If not.. I say.... Chopin. He was good too. Probably wrong art, but still, music is an art...

hmm..depends on what your looking for.
If you want to baffle art teachers with complex(looking) but amazingly simple pictures, try M.C Escher.
If you want beautiful simplicity, try japanese zen ink/waterpaint art.
Gustav Kint or Picasso for abstract art..(or mosaiq)
For traditional ethic art, you can also try Japanese woodblock prints.
Scenery - Monet or so. for freaky pictures - Salvador Dali?
And finally, for constructive/slightly architectural art, Leonardo DaVinchi?
