Talbot laughed at the frying pan joke, the sound of windchimes filled the small shack.
"I can always teach you to cook- I wouldn't mind. Though I would prefer you use a pan."
She nodded slightly, "It's not how much power you have it's how you use it."
Zula hoppped around, squeeking merrily, scaling the walls and sitting on the windowsil, hopping up and down as the snow picked up and fell in mass.

I see, well I guess that would fall into my deck.
(Wolf flipped though the deck with his right hand and he picked one out of random. He slowly looked at the deck and sighed as he knew what is was, the Joker. With the snow still falling, Wolf thought it would be alright to tell Talbot about more out his deck and where it came from.)
Well, speaking about my deck. There is a story behind them. Over 1000 years ago, a man with great power sealed over 46 power monsters and demons. He even sealed what some say the 4 house men. After sealing them, two decks came to be. The Summon Deck and the Spell Deck. But then, a powerful demon called the Joker came to steal the two decks but failed and ended up being sealed. The Summon Deck house the demons and monsters that was sealed and the Spell Deck house their power.
I hold the Spell Deck and the Summon Deck is at home, where it would be safe. An rumors about the Joker card is this... "If your fate is the Joker, then you will be sealed as the new Joker". After hearing that, I don't seem to mind at all.

A spell that carries through the generations symbolized the embodyment of new life in formation every single time someone became the Joker- she smiled, The theory behind that rumor is more beautiful and complex than anyone could ever guess.
She leaned back, "I have nothing that impressive to compare- nor do I want to get insto a mindless game like that- I guess I'm kind of boring, I just like cooking and training."

So I am guessing you are a cook teacher? Teaching the young minds is a wonderful thing.
(There was a smile on his face as he thought about childen being happy. It was weird for him to think of such thing. But it was good to smile about happy things. He then looked over at the little mouse that was running around. It was nice to know that there was three in the small place insteed of two.)
Sometime I wish for a life that. Something small, a quit life.

Talbot snorted, "If someone asked me to teacha cooking class at this academy I assure you the food would be far better than what it is now."
She was still bitter and it most liekly showed but the words of a simpler life inspired her to answer softly, "If life was meant to be white picket fences and happy families- it would be wouldn't it? We must all make our own."

White picket fences and happy families? Hm..... that is a dream I am willing to die for. A happy little family.
(Wolf gave a small laugh on the thought. A happy little life that was calm and quit. But he knew that goal in life was something that he could never get his hands on at all. After all, if the rumors were true, then Wolf was next in line to be the Joker.)
What about you? If the Ace of Spade never came, what kind of life would you live?

She bowed her head in thought- she smiled softly looking back up, her gray eyes lost in her wish from long ago, "If that card truely does mean I'm destined to die- and I escaped its fortune, I wish I coul dlive in a little home with plenty to do. Cooking, cleaning- children to watch over."
She smiled slightly, "Just to live a normal life I suppose- "

(Wolf smile and laughed a bit on what Talbot wanted. It seemed like a life that he would enjoy every much in his life. A little home with only house hold things to do. A true way of living to him. It was funny that in away the two had some kind of the same goal. A normal life to live out.)
A normal life. That sounds like heaven to me. But we never know what heaven is really like. I guess for us, a normal life is heaven. A quit place with now worries at all.
(The thought in his head of a little house was something nice to think about. A litttle house with no worries.)

"Bah!" Talbot barked loudly, "Don't be ridiculous! What good is a life without worry?"
Talbot shook her head, laying on the ground, feeling slightly woozy- not tired, only dizzy. "I life without worry would mean you never did anything. You couldn't have a nice home without worrying about the upkeep, couldn't have a family because without worry they'd all get ill and what would you care- no meals to be cooked for them, you just don't worry about it. The newborn'll be fine- they don't need to eat right? BAH! Not to mention the land you own or live on! Without worry and care, your land would either become overgrown with deadly plants and dangerous critters running about or become a giant dustbowl."
She looked at him not having layed and turned her back on him, "What good is a life without worry?"

(Wolf just laughed a bit on what Talbot said, it was true that life with out worry would be meaning less. But what wolf meant wasn't worry about life. He knew life and worry go hand to hand. This he knew and maybe Talbot did to. He just sighed as he looked at Talbot with a smile.)
Not what I really mean. I was talking about no worries about fighting or learning new spells. Sure we need to worry about food, house keep, and all the other stuff. But a life where I can just rest my sword and deck down. Not worry about using them would be nice. You know, killing others are pointless in my view. I wouldn't mind having a little house on open plains. Just worring out little things. What to make for lunch, how what should I grew on the field, and so on. I guess you can say I wouldn't mind having a life as a former.
(He started to laugh on the idea of being a everyday form worker. Planting seeds in the field, raising animales, painting the house, and just sit in a rocking chair as the sun set. In his mind that was a nice thing to have.)

Talbot smirked, "I never want to stop fighting, not ever. I want to teach those I raise to fight for themselves. To put down my blade and stop using majick would be my death."
She looked at him, "But to each their own."
