Life in St. Petersburg
The novel begins in New Orleans (a fictional equivalent of Las Vegas, Nevada) shortly after the events recounted in The Adventures of Huck Finn. Tom and Huck have each come to realize thier love for eachother, and decide to share an arpartment together. However, life as an underage homosexual couple in the conservative south is hard, and only with the help of Jim, a kentucky fried chicken restaurant employee and his loving and supporting father can they overcome their hardships to learn the meaning of Love, Family, and anal lube.
