That's why i recommended you to ask at the official Reaper forums - there're a lot of knowledge, potential issues and fixes. Spend some money on a good DAW that people know NOW and make money NOW. Why is it that people must insist on dodging the here and now for something sucky and free that might be good tomorrow? That's actually not my opinion at all. To me, the spirit and emotional energy of the musicians' performances, is where sound quality MOSTLY rests.
