Thanksgiving?! (closed/possibly Mature)

[Junpei]

Squeal, people look, Junpei turns ten shades of red, end Kodak moment. His face was beat red as she dragged him over to the women's section and began to look over shirts and skirts. Junpei's face cooled down and a few women were giggling, silly American boy going after the foreign girl. Little did they know that he hadn't just gone after the foreign girl, he was marrying her and she was carrying his future child. Soon she turned and looked up into his eyes, those Sapphire pools could make him do anything. Expensive... of course it was expensive, but for her it was perfectly fine and not a problem, never would be.

"Hai."

He replied in Japanese, a simple yes.

"Anything you like dear, today money isn't an object. I made sure to save up a little from the interest, only about 2,000 for today, don't go to wild."

Junpei leaned down and kissed Phaedra before he looked over a skirt and shirt she had been looking at. Smirking a bit he leaned down and wrapped his arms around her waist from behind, then whispered in her ear.

"You'll look fabulous in anything, but remember, we still have to shop for something for you to wear in the evening, when it's JUST us."

He grinned a bit and kissed her neck softly before he turned and went looked around. Big place... he could easily see her spending 400 dollars in ten minutes here.

[Phae]

He looked down into her eyes and their eyes locked just like old times. She blushed softly as he told her that he had saved up a bit for them to shop with and that she couldn't go wild but could definatly get quite a few things with the money he had brought with them today. She smiled as he put his arms around her small body and told her that they had to remember tonight and what she would need to wear for him.

She blushed deeply as he kissed her neck and went off to look around the store. She smiled softly. He was a good man to have around. Not for the money not for the good looks but just because of who he was. She got down to business. She began to pick out skirt after skirt after skirt. Each skirt had a matching shirt or sweater to go with it. She grabbed a few pairs of REALLY cute jeans and a few dresses. As well as a zipper hoodie with the company name across the chest. Gotta have one of those now don't we?

"Hey there." said some guy that came up to her decked out in the brand name they sold here. "Why don't I put those in a dressing room for you?" he asked looking up and down Phae's body. Phae though didn't notice. Ahh help!

"Oh sure! Thank you so much!" she said with a bright happy smile as she went about picking up other things leaving her HUGE pile in the boys' arms. He stumbled off under her load as she hit the dress section.

CUTE dresses that would fit just right on her body were there so cute! She picked up I light pink one and a black one both of different styles. She ran into the dressing room with her new finds and looked for the boy that had her things!

"This way miss." he told her and took her hand leading her down a long hallway to the back. She tried to pull her hand out from his but he had a death grip on it. He stopped in front of a large changing room all the clothing she had picked out were already in there.

"Oh thanks." she said as she stepped into the room.

"Need any help. You know these American things could be so difficult." he said with a grin.

"Oh.. I'm pretty sure German and American zippers and buttons are all the same. So are the guys that are jerks." she said as she hung up her dresses. Suddenly she was spun and pressed up against the wall.

"What did you say?" he growled as he looked down at her cleavage. She gulped and reached for her sword.. crap left it at home. She sighed softly as she kneed him hard in the groin before spin kicking his happy ass out of the room and into the hall way across it and to the wall where he slid down it.

"And stay out!" she said rather loudly as she slammed the door shut to her changing room and began going through the clothing deciding what to try on.

[Junpei]

Junpei laughed out loud as he watched his Fiance knee the guy in the groin. He had been watching from a few feet away, he had never really left her side just in case something like this happened. The guy was against the wall and almost crying as he tried to get his footing. AT first he had been a bit worried, but then remembered that hey, Phaedra was a big girl, and if worse came to worst Junpei would just casually beat the hell outs the guy. Screw assault charges he was gonna make it self defense. AH yes, the always acceptable, he tried to touch what's mine, plea. Walking over to the dressing rooms Junpei grabbed the guy under the arm and hoisted him up.

"First mistake, you touched her."

The guy's face twisted into confusion as Junpei brushed off the guys shoulders.

"Second mistake, you touched MY fiance."

His face twisted into more confusion, he was probably thinking 'But she can't be more than 17'.

"Third mistake, you touched the mother of my child."

The guys went wide and Junpei just smiled. He grabbed the guy by the shoulders and dragged him out to the front desk. The woman behind the desk raised an eyebrow as Junpei forcibly moved the man to the desk.

"What's your policy on sexual harassment?"

"WHAT!?"

The woman behind the counter almost shouted.

"Well, your fine employee here just tried to force my fiance into a dressing room, where i have no idea what he was going to do."

The woman looked at the man who was still in pain and gave him a look hat could kill.

"Sir would you like to press charges?"

"Oh no, I'm only going to be in the country for a few days before I have to go out again. Do with him as you like, I'm sure you'll find the appropriate measures."

Junpei almost smiled as he dropped the guy an he was forced to catch the counter to keep from hitting the floor. Junpei wasn't three feet away before he heard what he wanted.

"You're fired."

He made his way back to the dressing rooms before Phaedra got out, perfectly timed.

[Phae]

Phaedra of course was blissfully unaware that Junpei had exchanged words with the attendant outside. She was trying on and mix and matching all the different outfits she had brought in here. Dresses, sweaters, shirts, skirts, and jeans. All changed she wanted a nice wardrobe to wear for her husband and not only that but she wanted things she could mix and match so it wasn't just the same outfit all the time because that got boring and Junpei knew the damage when Phae got bored.

She tried on so many things and then she had to pick. Oh that was just not fair. All the things in here were so nice, but she had to save some money for alone time clothes. He had told her that. So after putting back on her normal clothing she opened the door and began to go through them setting the things she definatly HAD to have on one side of the dressing room and looked at the huge pile of the things she just wanted REALLY bad. She tapped her chin as she lifted up article after article of clothing and placed them into the 'going to buy pile'.

She placed two shirts and three skirts on a hook trying not to throw them in the pile that was going home with her. She chewed on her lower lip trying to decide between the two dresses and ended up throwing BOTH of them in the pile. She sighed softly as the jeans went into the happy pile and the hoodie she had to have. She got to the bottom and yeah.. there was a lot she wanted. Crap did she have to go through the pile again? Damn she wanted to ones on the hanger too but.. but she had to be good. He was already giving her a wedding, a house, a new wardrobe, a baby, and so she wanted to be good.

She sighed and picked up her HUGE pile of clothes in her arms barely able to hold it all as she moved out of the dressing room. She looked up at Junpei with those big beautiful blue eyes and asked..

"Do you think it's too much?" she asked softly her eyes nearly pouting. Three shirts and two skirts left behind. Damn cute American clothes. Though she took good care of her clothes as Junpei knew and they would be around for a while only time she wouldn't be able to wear them would be if she showed a lot while pregnate.

[Junpei]

Junpei stood quietly outside the dressing rooms as he cleaned out his fingernails, checked the time a couple of times, watched customers come and go, what the hell was taking that woman so long?! He waited full fifteen minutes as she was getting ready to decide what to keep and what to buy.

Eventually she came out carrying a pile of clothes that looked like it could kill her under it's weight. Junpei's eyes widened and he grabbed the clothes from her. It was heavy all right, and it was bulky to. Running threw the clothes with his hands he was abale to count out five skirts, ten shirts, eight sweaters, two pairs of jeans, a hoodie, and to top it all off two dresses. He added the prices up in his head and he went pale a moment.

"Good choices Hun, you'll be set for the week! Now let's get these to a register and check out."

Lugging everything to the nearest open register Junpei set everything down and the girl behind the counter almost jumped with joy, this was her winter bonus. She began to ring things up, folding and stacking and putting things into bags. It would take thirteen bags before everything was ready to go. Junpei's eyes were slowly widening with each bag, until he was staring at all thirteen.

"Your total is $846.30.Will that be cash, check, or charge?"

"Cash..."

He handed over, in twenties and hundreds, 840 US dollars. When he was done his money stack was half what it used to be, mostly thanks to hundreds. He got his change back, took the receipt, and looked to the woman.

"You wouldn't happen to have curb delivery would you?"

"We in fact do for all purchase over 200 dollars."

"Great, there will be a black limo at the South entrance, license playet VDF 057. Have it delivered to that car please."

"Very well sir, thank you come again."

"Uh huh, you're welcome."

Junpei took Phaedra by the hand and led her out.

"Get everything you like?"

[Phae]

Phaedra felt bad near immediatly when Jun began looking through all the things that she had picked out. She chewed on her lower lip and looked up at him with those blue eyes doing their puppy dog thing as she watched him pale over the prices. She looked down and then he told her that she had made good choices she smiled a little as they went to the front of the store to check out. They stood there as beep after beep the clothing rang up and the total climbed.

In the end the total was outrageous and her parents would have killed her if she had ever brought home a bill so large. But Jun had told her not to pack anything and so she literally had nothing to wear aside from what she had on at this very moment. She watched as bag after bag was filled with her new things and Junpei's eyes got wider and his skin paler. She looked up at him and bit her lower lip nervously as the total came up and she nearly bit right through it. She swallowed hard as Junpei handed over their money and asked for it to be brought to the car.

He took her hand and led her out of the shop. How in the world did you fit two thousand dollars in your wallet? That was a hell of a lot of money. Though if she thought back over their relationship she would recal that she rarely spent his money on anything. She had saved up her own money to buy his ring, she had saved up money for their trip to Berlin in which they kinda both paid for in the end. She rarely bought anything unless it was from her money that her parents sent her monthly for small purchases. So really she didn't spend much at all. this was like a one time shopping spree thing. Granted it came at a bad time with Junpei and her getting married, a house, and a baby. But still at the same time perhaps it wasn't too bad.

But that didn't stop her from feeling guilty and soon she pulled on his hand to stop him from walking. She pulled him into a hug her arms wrapping around his waist as she nuzzled into him in the middle of the mall. The German Roasted Almonds filled her nostrils as she hugged him.

"We can take things back.. we don't have to get them all. I didn't know.. it was so hard to pick. They were all such nice clothes. You were right when you said it was my kind of store. I"m so sorry I didn't mean to spend that much. I just.. well,.. we can.. we can take some things back. I don't need eight sweaters... maybe one. And jeans.. one we can take one back and then shirts.. well we can take half of those back.. and I could do with just one dress. We could just knock it down .. a lot.. I'm so sorry." she said clinging to him as she wouldn't even make eye contact she felt rather bad about spending so much. Phae would rather spend on others than herself.

[Junpei]

She suddenly stopped him and he smiled softly as she pulled him into deep hug. She began to say they could take things back, that she didn't need it, that he only needed one of this and that. He could only hug her back and listen to her. He wasn't going to return a dime of it, not a penny, eh wouldn't even look at the returns as an option. He had brought her here to shop to her heart's content and that's what she had done. She deserved it. Sure she may only get to wear the stuff bit longer before she wouldn't fit it, before she would really show the signs of pregnancy that came with it.

"Shh.. I don't wanna return a thing love. I came here to take you shopping for the afternoon, and that's what we're gonna do. You know I wouldn't do this unless I was sure we could afford it."

He kissed her neck softly and smiled, she always worried about him and he her, they were a couple that defended each other and watched over each other, nothing got by the other.

"Come on, let's go buy you something... just nothing more than 1170 dollars."

He joked. She would be happy soon, when he took her home and made a lavish Japanese dish for them to eat. Negi was cooking it currently, and Loish and Del were in the field out back playing ion the warm November sun. It was a picture perfect day, and Junpei knew that one day those Jhereg would be joined by his children, his wonderful wife and him sitting and watching them... it was a picture his mind had painted a thousand times, now it was going to come true.

[Phae]

He hugged her back tightly and told her that he didn't want to take anything back. That they had come here to shop and that is what they were doing. She smiled softly she couldn't wait to start wearing her new clothes. She hadn't shown them to Junpei because she wanted him to be surprised when she did wear them. To see them on her the first time at home where he would tell her what he really thought and not in some store where he would probably have to act all macho.

He told her that it was time to go shopping again and she smiled brightly. She was having fun. Shopping of course was fun but right now it was more so that she was with Jun. It was like a date. They had honestly not had many dates and now they were on one and she was excited. Finally get engaged and pregnate and we get to go on a date. She thought about that for a moment and smiled. She knew that Junpei was going to be a great father and she couldn't wait to see what their world would turn into after that.

"You said that we needed to get something for tonight. And where do we do that. Isn't there a store with those catalog thingies. The one that has the pink bag or something. Can't.. remember the name but.. I think it was a American name.. do you have one of those here?" she asked looking up at him innocently.

[Junpei]

Ahhh yeah that was gonna bea fun walk. Junpei slipped his arm around Phaedra's waist and just laughed nervously. Yeah totally smooth to tell your fiance where to go to buy... that. He turned red.. yeah this was gonna be awkward.

"Well.. you probably mean Victoria's Secret right? Well I wouldn't, I love you babe, but I wouldn't go in there with you.. just not the thing to do I'd say.. besides I like the last time you surprised me.. in Berlin."

He grinned a bit and led her back down the mall, leaning over to kiss her neck fotly as they went. He loved that corset she had worn... did she still have that... he would have to ask her later. He was able to find the story easily, all the bright pink and lace made it an easy find. He let her go at the entrance.

"I'm going to go check on some things, you got a half hour to look and find what you want. See you then love."

He gave her one final kiss and slipped a hundred into her hand, he knew she could understand the money system, she was a smart girl and it was pretty simple to begin with. Heheaded off, he needed to do something important, she would find out about it tonight.

[Phae]

Junpei and Phaedra walked down the way. Back in the direction they had come from in the first place. She sighed softly as he began to speak to her about that 'stuff' and she chuckled. Victoria's Secret was indeed the shop that she wanted. She had ordered something from the catalogs a time or two and to see an actual store would be amazing. He told her that he wasn't going to go in and she laughed softly. He was so cute damn near blushing the closer they got to the store.

In the front of the store he pulled her into a hug and kissed her forehead. Telling her that he had a few things to take care of and would be back in half an hour for her. She nodded as he slipped a hundred dollars into her hand and kissed her on the lips. She smiled as he headed off and she put her money in her bra real quick as she headed into the store. It was a nice store and immediatly she was bombarded by two women wanting to help her.

"Looking for something to wear for your boyfriend?" one asked and Phae smiled.

"Fiance' and yes." she corrected and the girls got all excited.

They began dragging the poor German girl all over the store. Apparently she had an ideal body type, whatever the hell that meant and so they had her decked out in this that and the other things. And so when all was said and done she had spent seventy four dollars and sixty cents and panties for the week as well as her outfit for the night. She blushed softly as they waved goodbye and sent her out the door. Phae checked her watch she had ten minutes.

Across the way was a book store and she walked over to it real quick and went into it looking around at all the different books. She hadn't bought a real non magical book in a long time. She knew exactly what she was looking for two. Going to the fiction section she found it and the sequel before taking them up to the desk. Using the last of her money she bought her books and then sat on the bench just in front of the Victoria secret her bags beside her and her nose already in her book.

[Junpei]

"Get anything good?"

He asked as he looked over her shoulder into the book. He had no idea what it was, he wasn't really looking, from here he got a pretty good view no matter what she was doing. He grinned a bit to himself, he could be the most perverse fiance at times, then again he had a more than overwhelming string of good moments to.

"I see you got yourself a new book, or two I'd guess. What next?"

He said as he hopped the seat gracefully and landed next to his wife to be. He slipped an arm over her shoulder and let the item he had bought rest on in left breast pocket. He would show it to her tonight, until then it was his to keep hidden and just in case she tried he had set a teleport spell on it, set for his lock box at home. No way she was getting to ruin THIS surprise.

"Oh and by the way, we need to be gone by... probably five here. Dinner will be waiting at home.. so.. we have... 2 and a half hours my love."

[Phae]

She heard his voice from above and behind her and she smiled as she looked up at him. He was always the best at surprising her and he sat down next to her with no bags in hand. Where on earth had he been. Heh.. earth they were actually on earth right now that phrase kinda fit. She leaned agianst him when his hand came around her shoulders. She smiled softly and put her head on his shoulders.

She thought about what she wanted to do now. She was hungry that was for sure she hadn't eaten since breakfast. She looked up at him and slid her book back into bag as she gathered them both up.

"You'll have to wait til tonight to find out if I found anything good now won't you.?" she asked with a chuckle.

She pulled him up gently and kissed his neck right on his sweet spot. Ahh mission accomplished. Junpei? Putty in hand. OH yes in Phaedra's hand. She took his hand gently and squeezed it lovingly. She looked up into his eyes.

"Lets go get something to eat. Nothing big but maybe a slice of pizza someting to eat to keep me sane til dinner. I'm hungry you've given me a serious workout today. And then you get to decide the next store because I have no idea where to go." she chuckled as she tugged on his hand just slightly and followed her nose heading to the food court.

[Junpei]

"Ahh I hate waiting."

He joked in a mock pleading voice. She really was a torturous women when it came to things like this, wherever any form of intimacy got involved. She was good at it to, good at lading him on by a leash, hell he didn't need the leash he was ALWAYS ready for her. He could go home dead tired and she would be in that short skirt and tight shirt and leading him to bed and he would follow wit perfect willingness. Mind you the next morning he would sleep an extra hour or so but he was always attentive to her, and if she wanted ANYTHING.

Pizza? She was gonna eat a whole slice of PIZZA?! Oh thank you lord she's eating again. He nodded vigorously and lead her to a food vendor, they had pizza, subs, and even Philly cheese steaks. Oh he hadn't had a cheese steak in ages. As he order a vegetarian slice of pizza for Phaedra he got himself a cheese steak and paid. He held her close the whole time, so happy she was eating again.

"Oh and could you add two lemonades to that, larges."

"Sure thing, extra 4 dollars and 35 cents please."

Junpei paid and the drinks were given to them quickly, their was a sparse crowd but they still got people threw fast. Soon they both had their meals and Junpei led her to a table. Setting the food tray down he sat down in a chair and took a drink, fresh lemonade, yay.

"Next store huh.. hmm... how about a jewelry store..."

[Phae]

Phaedra was led to the food court as it seemed these Americans called it. He led her to a small little stand that seemed to sell quite a few different things. She smiled as he got her a slice of vegetarian pizza. OMG. that was the biggest slice of pizza she had ever seen in her life. Okay she was kind of hoping for .. oh one of the smallest peieces you can get when you order a pizza and they deliver not a sixth of a pizza on a plate just for her. She gulped but would do her best.

He ordered lemonade too and she smiled as they headed to a table. Sitting down she added powerdered cheese of some sort and some really good spicy peppers to the top of the pizza via some little packets that had been thrown on her flimsy plate. She reached over and took a bite the wonderful flavors of Americanized pizza flooded her mouth. Americans really did have odd ways of changing food to their own liking. ... german .. roasted.. almonds...

It was then Junpei mentioned something about the jewelry store and she nearly dropped her slice of pizza. Two bites down.. oh god.. so many to go. She swallowed her current bite and looked up at hm placing her pizza down she sipped her lemonade and made a face.. oh .. oh so sweet. Too sweet. She coughed softly and looked into his eyes.

"Allright.. but.. yeah why? Because I.. I'm confused. Not that I"m complaining. You know me, I like stuff and jewelry is right under hugs and kisses on my list but I"m just wondering what you had in mind." she asked as she took another hard bite of her pizza. God it was so big. Who in their right mind decides to make pizza this freaking big!!!!!

[Junpei]

Crap, he forgot how different American food was from the rest of the world. Bigger, bigger, bigger, was the only thing one could say out it. Sweeter to, and definitely more salt.. lots more fat, grease, and how the hell did American's live past 50? Oh yeah, surgery, after surgery, after surgery. Why in the world had he chosen to live here for 13 years of his life?!

"Hun, don't force yourself, and yes I'm sure about the Jewelry store. We've got almost 1000 left, I want you to go get something special. Besides-"

He paused as he leaned over and took a bite of her pizza, helping her with it.He chewed and swallowed quickly.

"- you've been doing great all day, and I'm so happy and proud of you. You deserve this."

He smiled and turned back to his sandwich, which he absolutely loved. It was soaked in grease yes, but rarely did they eat anything that wasn't healthy for them. They almost always home cooked these days, and German cooking was healthy compared to this, hell it was healthy thanks to the influx of veggies and heart meats Junpei had gotten. While Phaedra was still vegetarian Junpei was a hearty meat eater, but never did he order anything medium raw, or anything with any blood in it.
