Good scholar. He'd be someone someday.. Patting himself down, he nodded again.
"Yes, you're right. The second level is for those who are more advanced in their focusing skills. The point of mastering the first level is to increase your personal skills at focusing. The second level is to help further that ideal, on a more complicated level. There's even a third level, but, I won't mention that for now."
Sighing a little though, he reached into his left side, and got out a few tarot cards. Pulling back his left arm's sleeve, he held out his left arm. Hundreds of scars, some fresher then others were shown there, and he held it out, over the three tarot cards, while whisking into his robes, pulling out his Ritual Dagger.
".. Kai..."
He nicked at his arm a little, making a droplet of blood form and travel down his arm, watching carelessly, as it fell onto one of the tarot cards, forming into a strange chinese symbol.
"Dai...."
Another drop fell onto a second card, forming a different one from the first.
"..And Sai."
The last drop fell, and Yuan Shu put the Dagger away, wiped up the little cut, and covered his arm with his sleeve. It wasn't that large, but it was enough.
"No, it's alright, I don't mind sharing why I can't use spells on my own. The thing is, due to my Clan's curse, only my summon, a species of Protoss, can use spells, and then, they have to either be of fire-based, which Kai specializes in, electricity, whom Dai is favored towards, or a supportive water spell, as my docile Sai will only take, although, I'm trying to get it to find an exception. As you can figure... I'm trying to find a way to get around that, without exerting myself to a magical backlash, which is the result of me trying magic by myself."
But anyways... if you have "Druid's Joy" down, there's a more personal way of healing, which is far more effective, but alas, far more taxing, but requires no words, just plenty of energy. Then, a spell that requires some water to remove minor ailments, or at least, prove to be a cheap form of disinfectent, or at least, a good substitute for alchohol."
Sweeping up his bloodied tarot cards into his left hand, he swished them into a single-deck form, and into his robes, his fingers plying themselves onto his left arm. He gave it a small squeeze, then let go, and hooked onto two more pieces of paper, his pen ready, and began scribbling, waiting for Dev to give the okay to proceed.
