I, Administrator Designer aka Auroth, officially declare Arcane Academy Dead.
That is not to say that the board will not get rebuilt... all it means is that AA is paused.
Players may continue posting... but the staff has officially stopped support.

For all of you who don't know, this board just didn't have enough people. It had perfect plans, just not enough people. If you'd like to continue your Administrated and Moderated RP meritime, I suggest you look for Twilight in te Advertisement section. Watcher could use some activity over there.
As far as te rest of us, there, of course, will be boards in the making. The want for a storyline of a character and the want for a board, both of the same theme, become very mixed in thought. Suggestions for boards are not needed. Rather, we want your knowledge to help us build our theme of a board. Instead of, "This is a Magic Academy," "These are the Three Kingdoms," "This already happened, but let's RP it," "This is a school with low supervision," we want why. We want an extremely huge history of why the present time and events exist on your board. We don't want them there because of what happened after you RPed there, we want a big page of reading and subjected legends to build off of.
An equivilent of maybe 30 pages in a book would be desired. This is all from you, may you accept. We are not forcing you, but if you decide to want to make a board that goes into the history of RP boards like Xin did (I'll give them credit, their cartoon gave them quite a bit of back story, but they didn't follow-up correctly), then you must plan months ahead. Don't just build a board with a theme and no story. Anyone that throws their dice to the future will fail against those who pick up their swords and stop playing games; get serious.
Help me, you will fall under times of stress and anger, and I will administer both this pain and frustration, but you will also be rewarded by idolizing, adoring players. You will be placed above all. Lest they attempt to rise against you, they will be placed in premonition. Declination is perfectly fine, I will understand. Accept my offer, however, do not be suprised if I expect more than just loyalty.

It is a sad song that fills the ears of those few present here today to mark the temporary cease of moderated activity at the Arcane Academy. The song is a requiem in honor of characters made, posts crafted, battles won and lost, the clash and clamor of a thousand fictional voices, given spirit and life by the wills of very real people. It is not, however, without a hopeful note. Though the standard no longer flies as it once did, AA remains as a monument to fantastic creative freedom and epic pseudo-reality manifested in text, and its people have gone forth to populate other boards with their unique brands of roleplay and creativity.
One day, should its banner be unfurled and flutter gallantly in the Babylosian stratosphere-winds yet again, it may just be that its myriad supporters of old shall march forth once more from the fog of time, and make a new stand. Until that time, remain vigilant and carry your experiences with you, hopefully with positive connotation. And so I close, leaving only the admonition that endings cannot truly be written.

That's somewhere between 100 and 110% true because the people in charge really don't know wtf they're doing. Auroth does, that's why he had like... what, two years here? Two good years, let's call it. Lots of other boards have ended a lot sooner because they don't know what they're doing. They're trash.
