[/li][li]Bullet Necklace - Inside was a bullet case made of white gold on a chain; the chain made out of the finest white silver of connecting links. Instead of a bullet in the casing was a perfect sapphire carved into the shape of the bullet. The 9mm bullet hangs from the chain but it didn't look like a bullet she had ever seen before or he for that matter. On the bullet casing engraved in small letters says the following "To Darian with Love". This gift came from Shea Donnovon and represents an important bond. Shea being a Jewel Mage and Darian being a Gun Mage means that there is a possibility for him to tap into the jewel as he learns more about the powers from Shea. What magic this will lead to remains to be seen. This necklace never leaves Darian's neck.
[/li][li]Sirius' Medallion - This powerful item is a representation of great importance to Darian. Now an apprentice to the powerful Alchemist Sirius he has gained the favor of Eternity. When wearing this item his alchemic abilities are twice as powerful. More importantly Darian can freely come and go as he pleases with Eternity territory. The Medallion is on an elegant chrome titanium chain and hangs around his neck.

Main Magic Ability: Gun Magic
General Description: Gun Magic is often a rare and over-looked discipline of magic. It was first discovered in the early 1700s when flintlock pistols were becoming more popular especially among nobility. Gun Magic revolves around imbuing one's round with magical properties to make them more effective. It was rumored during the American Civil War that a squad of snipers in the Confederate Army were actually gun mages. Sometimes the imbuement is small sometimes it's large regardless their can only be one imbuement per round. For a beginner it is often recommended to imbue rounds ahead of time as it takes awhile (roughly one minute a round) to focus the magic. The magic however lasts until dispelled or a period of forty-eight hours goes by. Special ammunition is also recommended for the guns in use to increase survivability. Gun Magic has long since expanded since the days of the past however, branching out as newer and more advanced techniques are discovered. Darian being the pride of the Dumonte Family as a hereditary Gun Mage has a heavy talent in this field and many spectators expect the young man to become a legend in his own right like Jean was. Gun Magic isn't limited to magic round imbuement in fact that's just the base of the arsenal. There are various enhancement abilities as well as wielding styles. A Gun Mage relies on his guns for attack spells however, the potential to learn a tremendous amount of magic is still there. This has often made the Gun Mage known as a true Jack-of-all-Trades. It is often their creativity and versatility that has won them a fight over raw power.
Strengths: The Gun Mage is adept at ranged combat capable of picking off opponents with startling ease. They're imbued rounds makes them adept at handling multiple situations. The Gun Mage typically has a fast reaction time and they don't always rely on magic since most have training with firearms. Enhanced accuracy is one of a gun mage's most key abilities.
Weaknesses: Gun Mages are not particularly adept at handling close-range attacks and thus are forced to stay on the move. This forced movement often lowers accuracy. When focusing on a shot this generally leaves them exposed. While a Gun Mage’s offense is never in doubt they rely on speed and cunning to make up for what is often a poor defensive ability if any.

Description: The 32K Forest Raven is Darian's weapon of choice for blowing the crap out of somebody. His form of mercy is often taken away when he wields this gun. This beautifully craft silver plated revolver has gold trim giving it a look of elegance and deadly grace. The holster and grips are both made of fine black leather. Engraved on either side of the gun-barrel is the crest of the Dumonte family. In addition an alchemic circle is found on either side of the gun now. The revolver is heavy having a longer barrel then most pistols or revolvers giving it an unmistaken look and making it an excellent long-range weapon. Plated with armor Darian can easily use this as a melee weapon or for blocking melee attacks.

Description: The Glock 19L is a common sight amongst Darian's weapons and in fact is Darian's preferred weapon for handling people. Having one in each hand Darian is capable of mowing down target's before they get close to him. This gun is famously known for its accuracy and power. They appear to be standard issue tournament models save the Dumonte crest on them.

Description: The Seacamp is that pistol that is able to go anywhere. Literally. Despite its small caliber this small pistol packs an incredible punch. Small and easy to handle it can easily be hidden in a pocket and not be shown. This particular model is like the standard variety save the Dumonte family crest on it.

Description: An elegant weapon the Dumonte Gun Blade has been in the family for many generations. This incredibly rare weapon has been passed down the family line of the Dumontes from Gun Mage to Gun Mage. When a Gun Mage didn't show it would be put in storage until a new one arose. This elegant long-sword as a long-barrel revolve built into it allowing it to be used as a powerful pistol exceedingly dangerous at close-range or even mid-range. However, the sharp edge of the long-sword is not to be ignored and it is tempered laminated steel that make's it excellent at deflecting enemy rounds. The Gun Blade has a large emerald in the base of it and the Dumonte family crest etched in gold flake on the surface of it.

Ammunition
[/li][li]Armor Piercing Rounds - The standard round of choice for punching through armor this given up overall punch for being able to get through armor. This is reserved for major encounters only or very important fights against a defensive opponent.
[/li][li]Silver Rounds - Blessed silver ammunition for encountering anything unnatural this is Darian's trump card and ace in the hole for dealing with the beasties. Darian often carries these on his person wherever he goes given the magical nature of things ever since he has first arrived at the Arcane Academy.
[/li][li]Standard Rounds - Standard ammunition and fit for all occasions this is the standard round of choice when Darian is using live ammunition. Darian’s preferred ammunition as it’s easy to use and easy to handle.
[/li][li]Rubber Rounds - When Darian is sparing or simply doesn't want to kill a target these magnificent rounds are the rounds of choice leaving only painful bruises over permanent damage. Darian usually only carries these for training sessions.
[/li][li]High Explosive Rounds (Forest Raven Only) - Darian's Forest Raven is his prized gun and these bullets show that. The HE Rounds are grenades in a bullet so to speak roughly 50% the power of a standard grenade. Still these things hurt and when Darian breaks them out in a fight that shows his opponent that he isn't holding back.
[/li][li]Short-Range Panzer Faust - Developed by special agencies to give a handgun more of a punch the weapon is fit over a pistol barrel-end with a special attachment. To fire the rocket one must fire a live standard round to send it flying. Keep in mind these have a limited range of fifty meters and a blast radius of five meters. Darian only carries a few of these at a time given the fact he likes them as a trump card.

Imbuement
The standard offensive means for the Gun Mage this imbuement are often done ahead of time. An imbuement lasts for a period of forty-eight hours once imbued and is handy to keep around at all occasions. Each imbuement takes one minute to prepare though it will get faster as Darian gains strength.
[/li][li]Defense Buster - The Defense Buster is to defense spells as armor piercing rounds is to Kevlar, namely it breaks through. This bullet imbuement shatters defenses as it breaks through to get the bullet to the target. Keep in mind that the Defense Buster does not work all the time at equal level (50%), works less with higher defenses (25%), and works better with weaker defenses (75%). This is often boiled down to Wisdom vs. Endurance to determine it.
[/li][li]Flash - A simple imbuement that gives a bright blinding flash of light blinding anything temporarily within fifty feet of the impact area. Flash is often the way to go and while simple it provides an effective means for Darian to pull out an emergency move.
[/li][li]Concussion Round - A simple imbuement that makes a shot hit with the force of a sledgehammer at the impact area generally knocking people off their feet. Not only that there is also the fact that the opponent will be dazed for a few seconds from the power of the blow. This is useful when trying to make your opponent miss some attacks.
[/li][li]Freeze Shot - Temporarily freezes an opponent with subzero cold that wears off rather quickly. This lasts for a few seconds at best. More importantly size does factor how fast the freeze sets in. For a human-sized creature the time is instant but, seconds steadily add on depending on the size of a creature.
[/li][li]Sonic Boom - A simple shot imbuement that cracks with a loud sonic boom noise upon striking a surface deafening anything within twenty feet for a short period of time. This is also useful for shattering anything sensitive to large sounds or mass air pressure changes.
[/li][li]Firestar Shot - The next in shot imbuement Firestar shot is a flame element attack that engulfs the target in temporary flames should the round hit. The flames last for several seconds before flickering out and deal a moderate amount of damage. This attack has no splash radius due to its concentrated nature.
Marksmanship
These spells are what make the Gun Mage truly fearsome as they help increase his accuracy or help him find his target. Marksmanship category spells are often what makes the difference for a Gun Mage in a hard to follow situation. These spells are used to help even the score against an opponent.
[/li][li]Hunter's Track - A simple spell that deals absolutely no damage to the enemy however, that does three things. One the opponent is surrounded by a harmless purple flame that ruins any invisibility magic. Two the spell allows the Gun Mage to detect his target as long as he or she is within two hundred meter range. Three and most importantly the spell's outlining of the target increases a Gun Mage's accuracy by a small amount.
[/li][li]Homing Shot - Homing Shot is the next level in shooting abilities the shot much harder to avoid then a normal round and actually compensates for enemy movements. However, just because it is harder to dodge does not mean it's impossible to avoid. Hunter's Mark must be up in order for the Homing Shot spell to be able to be use.
Sight Enhancement
Sight Enhancement is the basis of the Gun Mage's ability to pick out his targets in ranged combat and focus on giving him the needed vision in a fight. Oftentimes these spells sharpen a Gun Mage's perception to an incredible level allowing the Gun Mage to fight in even poor visibility conditions.
[/li][li]Falcon's Eye - The falcon is a bird that is said to be able to spot anything with its sharp eyesight even as it soars in the heavens above. This spell sharpens the Gun Mage's sight allowing him not only to see farther but, aim more precisely. This is generally used in conjunction with a sniper rifle as the ability requires the Gun Mage not to move while using it.
Reflex Enhancement
Reflex Enhancement decides a Gun Mage's ability to get through life or death situations. A Gun Mage relies on speed over power and the Reflex Enhancement spells help him realize that potential. It is often said that the Gun Mage can react in a blink of an eye and these spells help an opponent realize that.
[/li][li]Lightning Reload - This is the answer to a Gun Mage's problem during those oh so vulnerable reload points. Lightning Reload allows a Gun Mage to reload, draw, and holster weapons in a blink of an eye. While a Gun Mage is already fast at these due to his or her training the Lightning Reload makes him even faster.
Wielding Style
The Wielding Style spells are often known as the Gun Mage's special maneuvers. It is through these spells that a Gun Mage can perform incredible feats of gunmanship. These spells combine a Gun Mage's natural training and hones it to a higher level through magical energy.
[/li][li]Pistol Barrage - Think you can go through bullets quickly? The Gun Mage scoffs at it and show's you how you really do it. Using two pistol/revolver type weapons the Gun Mage's trigger fingers move at incredible speeds and he fires a barrage of bullets. Often Darian focuses this with his Glock or Browning but, regardless he has incredible firing speed using this attack.
[/li][li]Buster Blast - Darian must have SIX imbuement made ahead of time and have them in his Forest Raven. This attack is Darian's finishing strike and is almost never used. Not only does this use up all the energy in the imbuement but, it also takes a toll on Darian's energy as well and often leaves him weak after using the attack. This is Darian's ace in the hole as when he uses it he releases a powerful blast of energy straight at a target.
Jewel Magic
Taught to him by his love Shea, his first gem that he learned to access is the sapphire that he wears around his neck. Jewel magic requires that the user be touching the gem or in Darian's case merely wearing the necklace will suffice as he can tap into the energy since he's in physical contact with it. Darian only knows how to use the sapphire right now.
[/li][li]Ice Bullet Storm - A simple yet effective attack Darian will focus the energy at the tip of the Gun Barrel for a couple of seconds. After words he will pull the trigger causing a loaded bullet to rip through the energy and the bullet will take the energy with it. Wherever it hits a swirling storm of slashing ice shards will focus there and hit the impact area and anything within ten meters of it. This has a moderate drain on Darian's energy.
Alchemy
Learned from the Alchemic Master Sirius, Darian is still learning how to control it but, is rapidly learning. Darian has fine control and focus but, he is still working on his speed. Currently he knows the effects of transmutation and equivalent exchange. However, what else he will learn from his new teacher remains to be seen.
[/li][li]Conversion - Equivalent exchange principle what you start with you must end with in an equal amount. This requires some of Darian's mana to activate the transmutation circle either on a slip of paper or the one used on his gun. Darian's alchemic effects are double the effect thanks to the medallion Sirius gave him. Creativity is endless for the most part and Darian often uses this to create ammunition when he would normally be out.

Reflex Enhancement decides a Gun Mage's ability to get through life or death situations. A Gun Mage relies on speed over power and the Reflex Enhancement spells help him realize that potential. It is often said that the Gun Mage can react in a blink of an eye and these spells help an opponent realize that.
[/li][li]Lightning Reload - This is the answer to a Gun Mage's problem during those oh so vulnerable reload points. Lightning Reload allows a Gun Mage to reload, draw, and holster weapons in a blink of an eye. While a Gun Mage is already fast at these due to his or her training the Lightning Reload makes him even faster.
Wielding Style
The Wielding Style spells are often known as the Gun Mage's special maneuvers. It is through these spells that a Gun Mage can perform incredible feats of gunmanship. These spells combine a Gun Mage's natural training and hones it to a higher level through magical energy.
[/li][li]Pistol Barrage - Think you can go through bullets quickly? The Gun Mage scoffs at it and show's you how you really do it. Using two pistol/revolver type weapons the Gun Mage's trigger fingers move at incredible speeds and he fires a barrage of bullets. Often Darian focuses this with his Glock or Browning but, regardless he has incredible firing speed using this attack.
[/li][li]Buster Blast - Darian must have SIX imbuement made ahead of time and have them in his Forest Raven. This attack is Darian's finishing strike and is almost never used. Not only does this use up all the energy in the imbuement but, it also takes a toll on Darian's energy as well and often leaves him weak after using the attack. This is Darian's ace in the hole as when he uses it he releases a powerful blast of energy straight at a target.
Jewel Magic
Taught to him by his love Shea, his first gem that he learned to access is the sapphire that he wears around his neck. Jewel magic requires that the user be touching the gem or in Darian's case merely wearing the necklace will suffice as he can tap into the energy since he's in physical contact with it. Darian only knows how to use the sapphire right now.
[/li][li]Ice Bullet Storm - A simple yet effective attack Darian will focus the energy at the tip of the Gun Barrel for a couple of seconds. After words he will pull the trigger causing a loaded bullet to rip through the energy and the bullet will take the energy with it. Wherever it hits a swirling storm of slashing ice shards will focus there and hit the impact area and anything within ten meters of it. This has a moderate drain on Darian's energy.
Alchemy
Learned from the Alchemic Master Sirius, Darian is still learning how to control it but, is rapidly learning. Darian has fine control and focus but, he is still working on his speed. Currently he knows the effects of transmutation and equivalent exchange. However, what else he will learn from his new teacher remains to be seen.
[/li][li]Conversion - Equivalent exchange principle what you start with you must end with in an equal amount. This requires some of Darian's mana to activate the transmutation circle either on a slip of paper or the one used on his gun. Darian's alchemic effects are double the effect thanks to the medallion Sirius gave him. Creativity is endless for the most part and Darian often uses this to create ammunition when he would normally be out.
