Name: Hakfu Song
Appearance:
Occupation: Spell Caster Summoner Variant
Nationality: Chinese
Height: 5'5
Weight: 155 lbs
Age: 27
Hair Color: Black
Eye Color: Brownish-Black
Preffered Hand: Right
Personality: Observent, he is one of the quiet types. Although not neccesarily shy, he refrains from talking with those he is unfamiliar with. Even then, when the barriers are broken, he is a fairly quiet person. This changes when battle is engaged... as can be figured by him leading his summons. Falters, however.
History: It was not the best childhood, but then, some have been far off worse. Hakfu Song did have a mother and a father. It was the length of time that he had them upon which is rather more trying. As one of the members of the Hakfu Clan, their Clan were of the practitioners of the Oriental Magical School Branch, Summoning Specialty. It consisted of summoning an entity using some of the few words of the Ancient Language, and tarot cards. By no means was it the most effective method of summoning, and it was even a risky way of summoning and binding but, it was one that the Hakfu had passed down from generation to generation.
Upon the age of seven, his father deemed it time to show Hakfu Song their clan's power, and awakened his own powers through the ritual acts. Half-way through the ceremony, however, fate had finally decided it was time. Chinese demons had gotten lucky, it seems, and actually been in a nearby location to detect the dark matter... thus, the ceremony was incomplete, and Hakfu was left in a state of a 'half-life' awakening.
Awaking a week later, he found that he was in an orphanage. His parents had disappeared. Only speculation came from this, in his mind, as he furrowed deep in the nights, wondering why he felt like there was a huge amount of pressure in him. It wasn't... it didn't feel right, whatever it was. It wanted out, and he wanted it out. The effects of this mysterious 'pressure' went on throughout his childhood, never really trying to get along with other kids, just waiting, thinking, always thinking on what happened, and what's going on. Thus, his social skills were, and are lacking.
His story begins, however, upon his eighteen birthday. Finally a legal adult, and out of that orphanage, he set out to do what he had always wanted: To finish the ritual.
Again, luck was not on his side. From the documents released to him by the orphanage.. he found that his house had never been bought again, and had been broken into, repeatedly. The ritual books, or whatever they were, were not there. Ironically, the only book left pertaining to anything there was of a book pertaining to a more perverse way of summoning, as part of history in summonings. That is mentioned in the styles, however..
Finally having awakened his innate ability, although somewhat forcibly, the pressure in his body disappeared. He spent the next few years practicing, practicing, practicing, until... he heard of a certain school for magic.. and that, at the age of twenty-seven, is where the real story shall begin.
Spell Fighting Style:
[glow=red,2,300][shadow=brown,left,300]Blood Elemental Summoning Variant[/shadow]:[/glow]
Requires:
-Ritual Dagger
-Summoner's Blood Per Summoning
-Blank Tarot Card
-Corresponding Prayer
-Summoner's Soul
-Ceremonial Fan
The Ritual:
This 'Dark Arts', is more in the terms of warlock magic. The ritual per summoning requires the summoner to cut himself a little, so as to get obtain his blood to bind the seal. With the blood fresh on the Ritual Dagger, the tip of the dagger is used to gently write the corresponding deity's name on the blank tarot card. Holding the card up, a prayer must be issued, and repeated, all focus on bringing out the elemental deity.. it the prayer is accepted, the tarot card is either burned to ashes, struck by lightning, or dissolves into water, depending on the deity. Then, the deity will come out of the summoner's body into a corporal form.
The Deity:
All three of the deities require the use of the summoner's soul in order to use their spells, as well as to maintain corporal form. The fact of the matter is, that despite the different qualities the three deities have, they are all the one and the same, but just take on a different elemental form, pending on which prayer is issued. At the same time, they act as if different entities, as each deity has their own job for specific situations. However, by themselves, they do nothing. The summoner must issue commands and chants, and certain movements, majority of them directed with Hakfu's ceremonial fan... so, in a way, the deity acts as an extension of the summoner. Hakfu Song himself must issue the verbal prayer so as to use the Deity's different spells, pending on the element that is being used. Also, stats gained for the specific deity will only go for that specific deity, sort of like, how if you use a skill often, that will increase, but not your other skills.
Consequences:
As aforementioned... to keep the Deity in corporal form, it requires a constant steady feed of the summoner's soul. It uses even more so to use spells. The summoner must becareful not to use more then he is able to... or else, the spell and the summon will cancel out immediatly, and send the summoner into a backlash, which may vary in severity and time. Therefore, on the battlefield, he'll be a sitting duck and will get torn apart by any remaining foes.
Soul and Energy:
The difference between energy and soul is that Soul takes longer to regenerate, and it will leave Hakfu in a state of incredible emptiness, hollowness, and pain, should majority of his soul be drained. He uses this in combination with his energy so as to even be able to sustain such deities in the first place.
Even if the deity is dismissed successfully, before the summoner loses all his energy, that will basically be it for that battle for that day. It is safe to say that Hakfu must choose his battles... wisely.

Kai (Fire Deity)
Kai Description: The fire deity version uses mostly its hands to strike painful searing blows into enemies, sometimes shredding them, sometimes used to block hits on itself. Its body is mostly just the element of fire captured within the outermost layer of armor. No flesh can contain its fighting will, thus, this form is neccesary. It is a representitive of anger, and uses much energy and soul to sustain.
Kai Strengths: With the fire deity out, his main strength is against things such as wood, or men in armor. Is strong against physical attacks, especially as it has so few weak spots on itself. It will absorb fire attacks
Kai Weaknesses: As can be guessed, its weakness is any elemental spell, excepting fire, but water in particular. His weakness, in particular, should you use a physical attack, is his head.
Kai Spells:
-Diablo's Breath: This requires use of both of Hakfu's hands. Extending his arms out before himself, both hands opened out wide, palms facing the enemy, the hands will tilt to each other in a fourty-five degree angle, upwards. Then, Hakfu Song must issue the prayer, saying, "Kai, Deity of Fire and Anger, breathe on them. Inferno de Ragross und Fier." Kai will acknowledge the prayer, if he has enough prayer, by responding on the battlefield, saying, "Ish nuu." If he does not recognize the prayer, either because it is done improperly, or because he does not have enough energy, Kai will respond, saying, "Dogom."
Despite how intimidating this sounds, it is not actually that lethal. It's a one-time use spell, as Kai doesn't have that much energy to expend on spells, preferring more to fight hand-to-hand. Kai will begin to amass a small ball of fire and energy, forming a sphere the size of your head, hands encircling it, making a one-thousand eighty degree encirclement around it. When the amassing is complete, Kai will launch it at the enemy with his hands, but it is possible for this spell to miss. The sphere spell, on contact, will spill open, feeding on the air around. However, it is only fire, and without proper substances to feed its hunger, the magic feeding the spell will run out within a minute, and the fire will die naturally.
-Flame Blade: "Flamethos Bladethos!" is the prayer. Kai will simply saturate the sword that Hakfu holds, giving it a more burning taste on flesh, should it land.
Kai Stats:
-Strength: 16+4
-Dexterity: 10
-Endurance: 20+7
-Intelligence: 7
-Wisdom: 5
-Energy: 7+3
Kai EXP: 14
Dai (Lightning Deity):
Dai Description: A more physical version then Kai, Dai is strangely faster, although weaker in its attacks. Its moderately balanced in terms of speed, attack, and spells, and uses its lightning blade to slash at foes. It isn't the best cutting tool, in actuallity, but, its speed makes up for it.
Dai Strengths: Speed, it is a balanced deity to fight against. Although any elemental spell, except lightning based attacks, will do good damage against Dai, Dai's speed makes it more as strength against it. Dodging and evading are also to Dai's liking.
Dai Weaknesses: Elemental spells, excepting lighting based attacks, if they can hit him. A balanced deity, both physical attacks and spells will do decent damage to him, provided they hit. He isn't the fastest d**n thing alive, but, he does have an edge against weaker, more sluggish foes.
Dai Spells:
-Boost: Pointing his ceremonial fan at an ally, or himself, he must then issue the following prayer, saying, "Divinity graces, acceleration. Yathos sun Vra und praethee." Dai will respond as Kai does, either saying yes with "Ish nuu." or no with "Dogom." He will then grant the selected person a bonus of +1 dexterity for the duration of the battle, by first walking up to the selected, putting his hand on their forehead, and giving them a jolt of blessed lightning, increasing reaction rate and movement speed. It will hurt a little.
-Spark: Pointing his ceremonial fan vertically at the desired foe, Hakfu Song will extend his arm, his palm also wide opened, and tilt at a fourty-five degree angle towards the fan, before issuing the prayer, saying, "To protect, we must harm. Electhos van jubilie de anthos Dai." Again, Dai will either respond yes or no, and then, point its palm at the desired foe, and give a short blast of electricity. Its a very low-cost spell, but then, it doesn't do much internal damage. It will, however, do 'some' internal damage, and thus, if used repeatedly, this can do a lot overtime. The added effect of the short initial stun, and then static electric slowing down can make this a fairly effective spell.
-Elec-Defenthos: Moving the fan move inbetween the two hands, as Hakfu put them together in a slap, flipped them around in a circle, dropping the fan as he did, and then, baring the palms of his hands, his fingers fully extended as he did, continuing his prayer, almost as if in continuation of his summoning, Hakfu must issue the prayer, saying, "Dai Defenthos sheltera an li protect." Imagining a huge, impenetrable, electrical shield, Dai will acknowledge the attack, and holding out its hands, project out a mighty shield.
By using up energy, every turn to keep this shield up, all attacks will be met with electrical resistence, all metal ones being held in place by the shield. Since the shield is in corporel form, it can protect against other physical and magical attacks as well, unless the spell overpowers the shield, which would only happen if the user doesn't have enough energy.
-Elec-Reflecthos: With 'Elec-Defenthos' still up, if any metal objects are caught in the electrical field circulating on the shield, Hakfu Song may issue a prayer, saying, "Direceta Aima anima charugo de targeto." This will redirectal all metal objects towards where ever the shield is pointing, and shoot them in that general direction.
-Pent-Lightning: The prayer is "Da mai und pent de likereri vas shirmenshai." Dai will acknowledge and charge up his hand. By pointing his Ceremonial Fan at the target, and saying "wan, dwous, free, vour, ive" whether with spaces between them, a blue-white electrical bolt will sail in a stream at the target. So long as Hakfu points his fan at the target, he's able to provide limited aiming for the direction of the bolts, as there are five in all that can be released with any of the five words, whether all at once, or with time spare. There is a very moderate amount of energy used up in using this.
-Lightning Blade: "Electhos bladethos!" is the prayer, and Dai will just saturate the sword that Hakfu holds with electrical energies, giving it a more 'shocking' strike, should it land, and even a small jolt through the hand may be felt if a metal shield is used to defend.
Dai Stats:
-Strength: 10
-Dexterity: 15+14
-Endurance: 10
-Intelligence: 10
-Wisdom: 10
-Energy: 10
Dai EXP: 14
Sai (Water Deity):
Sai Description: The most unique, most powerful supporter, it is the weakest, physically, compared to all of the other Deity versions. Sai is the calm representitive. He stands alongside Hakfu Song, and casts spells... generally, if you can get past its defenses, Sai will be easily defeated, therefore making Sai completely a party-support Deity, and perhaps one of the most useful, when in a group. Although a warlock-inspired summon, this version of the deity came from clerical origins, hence its supportive and defensive capabilities.
Sai Strengths: Its strengths are in its spells and its support. It has no offensive spells whatsoever, but, its defensive spells, like its water barrier is what makes Sai an interesting choice.
Sai Weaknesses: Exempting water, only lighting-based spells or attacks can get through Sai's shields and defenses. It has absolutely the very minimal amount of endurance, so, when its energy runs out, Hakfu must dismiss it immediatly, get his sword out. It is reliant on surviving in a party.
Sai Spells:
-Self-Preservation: This is a passive spell. It is the shield that defends Sai so well, making swords just slide off at strange angles, no matter how hard you would strike at him. However, despite the magic dampener effect, every strike will take away from Sai's overall energy... keep pounding, and eventually, the barrier will be broken. But, the monsters should be worrying about the other party members who are attacking it, instead of worrying about this defensive creature. This 'Self-Preservation' spell, however, can do nothing to defend against any lightning-based spells or attacks, and will easily defeat Sai with a single hit.
-Water Shield: Pointing his fan at the party member and holding the two forefingers of his hand, pointing them to his lips, or selecting himself by holding his hands into a prayer like position, Hakfu will issue the prayer, saying, "Protect. Slidius vater seemann defenthos und firmanent." Sai will acknowledge, saying "Ish nuu." or "Dogom." and will hold its arms before it, facing the target. It will begin channeling the divinity goodness of water, its hand half-curled, looking as if its around the target from its own view, and cast the shield.
The shield acts like Sai's 'Self-Preservation', only significantly weaker. However, potentially fatal blade attacks at the arteries, or the neck, will be slowed down only, at worst, into a deep gash. It works through the water that summons around the blade, when making contact on the casted upon's flesh, heavily lessening the blow. However, if enough force is used, of course, no shield can completely defend as a 'save-all'. This will only last for four rounds of a fight, and uses a moderate amount of Sai's energy.
-Healing Waters: Ah... a spell of healing. Very anti-warlock type spell, Warlock spells being of destruction, particularly on the spellcaster himself... unless..?
Hakfu Song must put away his fan, and use his Ritual Dagger to cut open a wound, so that he can bleed on the wounded party member's wounds. Once done, Sai will immediatly recognize Hakfu Song's action. However, Hakfu Song must then use both his hands, by putting them on the wounded party member's shoulder, and issue the prayer, saying, "Blood giveth. Wholesome restorith firmament divineth Dei Dai."
Sai will then nod, and then walk over to Hakfu and put his hands on Hakfu's shoulders, and begin channeling Hakfu's soul onto the wounds with Hakfu's blood, healing them almost immediatly, but putting an immense strain on Hakfu Song. If it uses up all of Sai's energy, or Hakfu's, Sai will dismiss himself, with no penalty, although, Hakfu will be left in a drained state. He can only use this spell on others, not himself. This uses... a lot of energy, and a lot of soul. It shows, however, that Hakfu is willing to give up a lot to save his allies..
-Oceanic Bless: Pointing his fan vertically at his comrade, Hakfu must then mention the prayer, uttering "Bless thee. Endureth further, firmament und Oceanus." Sai will then either acknowledge yes or no, and then, aiming one of its palms at the party member, will flash its eyes, and a blast of water in a blessing pattern will form underneath the casted upon, and the effected will gain +1 dexterity for the rest of the battle, as the water nourishes the affected character.
-Touch of Water: The air around the chosen one will be saturated by Sai's magic, to add water to him. Strength will be increased by 1 pts, using minimal energy. Prayer is, "Strengthos ithos oceanus granthos."
-Ice Wall: By using a vial of water, or being in a particularly damp area, Sai will saturate the area around them heavily with magic, and form garner it together before himself and his party and form an ice wall. It isn't the greatest defense, but, the important thing is that it buys time. It will break rather easily under heavy blows, or magic, or anything else.
-Ocean's Generosity:
By putting a hand on the chosen, Sai will follow the same. The caster must issue the prayer, saying: "Generosity de energe und oceanus blessun." +3 pts of energy will be transferred.
-Purifying Water:
"Pathogos eliminatos remova dos purity de vater." Having said the prayer, and aiming his fan or refering to the person, Sai will respond, and if he agrees, he will walk over to the selected person or thing and purify it from ailments. Cures of most poisons and paralysis. Provides minor healing, and eases burns and wounds.
Sai Stats:
-Strength: 5
-Dexterity: 5
-Endurance: 5
-Intelligence: 15+9
-Wisdom: 10
-Energy: 25+5
Sai EXP: 14
Hakfu Song:
Normal Strengths: Without any of the deities, Hakfu Song is literally left in a very vulnerable position, with only his ritual dagger and his jian to defend himself with. Without armor, he is at least faster, and thus, so are his sword and dagger strikes, but unfortunetly, he is not skilled at any blade technique..
Normal Weaknesses: By himself, he is unarmored, and, with little endurance, can take only a few blows before getting knocked out, or killed. In a way, he is his own worst enemy, as he is completely reliant on his Deity for combat, and his own Deity makes him weaker, whenever the Deity is in use.
Spell List:
-Kai: This summons the fiery version of the deity, known as Kai. The verse of prayer is: [shadow=red,left,300][glow=brown,2,300]"Hirthos divinity firago Kantan erupa van firmanent des dei Kai."[/glow][/shadow]
-Maintain Kai: This is used automatically in every post following Kai's initial summoning. One-fifth of Hakfu Song's total energy capacity is used to maintain Kai every round.
-Dai: This summons the lightning-based version of the deity, known as Dai. The verse of prayer is: [shadow=brown,left,300][glow=yellow,2,300]"Hirthos divinity thundero Kantan lightle van firmanent des dei Dai."[/glow][/shadow]
-Maintain Dai: This is used automatically in every post following Dai's initial summoning. One-tenth of Hakfu Song's total energy capacity is used to maintain Dai every round.
-Sai: This summons the watery version of the deity, known as Sai. The verse of the prayer is: [glow=blue,2,300][shadow=brown,left,300]"Hirthos divinity watergo Kantan onsoona van firmanent des dei Sai."[/shadow][/glow]
-Maintain Sai: This is used automatically in every post following Sai's initial summoning. One-tenth of Hakfu Song's total energy capacity is used to maintain Sai every round.
-Attack: Pointing at someone with his fan, and muttering "Kattackthos!", the deity Kai or Dai will charge at the enemy, and begin engaging in hand-to-hand combat. Sai, the support version of the deity, does not pay heed to this command. Since this is a command, and with verbal utterance, except for the breath used to issue the prayer, this requires no energy or soul, and is sort of like a soldier following a general's orders. However, Hakfu Song, once engaging the attack, must personally involve himself, mentally, to direct the deity, so that they can evade and dodge attacks, making himself more physicall vulnerable, due to the increased amount of concentration.
-Defend: Holding the fan to cover his face, and issuing the prayer/command, saying, "Kakdefenthos!", the Deity will follow the order by defending Hakfu Song and any of Hakfu's comrades in the battle. So, a passive sort of attack. This is one of the often used commands/spells that Hakfu uses. Because he lets the Deity does as it pleases to defend them, this allows Hakfu and his allies to be fairly well defended, though, of course, not completely, and requres no additional soul or energy. Sai is exempt from this, as it is incapable of defending even itself, havning no way to attack.
-Dismiss: Used equally for all versions of the Deity, Hakfu will dismiss the Deity from the corporal planes, and end the drain on his soul and energy, by using a burst of one-tenth of his own energy capacity. If he uses this when he has less then the required soul and energy, Hakfu Song will go through a backlash and blackout.
