, more curiosity.
