(Wolf sighed as he saw the card. Her fate of Death was still to come. So saving her from the water just made Death himself wait alittle longer. He grabed the card that Talbot held in her hand and placed the card back into his deck holder. Wolf slowly got up and walked over to the fish , grabing two off his sword and speared the two fish with his left claw. Walking back to the fish, he placed his left hand over the fire to cook the two fish. Wolf couldn't feel anything, so it was alright for him to do something like this.)
Talbot.. I will help you fight the card's fate.

She watched with interest as he cooked the fish with his golden claw. She examined his expression- he felt no pain but the action made her cringe. The little familiar on her shoulder did the same- feeling the same reaction- the small creature leapt to Wolf's shoulder and watched the cooking from his shoulder- the view being far better. Talbot smirked- well that was interesting.
Talbot.. I will help you fight the card's fate.
She was taken aback by this, she looked at him and smiled, "I would not turn down the kindness of my savior."

(Wolf laughed alittle on the idea of being a savior to anyone. It was nice to hear that, but he was no savior, just a guy that does what needs to be done to help out others in need. Wolf looked over at the little mouse that was on his shoulder, with his right index finger, Wolf rubed it's little head.)
If your wondering... why can't I feel the burning pain in my left arm... it do to the golden arm piece. I got them when I used the Joker card for the first time. The golden parts or the Joker armor as I like to call it, shields me from pain. But that also means I can feel things like fire or how cold something is or even a skin of a person. It's a curse that I live with.
(Soon Wolf stoped rubing the small mouse and moved his left hand out of the fire and pulled out on of the fish off the claw with his right hand. With that fish, Wolf gave it to Talbot to eat.)
Eat up, it will be a long night.
(Wolf, with his right hand graped his deck out and layed them on the ground so he could look up one card. He spoted the 5 of Club, with his right hand Wolf picked it up and threw it infront of him. After that he removed the last fish with his right hand.)
5 of Club, Ice.
(The card placed itself on Wolf's left arm and the armor started to make steam. The ice was cooling the left arm down from the heat. As it was cooling down, Wolf started to eat his fish.)

Purring, Zula pressed her nose against Wolf's cheek in thanks for the petting and sprang back to Talbot's shoulder. Chittering and requesting some of the fish. Talbot, who took what was offered to her, found a new sensation as the smell of the cooked fish filled her senses. She tore into it without question or qualm from lack of spices or seasonings in any form, she ate them guts and all (excluding the fat)- not caring only intent was to fill her stomach. Her stomach sung and her mind slowly turned as she made quick work of the fish she took- though she did remember to share with the little elemental mouse. Tossing the bones into the fire- the natural fat on the fish sizzled and popped, strengtheing the fire. Talbot focused gray eyes on Wolf once again, "How can you call it a curse? It seems more like a gracious gift to me. Something to protect- who knows maybe it covered your weakest point."

(Wolf ate what was left of the fish he had in his right hand. But he heard what Talbot said about the armor pieces. There was nothing really good about them. Wolf threw the bone that was left to the side and looked at Talbot. Soon the 5 of Club was done doing it's thing and flew off the left arm and back into the bottem of the deck holder. Wolf lifted his left arm up, closing and opening his left hand about 5 times. It was cooled down, but he couldn't feel that. He just knew it.)
Good.... thing...
(His left hand placed itself in Talbot's hair and slowly moved his hand out, but he couldn't feel Talbot's hair at all.)
You know that you are alive if you can feel. But the armor... I can't even feel your hair.

She wasn't repulsed or repelled but anything with such advancements cannot be so terrible- even if it takes away your sence of touch in one arm. He still had all his other senses- was he so unhappy with the loss of feeling in one part of him he no longer thanked the Goddess for what he did have. Talbot looked away, but did not turn away,
"Sometimes it's best not to be able to feel anything."

(Wolf looked at his left hand and made a fist. He knew he made a fist, but couldn't feel the fingers. He sighed a bit as he had this arm for awhile and what Talbot said might have been true. Feeling nothing is better than feeling anything at all. Wolf thought on what Talbot said as he got up off the floor and over to a random spot on the wall. He leaned his back on the wall and sat on the floor again with his arms crossed.)
You knowm, you might be right.

She continued her train of thought, "But is touch really so important? You have the other hand and all your other senses. Why is touch so important?"
Slowly standing, Talbot stood near a far window watching the snow twirl and dance, "People are dangerous creatures- we don't know when to stop and we have a tendancy to not know when to do something. Each perspecive is different depending on the person- "
Turning gray eyes on him she asked, "Is it so important to you to have have not even half a sense taken away when you still have all the others?"

Hm... we are some dangerous creatures. But...
(Wolf uncrossed his arms and looked at his left arm. An with his hand he made a fist and opening his fist. He did it a few times as if he could feel it closing and opening. But like always, there was nothing. As if it was air. He knew other parts of his body like the right chest at had some of the gold armor, that was the same for the lower half if his right leg.)
But, what about you? You seem that the feeling of touch is something that is not needed.

Talbot nodded, "I still have my other senses- even if they were all taken away I would still celebrate what what I had- being stuck in the darkness with no sound and no tune is not so bad once you've learned your mind can be just as good a friend as someone else."
She stared out at the snow, You never know how many riddles in life you can solve with just one moment of pure darkness can change everything-
She looked back at him, her gray eyes glimmering alomost angrily, "You shouldn't regret the loss of touch- you should enjoy and celebrate what senses you have."

Hmm... I see. I guess I should. But who knows.
(Wolf sighed as he looked over at Talbot. He saw her eyes that almost looked like she was mad about what Wolf said. He smiled a bit as he looked at his left hand. Having no pain does have it's upsides. With the feeling gone in his left arm, he was able to cook some meals for himself.)
You know, you shouldn't look angery. My mother said the worst thing that a man can do is make a woman sad or anger. So I am sorry if I upset you.

Blinking, Talbot looked away and back outside, she couldn't honestly remember much about her mother- she was glad he knew something about his.
"I am not mad- nor do I wish to be. I simply think you overlook your other senses for the sake of the loss of a little feeling in your arm."
She continued to watch the snow, remembering the joy she had experienced before she had fallen into the icy water, she shivered and moved back to the fire. Staring into the flames she nodded slightly, "Will it ever stop snowing?"

Who knows. Nothing is unsure in the world. Life does give twist and turns. An sometime the twist and turns comes out bad or good.
(Wolf lowered his left hand down and looked at the fire as if it was dancing around. The snow was still going on and no one knew when it might stop. He looked over at Talbot for a sec and felt that she might have had a hard time in her life. But sitting here wasn't going to make the time pass faster.)
So, tell me something about yourself. I thought this might pass sometime.

Without looking up, Talbot said softly, "I am a Wednesday Child, this is the path I follow. It is why the card I draw suits me, though I ask to prevent it."
The flame lept and danced as she went over the many events in her life- so much not to say and so much more she wanted to tell- but knew better than to do so. She smiled, "I love cooking."

Cooking? I would love to cook one day. I guess my left arm would be a good fring pan.
(Wolf raised his left arm and laughed a bit as he tried to lighten up the mood. Hoping there would be a happier mood than before. Soon he lowered his left hand down and smiled over at Talbot and thought it was his turn to tell her something about him.)
As for me, I'm the weakest magic user in my family.
