I usually use it whenever my character meets someone, if its a bad meeting the karma of the person goes down, if its good then it goes up, just how I use it.

I just do it to people That Shadow meets like Tristan for example sience Shadow likes Tristan I rase it if Shadow hates the person I lower it. I dunno it is kinda fun to mess around with peoples Karma rateing though. (ah crap I just repeate what Leon said who cares)
