The G-Man
A few days had passed, since the G-man's first class. And yet, Hakfu still couldn't get it off his mind that something was very strange about their teacher. The elongated S's, the specialty with technology instead of magic. G-man...
"What the hell are you..?"
So it was here, in the library that Hakfu sat, with a book to his left, but a computer in front of him, as he attempted to search through "Arcane Academy Website" with a listing of the staff and the personal, ocassionally entering a keyword into various search engines just to see if he could find something, anything about this man. Normally, a normal person wouldn't interest him so much, but it was just for the fact of who the G-man was, and how he acted.. with curiosity driving him, Hakfu, a scholar, had to know.
Ten minutes into his third visit and session into the library on looking for the G-man, he was wrapt with attention... just a few more things to check, and then..

((I know i'm butting in, but hell, its my gf...))
The Priest was sitting in the library, when he saw Hakfu walk in, pick up a random book, and then sit at a computer. Seeing him from the back, he couldn't quite make out what he was looking at.
So, he sat, not paying any attention to anything, until Hakfu started clicking quite quickly, the keys depressions making a litle click click clack noise as he typed in word after word, and then clicked the mouse to scroll.
So, The Priest stood, closed the book he was reading, Necromancy: The Fallen Art, and walked over to Hakfu. Sitting down next to him, he spoke.
Whats up Hakfu?

((OOC: Well I'm glad you can help yourself to my threads, hun lol)) The library, a place of solitude. Lienn was sitting in a chair not too far away, a book open in her lap. To be honest, it wasn't exactly that interesting, and soon she found her attention straying. Her ears perked up though, as she heard a click click clack of keyboard keys. Glancing at the source of this sound, she recognized a fellow student from her History of Magic class..oh what fun that was. And next to him sat the ever elusive Priest, they seemed to be discussing something mor interesting than this dullard excuse for a piece of literature she was attempting to read. Closing the book, she placed it on the sidetable next to the chair and stood up, gliding over toward them, a smirk playing about her lips."What are you boys up to? Anything good?"

The G-man... What Is He?
"Almost... wait... damn, Arcane Academy internet security. Dear lord, if the G-man himself helped in the fortifying of this net's security.."
Hakfu could be seen, muttering to himself, clicking away, still typing in various keys, when he heard footsteps behind him. Minimizing everything, he waited for a bit. Was it the Historian? This was his domain after all.. his fears, shattered at the sound of the Priest's voice. Hakfu turned around, smiling at his old friend.
"Ah, Father! Good to see you.. good to see you.. Actually, I'm here looking up something in regards to one of the teachers. Have you seen the 'Historian' before?"
Hakfu, hands ready to emphasize what he was saying, was about to go into an entire explanation about it, when a dainty, but solidified woman's voice spoke, disrupting his train of thought. She seemingly glided over the floor to them, a coy smile on her face, asking what they were up to. More for that matter, as if she knew them. Wait... looking at her more closely.. ah yes! Lienn from the Historian's class! Smiling in return at the classmate, he nodded his head, waving.
"Ah, hello Lienn. This is my friend, 'The Priest', if you haven't met him already. Just looking up some things on the internet about our 'teacher', the G-man."
Returning his gaze back to the monitor, he gave it a few more clicks. Damn, still to no avail. He wouldn't stop though, he was far too persistent to give up so easily on this.

"Ahh, the old man. He does have the tendency to get under your skin, doesn't he?"
Her smile flickered slightly at this comment, as she didn't really like the man. 'G-man?' That was the first time she'd heard him called that, which was odd because she didn't see anything 'G' about him. Maybe it stood for grandfather, or geezer..haha. Her smile returned though, softening slightly as Hakfu introduced the Priest to her.
"We've met."
She replied with a nod and a smile. A moment passed, and she bit her lip lightly, glancing down at the monitor Hakfu was working on.
"I see you heven't had much luck. It's not that surprising, really. He told us himself in that history class that he's a techno-whatty..whatever he's hiding won't be found...by normal means at least."

Please Insert Magical Disk
Hakfu said nothing really. He didn't hate the G-man... it was just that he seemed to act very... well. Calling a teacher 'not human' or a monster was all the rage. But in truth, there was something very strange about the G-man that triggered Hakfu's curiosities. She looked somewhat deterred at the mentioning of their professor, however..
"Mmm... well, it hasn't all been fruitless. Look here."
At that, Hakfu clicked away at a few windows, a new one popping up.
".. Yes, a strange description, but yea. He mentioned to us that he could refer to him as the Historian, or the G-man... a key term I've been using a lot, along with a few other names. I've looked under magical teachers, magical staff, magical masters..."
His hand suddenly came slapping into his face. He looked back at Lienn, a very serious look on his face.
"Lienn."
Glare.
"You're a genius. He's a technomancer, so then.."
A broad grin came over his mouth. There is no magical prefix, then, even if he does know magic. Clicking away at the Arcane Academy vast internet index, he clicked away until..
"Freaking bastard... clever. He knew that most people would look at this and look at every magical prefix of extroadinary power, when he described himself, but he gave out all the clues perfectly. All it is is technology. This has really given me a huge headache.. 'been looking up things for the past week or so now, since we got out of class. All that we need left is.."
"Dammit."
".."
"..."
"(sigh).."
Hakfu turned around facing both of them.
"Any ideas?"

A shocked look came over the blonde girl's face at Hakfu's behavior. Her first impression was that he thought her an idiot for calling the Historian a 'techno-whatty.' Truth be told, she'd actually forgotten the term, but apparently he'd known what she meant when he began typing feverishly at the computer. She frowned slightly though, at this attempts to hack the 'G-man's' clip files. She shook her head, pale tresses waving slightly with her movement.
"You aren't much of a computer hacker, are you? Someone as smart as him wouldn't put anything obvious as his password, that would be completely mundane. It's probably something none of us could ever guess...a combination of letters and numbers, or maybe even symbols.."
She shrugged, pursing her lips in a thoughtful look. Something told her the computer wasn't the right way to go. It was too technological. And the historian was a technomancer. It was like attacking a fortified wall with a toothpick.
"I'm guessing if you want to find anything out about him, you're going to have to go about it by non-technological means. Stake-outs, etc...anything to obtain information firsthand. That way he can't hide it. Simple, and a bit arcane, but effective."

If Only, If Only... WHAT THE HELL IS THIS!?"Yea... I suppose your right. But, given my.. shall I say.. 'talents'? I can't really use spells without my summons, and none of my summons have a 'subtelness' to them, if you know what I mean. The usual summoning, 'loud and proud'."He frowned at the computer, pushing his hat back a bit. Growling slightly to himself, he took off the hat, letting his wild hair run down, and he shook it like a mad dog, for a full five seconds. Satisfied, he nodded apologetically to both of them and put his hat back on, bundling his hair underneath it."And yea.. I suck with computers, really. I'm trying to rely on the fact that he would hold himself in such high esteem that he would put something obvious, because he wouldn't think anyone would get this far... *click click click, backspace backspace, backspace* I really think he's just having a wonderful tim-"Hakfu stared at the computer for a while, amazed, scared, shocked, and frightened, all at the same time. He looked back at Lienn and the Priest.".. Lienn... you're not going to believe what you see, when I click on this link."G-Man Having a Wonderful Time! *click*

The Priest smiled sheepishly at Lienn when she arrived, and focused on Hakfu, to keep her from distracting him.
Multiple tries, multiple fails.
Then, suddenly, it came on, a hillarious video of The Historian twirling in his chair at a computer... What the hell?!
What the hell was that?! And what was the Password?!
Faintly, they heard the footsteps, the omniscient falling crescendoes of The Historian walking down the marble floors into the library...

Uh.. Uh... Zerg Rush, LOL!"Well, I was just messing around with- oh crap, hang on!"Quickly saving it to his own student's ID 'favorites', he exited out of all the internet programs, and clicked on a few things, making another pop up. The Historian was coming, for God's sake, he just barely noticed.."Uh... uh... uh... play along.. Well, Priest, I've been looking up some things on the Zerg. Unfortunetly, I can't find the incantation, but, generally, this is a very powerful ability, but requires a lot of energy, unfortunetly.. here's how it looks like."LOL Zerg Rush!*Click*"See, I don't know how exactly you do this, but, apparently, you summon a bunch of hydralisks, and direct them where to attack... I'd estimate that you'd need, on the meter, about fifteen units of energy to use this. So, if I were to use Sai's energy giving ability, you would be able to use it, about once, but then, you'd be completely drained."Putting his hands to his hat, he straightened it up, trying to look as inconspicious as possible. But it was true enough though, he had been meaning to show the Priest this spell for a while."This is just... one of those crazy spells. It's a big risk just using it, I might add."

The Historian arrived midway through the conversation. He listened, his eyes shifting from each of the participants, except for Lienn who he didn't bother at looking. Hakfu was intersting, and he had never met the Priest before, but he looked older than most students.
Turning, he walked away. Turning again, he walked down a hallway that was within their view. Turning to face the wall, he Straightened his tie, and a white light appeared, the door opening from Right to left. Brushing his lapels, he turned his head toward Hakfu and The Priest, and then walked in, the door sealing behind him.

'What the hell?' Lienn stared at the scrren in disbelief. The historian...was...what!?!? It seemed almost comical, actually it was quite comical, she stifled a laugh with her hand. Oh wow..The laugh changed quickly into a cough as the historian passed. Hakfu and the Priest seemed to have covered it up quite well, and Lienn followed suit, pretending to be engrossed in the explaination she didn't understand a word of. Zerg? Hydralisks? 'Of course!' Her composure said as she watched him speak. Once the historian had left, she quirked an eyebrow at her two friends.
"Sooo.."
Her face became pensive again as she thought about what had just occured all at once.
"Well, just because you are a loud unsubtle person doesn't mean that the rest of us are too. Too bad you don't have a slender stealthy friend, possibly female, with..I don't know..say, astral projection abilities..?"
She shuffled her feet slightly, putting on an innocent face.

... Our Teacher Is Insane.
"Astral projections indeed. Just a.."
Hakfu began typing in again, looking through what had gone through, now back to the original screen, typing in more random passwords, proceeding to do so for five minutes until..
".. I'm going to be leaving now, before I laugh too much and get kicked out of the library, permanently."
Standing up astutely, he pushed in his chair, a strange look on his face, as if he just didn't want to see anymore, walking outside of the library. On the screen, there were several videos of the G-man, which soon made it evident as to why he had abandoned his search. It was... it was just too painful.
