Familiar Name: Kisanth
Familiar Gender: Female
Familiar Species: Dragon
Familiar Subspecies: Unknown
Familiar Eye Color: Silver
Species Description: Dragons are among the rarest and most powerful creatures in the world those said to be bonded with a dragon showing a rare and almost impossible to find character. A dragon’s mentality is generally associated with how much experiences he or she has amassed over the course of their immense lifetime. As a dragon grows older they grow more powerful but, dragons linked to their owners grow at an accelerated rate almost making it remarkable. Dragons are masters of telepathic speech and are adept linguists. According to many dragonologists, dragons are incredibly playful creatures and do enjoy a good riddle. Most of this being fluffed up nonsense as dragons like humans have their own unique mentalities. Still one thing for certain is that the exact number of dragon species is unknown.
Appearance: Kisanth is a young dragon only recently becoming born into the world she is actually the same age as Garth. Which of course putting Kisanth on a dragon age scale she’s only a wyrmling. Kisanth is still a large critter being nearly six feet tall already at shoulder height with a massive fourteen foot wingspan. She has a slightly elongated neck that’s nearly two-feet long now. Additionally Kisanth has a four-foot long reptile like-tail however, it’s very strong and is employed in fast tail-strikes. Kisanth’s scales are only now starting to lose their shimmer as they lean more towards a polished finish as they grow in toughness and strength. Keep in mind Kisanth is a natural predator and is adept at blending in with the environment and moving very quietly. Her claws and teeth are already razor-sharp and they get sharper as she gets older.
Personality: Keeping in mind that Kisanth is young she’s rather snippy can be a rotten brat when she wants to be. She’s rather playful well more mischevious then playful and like a cat always curious and exploring her surroundings. Kisanth tries to be good-natured and is always trying to strike a conversation with Garth. Given her youth and inexperience she’s not exactly the brightest or the wisest of creatures but, she’s a quick learner. Her ability at speaking to Garth mentally is firmly developed with the increased bond of master and familiar working to their benefit. Kisanth is a natural spell-caster and pays attention to such lessons as long as it’s interesting. She’s not really patient with things unless it has her thinking long and hard.
Spell List: These are the spells and abilities Kisanth currently has.
[/li][li]Breath Weapon – This is a natural ability for Kisanth and she can breathe natural twenty-foot jets of flame or streams of acid. Both have lingering damage as the flames either burn at a target or the acid continues eating away until it’s burned off. The downside is Kisanth can only use a breath weapon once every ten seconds meaning she has to be wise in her usage.
[/li][li]Enhanced Senses – Kisanth has sensitive hearing and a sharp sense of smell allowing her to even fight if she is blind or in an area where she can’t see normally. Not only can she fight but, she can fight nearly as well as seeing normally.
[/li][li]Resilience – Dragons as is are hearty creatures and incredibly resilient to most affects more importantly magical effects. By spending a small amount of energy Kisanth can cancel any status affects currently affecting her. Keep in mind if she’s hit with the status effect again she’ll have to recast the spell.
[/li][li]Fast Healing – Kisanth can burn her energy to quickly heal herself or Garth the more damage she heals the more energy this takes. However, the healing is an acceleration of the natural healing process and takes ten seconds to take full affect. Given the fact that it takes awhile for the spell to kick in even near-death injuries will only take a moderate amount of energy. Kisanth can only use this on herself or Garth.
[/li][li]Razor Winds – Imbuing her wings with magic Kisanth flaps them hard in the direction she wants the spell to go the wind strength amplified by the magic. Nearly unseen razors of focused wind are sent at an opponent in addition to the powerful gust. However, the spell relies on it’s area strike over precision hitting. Being as this requires physical action from Kisanth it uses only a small amount of energy.
[/li][li]Spell Scale – When a hostile spell is used against Kisanth and this ability is up Kisanth absorbs the spell into her hide and then can launch an energy bolt attack right back at the enemy using the power that was in the spell. Keep in mind Spell Scale can only absorb one spell at a time and uses a small amount of energy each time it’s used to absorb a spell. In addition if Kisanth doesn’t launch the energy bolt within ten seconds she takes double the damage the spell would have done to her.
[/li][li]Predator’s Prowl – Let’s face it Kisanth is not exactly a little creature and she won’t always have a terrain advantage. This ability makes Kisanth invisible to the naked-eye and also quiets her movements. The spell is broken was Kisanth launches an attack and only lasts a few minutes. The spell drains a small amount of energy with each casting.
