Sitting alone

Sitting at a desk in the library working through a book and drawing an array he was working on onto a piece of paper though it was giving him some trouble since it was incredibly complicated and was sposed to be very strong once he managed to work out the problems. Having been excelling in his classes though the drawing part of alchemy was giving him trouble. Standing and cursing as he messed up again ."No damnit! This will never work....I have to show that I can do better....I have to do better...." clearly angry and obsessing

Sieg had been reading through some books about magical energy. He was working on away to make his new mana battery design even more efficient so it would require even less mana to power and would be able to cycle mana even more efficiently than the one in Atticus did. He looked up, bewildered, as heard cussing and yelling. He moved over to the table where it was happening and adjusted his goggles a bit so they wouldn't droop over his eyes.

"Everything okay?" he asked, watching the angry student interestedly and then he noticed the array, "Oooh, an alchemic array if I'm not mistaken....a complex one at that, you're an alchemist?" he asked, studying the paper intently.

Nodding as he sighed and looked at the new person. "Yes....I cant make it look right, This is flawed, I doubt I could turn a lump into a ring with that garbage." clearly overly critical of his work as he had sketches drawn out all over the desk though most of the flaws he obviously found were just because he had no artistic ability. "I cant draw the things right.....I'll never succeed in my new array like this....I have to make it stronger," it wasnt clear if he was talking to the guy or to himself as he was obviously lost in thought

"Ah, that's the major flaw of alchemy, at least your kind. One requires artistic skill in order to form the arrays correctly. If you want I could probably fashion you some sort of stencils but I need accuarate pictures of the array is supposed to look," Sieg offered with a smile and then shook his head as he realized he hadn't introduced himself, "Sorry, forgot to introduce myself. Sieg Rhinehart," he said, offering the other fellow his hand.

Nodding witha sigh. "This is all Im good at. I know science and math, So I am good with Alchemy, I just cant draw the more complex arrays....I am no artist....But...." biting his lip and nodding as he drew a simple array onto his hands and touched the paper as it reshaped into what the thing he was attempting should look like. "I can cheat.....This tiwll work. "

[Sieg]

Sieg grinned and sat down across the table from him, "So if you can provide me with accurate depictions of the arrays you are having trouble drawing I can easily craft you some stencils. I'm sort of an alchemist I suppose except I build more than I re-shape," he said with a smile, "I'm a technomancer...I specialize in mixing technology and magic."

Looking at him and smiling a bit. "Thanks....But if I get some cardboard this trick should work shouldnt it? I havent read anything that said it wouldnt and the shape looks right....Im afraid Im not good with people....I lack.....people skills." not seeming to realize he had been talking to himself before

He leaned back in the chair a little with a friendly grin, "Don't worry I'm not much of a people person either, I tend to prefer machines to people," he said laughing softly, "I'm afraid I didn't catch your name," he said as he watched him with a curious grin. This guy was weird that was for sure.

Nodding slightly though it was clear he was only half paying attntion to him as his eyes kept darting back to his work. "Oh, Im Ioless, And you?" looking at his palms and nodding a bit as if to something he had been thinking as he start speaking softly. "that should work....I'll also meld an array into each boots soul after coating it with metal....tattoo onto my palms....Simplify things..."

[Sieg]

"Sieg," he said watching him with a grin. Ioless started to remind Sieg of himself when he got an idea, "Well I think I'll leave you to your thoughts, you seem to be quite busy and I know what it's like to be interrupted while you're thinking a problem through, see you around Ioless," he said as he stood up and started back for his table.

Shaking his head as he smiled a bit nervously. "No...It's quite alright....Im not going to get anywhere right now,If that wont work then I have no ideas....I will have to get some tattoo's to make one of my ideas work anyhow."

Sieg stopped and turned around, grabbing a chair and sliding it under him as he sat back down, "So then Ioless...are you new here?" he asked, quite unsure of how to approach him. He was definitely not a people person, much less so than Sieg, but then again Sieg didn't really mind he was just having trouble relating to the lad was all.

shaking his ehad slightly as he smiled a little nervously glancing around and closing his books. "No....I have been here a while, Ive read my way through the entire library, I pretty much live here.....I just stay to myself alot.....People dont like me much, they say Im creepy." shrugging a bit uncomfortably.
