Well, if anyone knows the story of Mithrdates, he took minor doses of mitray-i poison over many years. These nonlethal doses gave him an immunity to most poisons. Felodar could have done the same, taking bits of garlic and emo-cutting himself with silver over many years. It's quite the idea of how his immunity would have came to be, but it's too... Blade, which is corny.
