I am one who enjoys a good duel but, after witnessing Tristan having a good half a dozen+ duels ongoing I believe a limit needs instituted onto how many a person can have going at once. This is so others have a chance to duel new people.

almost all of those fights were prearranged due to boredom. Tristan is a character that fights more than talks and thats the way i play him, by fighting more than having social threads.

Arranged or not I do find it semi-ridiculous for one character to be in so many battles at once. :/

thats the way i RP >.> always have always will...

at times its not uncommon to see me in well over a dozen fights at once with various people.

With this said, it doesn't matter how many 'duels' someone is in, the max amount of stats they can get in 2 a day. Personally, if the person wants to RP in a lot of fights, that is all up to the individual, but the rule still stands, if he finishes more than two that day, then only two of them will count toward stats. As long as he is active in them all, I don't see the problem in him being in a lot of fights, people here have the right to RP however they want, rather it be getting into countless fights, or no fights at all.

Putting a rule on this would just be restricting to them, we already have a rule restricting stats, so there shouldn't be much of a care if they get in a lot of fights.

^ This stops any future points being brought up about stats.

Now for dueling new people, there has never been any restrictions toward who can fight who. It all depends on if the two RPers want to RP. When you limit the amount of fights someone is in, that makes them have a LESSER chance to duel new people because they are restricting already on how many they are in. If you want to fight against someone new, it isn't hard to send a PM that states, 'Hey, would you like to PM with me?'

^ That is my reasoning on the main point at hand. I personally don't think it matters how man fights someone is in as long as they are dedicated to all their fights, and remain actively strong in them all.

As one of the resident stat-mongers here I really don't care about stats and that was not my worry. I just find it overboard for someone to be in a half a ton of fights at a single time.

That's just me but, meh.

i understand where your coming from but its just how i RP. in all honesty it is partly about the stats, but i still rather fight than socialize and will always have characters that do so.

Oh come now, seriously, why pester this guy about how many fights he's been in? Is it really bothering people that much? I mean really...that's kind of sad if something as little as that bothers some one. Especially if it has nothing to do with that someone. There isn't a rule on the boards about how many fights a person is limited too. So no rules are broken right? Come on people, stop trying to find reasons to argue. In most cases this is called meddling than collaboration...
