Jyo looked over at Thalomin and somthing about him seemed off. He couldn't place it though. And there was no reason given not to trust him. So Jyo held up Zaire's hand and kissed it gently before stepping back. "We can retire to another area after the promised dance." He said and looked at Thalomin again giving a slight nod as he walked to grab a beverage. He didn't think Thalomin would pull anything. But if he did Jyo would be there and Jyo had no reservations of raising hell if he did. But Jyo didn't think that would be an issue.

Darian smiled when they parted the dance it was always good to dance and glide with Shea in fact a part of him wanted a second dance but, then she mentioned the restaurant and he gave a smile at her. He returned the soft kiss his hand cupping her cheek sweetly as he kept her close to him. He smiled when they broke the kiss and gently tucked a lock of hair behind her ear that had gotten loose during the dancing.
"Then we'll get something to eat something a cut above the norm that we usually share I want everything to be perfect tonight with you Shea."
He said softly to her as he encircled his arm in hers and walked with her to the Restaurant.

Again he felt the rewarding feel of her lips on his forehead the cool touch always unique but, sometimes it felt warmer when they had been togeather for awhile. He felt her fingers trail in her hair slightly as he danced with her across the floor and almost gave a small smile. He could quite reach her hair while dancing but, that was ok as long as he moved across the floor with her gracefully. He felt his hair brushed aside and Jade kissing the ear that she had pierced. The same ear that she had pierced last night causing a small shiver to go down his spine as he nearly lost count and slightly stumbled in his movement.
DAMN IT TO HELL! Resisting her is impossible...
Just give in Khel...
I'm sure she's good with pe......
The stud in his ear shimmered as he looked up at her a bit self-conscious now but, he took it in stride as the dance ended and he smiled at her.
"What say we hit the bar or the arcade and chill for a few I don't have your years of practice on the floor," he said with a smile.

The dance ended and Thalo came asking for his dance. About to explain that this was her fiance' that he had finally arrived.. but she was cut off. Jyo it seemed didn't have a problem giving her up and she stared at him in disbelief. He had only just returned and was willing to give her up so easiliy.
Her mouth closed as tears sprang to her eyes. Having become it seemed a bit more sensitive where she and Jyo were concerned since the coma. She looked at Thalo.
"I'm sorry." she whispered and looked back at Jyo walking away.
Tears too heavy to see after her eyes blurred and she left the dance floor. In a flourish of blonde curls and satin skirt she made her way to the door. She wasn't going to stand there and be passed around like some toy at Christmas. Throwing the doors open without saying another word and went out onto the starlight deck. She was much much too pissed to want people around her.
Moving to the abandoned back of the ship. Her heels clicked loudly on the wooden planks. Reaching a deck chair she sank into it and the sobs began. Pulling her legs up to her chest she put her arms around them holding them close as her forehead leaned against her knees. Her face staring into her lap as the tears drops fell from her eyes her shoulders shaking and her blonde hair hanging around her like a thick curtain.

"Zaire whats.... Wait!" Jyo said and completely forggeting The man Zaire had promised to dance with he ran after her suddeny not really caring about anything else on the ship. "Zaire wait!" He shouted running after her out of the ballroom. This wasn't how he had wanted the night to go. But then again his ability to screw things up horribly was showing through again

His hands moved on her hips as they danced and he mentioned her hair. She smiled and blushed and nodded. She leaned in and kissed Angra gently on the lips her hand running through his beautiful hair.
"Thank you, I hoped you would like it. I think I"m going to keep it." she said softly.
The song was a slow one and she in a way was happy for that because it meant that she and Angra could be closer together now. She lay her head on his shoulder her pink hair trailing down her back and around her shoulders.
"Thank you for bringing me Angra. I love you." she whispered the last three words for just him as she kissed his neck gently while they danced.

Not all would be with dates or merrily speaking amongst themselves. It would be most trying otherwise if there were not some who swore to ensure that fair play was in these very halls. Sir Lanji Romano gazed at the crowd that was dancing below almost sensing the rampant feelings that ran through the very charged and magical air. Not magical in the magic that is most abused and inhumanely man. Rather instead the magic of love and emotion that was granted from the heavens themselves. Lanji wore a beautiful mail-suit with the links tempered to where they had a blue tinge to each link. The overall effect made the armor shimmer and glow. Lanji stood with an imposing figure the ceremonial broadsword hanging at his side and glimmering in the artificial lighting that made this room almost seem like a dream. A tabard of deep blue was worn over his armor the crest of the Romano family and the church both on it.
Heavy steel gauntlets covered his hands as he stood with a figure that could command but, for now it was almost as if he were a guardian of the evening of delight and wonders. After all not everyone would be of demure and happiness and Lanji would ensure that those that were not were swiftly dealt with. A gentle hoot sounded from his shoulder as he gazed at Tacet. The beautiful snow-white owl was standing on his shoulder wearing a silver medallion collar that fitted it perfectly. The medallion having a cross on it as well showing the affiliation of Lanji. A deep white cape with elegant silver trim was attached to his shoulder pauldrons. He looked like a knight straight from a fairy tale his hair held back by a golden scalp-lock that almost merged with his hair. He looked regal and imposing but, at the same time soft and kindly. He was a knight that was his code and honor was his guide.
Be at ease faithful Tacet this evening should be a most magical one.
A soft hooting trill sounded from the owl as gently fingers that had long mastered dexterity from within the glove stroked the owl’s soft head feathers.

Midori entered the ballroom for the second time only this time she had tears rolling down her cheeks. She made her way to the back of the room where they had chairs sitting for those wanting to dance. She didn't really want to persay but she didn't feel like standing either.
She sat down in one of the seats and put her head in her hand as she cried softly her bare shoulders shaking softly as she tried to forget about the fact that she had totally screwed up. She wiped her tears away but they continued to fall.

It was crystalline tears that would catch Lanji’s attention the knight turning his attention to a young maiden who had an innocence that radiated from her. His eyes opened slightly in acknowledgement as he recognized her presence but, sensed her pain that ravaged her lovely face. He gazed at her for a brief moment and then decided that he had something that must be done. To ensure that this maiden would have a beautiful knight of happier memories rather then one full of sadness and grief. A knight by life. That was Lanji’s morals and he would cling to him even unto his dying breath. The knight strode to her gracefully the heavy armor weighing on his body making surprisingly little noise. Such was the craftsmanship of the church. He approached the small flighty woman whose tears caused a slight pang in Lanji to see such an innocent girl suffer a terrible evening. More importantly when the evening was such an important one tonight.
Sweet gentle Tacet this girl is troubled we must help her and give her the kindness and grace so that she may remember this night. Not cast it away like a rose that is no longer of interest to a noblewoman.
He gave a bow as he approached her and removed a gauntlet from his hand drawing a handkerchief.
“Wipe thine eyes fair maiden thou should not cry during such an important event where magic rules the heart this very eve. Such tears falling from the face of an innocent should be wiped away by the breath of happiness so that you may cherish this eve that is of once in a lifetime.”
His voice was rich and noble-sounding as he wiped the tears from her cheeks and then wiped her eyes. Large hands that were well-suited to a broadsword and shield were capable of such care and tenderness.

After hapahazerdly throwing his clothes back on Corsair ran after Midori. He wasn't sure where she went but he had asked people on the ship and found out she had went to the ballroom. He was in a ruffeld state. His shirt unbuttoned his slacks wrinkeld and his slicked back hair back in it's loose fashion. He soon found Midori and crouched next to her. "Hey there. You know that even in this state you're easily the most beautiful girl here." He said putting an arm around her and pulling her in close and his other hand went through her hair.

Midori cried into her lap as she thought about what had happened in the decks below. She just wasn't ready and she had done the worst thing by letting Corsair only get so far before telling him that. And that look of sheer diappointment would never leave her mind.
Someone knelt in front of her and he was too .. broad to be Corsair so honestly she didn't pay attention until his rather large hand came up wiping her tears away. She looked up to see a fairy tale knight in front of her and she smiled weakly as he spoke in the english of old. His eyes they held such inner light and his actions seemed to calm her a little.
"I just.. " she began but she didn't know what to say and she knew she couldn't really explain what had happened. She just wasn't ready there was no real explanation to it.
But soon Corsair showed up looking rather disheveled. He had obviously gotten dressed quickly and he came over sitting down right next to her and pulling her close running a hand through her now down hair as he called her beautiful. She nodded softly and took the hankercheif gently from Lanji and sat up on her own in her own chair and used it to wipe her tears.
"I'm sorry." she whispered softly as she wiped her eyes again gently.

"Foul man thou approaches a woman in thine disheveled state? It is no wonder she is of such sadness and tear-ridden state thou takest advantage of her purity for thine own carnal lust,” Lanji said as he cast a disproving look at the one who just arrived gazing at the disheveled state of the man. From the way he spoke he was her date of the evening. This was the man that made such an innocent maiden cry? He should be punished out right.
To make a woman cry is to make the heavens themselves cry because the purity and innocence are one and the same. He should be struck down this very moment by the pure light of God himself. Judgment has already been decreed this man should not be allowed to approach her for what he hast done.
Lanji looked at her for a mere moment and gave her an almost reassuring smile as he let her hold the handkerchief to wipe her eyes and at least give some semblance of calm and happiness that ruled her face earlier. This man no this fiend came at her already whispering slick words to try and tempt her once more. It was obvious that it was he who had made such a beautiful girl cry. He wanted to smite him with one of his gauntleted fists and for a moment he considered acting in such rashness. He did not though instead he let the code guide his hand which was stilled by his side as he cocked a brow at him automatically touching her. To require touch to apologize only showed that he had physical intentions with her rather then pure ones. He shook his head regally for a moment the owl hooting softly on his shoulder as he gazed at this other man. He had no doubt in his mind that the girl would need a proper escort this eve. One that would not take advantage of her purity.
“Is this the man responsible for your tears fare lady? If it is thou should’st be wary. If he has made you cry once with his words and comes at you in disheveled state and foul touch rather then pure intentions then I advise caution.”

"No I'm sorry. You have no reson to apologize." Corsair said smiling softly and holding her close. Then the man nearby spoke up. Corsair glared at him. "How about you not try and pass judgment on things you don't know about. It could make for a nasty chain of events I'm sure we'de both like to avoid." He said with a calm tone but with an edge to his voice. Corsair doubted this guy even knew what he was speaking of. "So drop the saintly bull crap."

Lanji tch’ed softly as he gazed at the man trying to ‘hold’ the maiden when it was obvious that she was trying to sit up on his own. More importantly the barbaric tone that this man took was in many ways insulting. He was trying to touch her intimately in public as well another mark against him that Lanji coolly observed. Saintly? He was a knight. This man had no idea what he spoke of so rudely. He had no clue what he was referring to and his uncouth threat was poorly hidden. In fact his tone said it all and again he received a mark against him in Lanji’s mind. This man was something that should be appropriately dealt with in honorable fashion. Not only to prevent him from hurting the maiden but, to also acknowledge that this man had crossed the line. His eyes were moving from the maiden’s to the man’s eyes again that disheveled appearance made Lanji want to pick him up and fling him across the room.
Acting in rashness will only weaken my cause. I must act above that.
Lanji gave a small little noise as he removed the heavy steel gauntlet and threw it to the marble floor. A thunderous noise echoed through the room pausing, the dance for the moment as Lanji gazed at Corsair. He didn’t know the man’s name but, he was surely going to know it before this evening was over. He let the noise echo and paused for dramatic effect.
“First thou not only hurt the feelings of an innocent young maiden,” he indicated Midori with a wave of his large hand the insides of his palm calloused attesting to his training with weapons. “Then thine snake-like tongue dares to threaten me? Stand aside thine witless feelings or else like the villain from a tale thou shalt not have a victorious end,” His voice rose to almost thunderous measure as he let the whole room know.
“With the throwing of mine gauntlet I declare that you shall not hurt the maiden again and by the honor of the knighthood I shalt defend her. Should’st thou wish to challenge then do so honor-bound or turn thine rat-like gaze away from her and go insult someone else that might be as affected by thine treacherous words.” Lanji declared in a loud voice.
Tacet fluttered off Lanji’s shoulder and landed on Midori’s lap giving a soft hoot as the intelligent eyes met hers.

Corsair sighed. he raised his left arm and his armour there appeared bearing already extended blades and his arm lit on fire with the flames also extending to the blades. "Listen. You are getting into a matter that has nothing to do with you. She and I had some sligh issues and I'm being kind enough and caring enough to come after her and apologize. And now you come simply insulting me for no true reason except that you seem to want and make others think I'm some sort of vermin. It's people like you that cause alot of unplesentness seeming to think you have some authority to judge others. Now I could easily kill you right now. But I'm not a murderer and this is supposed to be a fun night. So how about you let me comfort my girlfriend and butt out before things get ugly." He said as the rest of his dark armour appeared.
