This board, and I'm only speaking as a member here, has always been a no code board. I don't think we're about to start.

- shrugs - I always thought it was a code, could be wrong though. I know the code is out there for it, although in version four of PB it may have been upgraded. Either way, talk to Auroth, he's the only one with that kinda power.

What's the big deal with code here anyway? What do you think this board, and the internet are made of? Coding, if done properly can make some powerful applications, and inversely if done improperly can be disastrous. But seeing as how the majority of the PhP code on which this board is built is open source, obtaining correctly coded snippets shouldn't be a problem. I don't understand why people immediately think of the worst possible outcomes when code gets brought up. I'unno, maybe you guys think all coders are hackers? And even then, thats the wrong term for a malicious coder; Crackers have been traditionally the malicious coders intent on wreaking havoc and using cyber-space for their own gain. Hackers are people that devise new ways of using syntax to write programs to accomplish different things.
As always, the opinions of the mis-informed tend to get around faster than those of the educated, and because of it the "hacker/coder" is considered "bad" by proxy.

I honestly don't see a problem with having a signature after every post. I find that it breaks up the monotony of the words and gives you something to look at. Granted The Designer makes the full and final decisions but I don't see how it's an issue. Hasn't been one before now and I don't see how it is now.
Personally, as a player character and moderator, I like the pictures that's just my opinion though. Majority of them are pics of the character themselves and in my mind it helps me visualize it all just a bit better.

If anyone here is a 56K'er, that's the only instance I care. Any other time, having sigs at the end of each of your posts won't matter. They load at their image size (3000K, for exmaple) and 1k (depending on which fourm you're using) for every other time it's on the same page.

Well, I am a 56k'er as you put it and I don't find a problem. Perhaps I"m used to it I'm not sure. But I find truthfully that the Xin sites like Xin 1 and 552 load much slower for me with their heavy graphics even with the lack of signatures than this site does that is filled with them.

Okay, I just wanna start: Where did THAT come from? Moving on, it's a decent suggestion and I'm not knocking it, but like most have said, I don't much think its necessary. Nobody else has complained before, and, thus far, it looks like nobody else is complaining now. Heh, sorry man, but it seems you are the minority here.

A, "THAT" came from Junpei's, 'This board has never had coding, and I don't think we should start now.' arguement to my idea. B, it doesnt really matter, it was just a suggestion
