That makes sense to me, but I think it'd be much easier to arrange crap like that through PMs.

The problem with genocide's idea is that it's hard to ask for someone (as in nobody in particular) to fight you through PMs.
If it's someone particular, then PM, yes, but what Tristan is getting at is something like what 552 has...
But there, there's a heck of a lot more fighting than here, or at least that's my impression...

Well, considering I have no earthly clue as to what the hell "552" might be, I'm inclined to respectfully disagree. Besides, if you've got to ask around for people to RP with, then you haven't mastered the art of "baiting." Also, people here seem friendly enough on the surface to reply favorably to most requests anyhow.
If the site had a larger core of active members, then this might be necessary. But for the most part it seems to only be the same 40-50 people posting.

No, I have not mastered the art of "Baiting," as should be assumed that at least some people have not. But it is very true that we only really have 40-50 active (at all) and about 15 very active members. So the need to make RP requests shouldn't be so great as to need their own board, so it should be fine to just keep it in 'General'.
And 552 is just another board...

From my expieriences, 1 out of 20 RPers at 552 are good.

From my experiences, 19 out of 20 RPers are 552 are crap.
This is not 552. 552 usually doesn't have good ideas. We want good ideas. They clog their site up with stats, money, weapon stats, where it comes to be that it's not about RPing. That makes people rely less on RP skill, so they get rusty. Some of them were crap to begin with. Until we get a shit load of members, it's still all right to post RP requests in the General Section. Besides, PM will always be there just to request RP for a single person. It's not like we have to set something up as well as PM.
552 has a large group of unorganized people, where Arcane has a small, slightly more organized group. We're organized to the point where when mods and admins want to step in and make whatever changes to add sections, they will.
