Talbot paused for a moment, "The attributes last as long as the taste remains in one's mouth. No effect is permanent, they wear off and one may only use up to five a day. Exceeding such, would be most unwise."
Then she continued to walk.

"Unwise. Really? Why?"
He hungered for knowledge, he lusted for knowledge. Anything, everything. If he could use it, he wanted it. They were some interesting candies alright, they added on to one's attributes. That would be most helpful in a pinch, yes. Though it was unlikely Relo'Quath would get into a pinch, he'd always be prepared. Not a boy scout, but a psychopathic demon. A little on the rough side, and extremely paranoid. Thus prepared.
"DAMN FLOORS AHAHAHAHGUE!"
He looked a little sad after yelling, then proceeded to feel anger at the floor. Which was... irrational, proving him crazy. He just wanted to pour oil onto the ground here, and set it on fire. That would be more homely.
"How much farther?"

Talbot stopped infront of a simple shop with big glass windows and unlocked the door. Stepping in she smiled, "Come inside, you should be far more comfortable in here."
She set her scythe aside, going to the kitchen and catching a zombie cake, scolding it and putting it back in the oven. Her elemental mice familiars all greeted her and then continued as they were told to previously. Watering plants, heating the oven, cooling the candies, and of course, making sure the candies didn't stick to the pan.

What an interesting residency. Not only was it a home, but it was a candy shoppe, with little mice familiars following orders, carrying out menial tasks. Wait... did she think he was on the same level of those familiars? Did she think that she could control him like she did the familiars? Hardly not. Not even the research division could control him.
"AAAAH! THE MICE! THE MIIIIICE! They're looking at me. As if they know!"
A bit of idiocy goes a long long way. This was normal behavior for him, as he'll be completely calm in the mind, but his body was just a marionette to him, and he used it how he wished. Putting off illusions of complete idiocy, and psychotic behavior. It was all what one like him would orchestrate.
He knew, he pretended not to know.
