Name:
Veyugan Galyant
Occupation:
Apprentice
Nationality:
Japenese
Height:
5'10''
Weight:
175
Age:
19
Hair Color:
Red. Lighter red near roots, and darker near ends.
Eye Color:
Blood red
Appearance:
Formal:
He wears a instantly recognizable outfit. It consists of a black leather Japenese jacket. The jacket is slightly cut-off and bears a crescent moon upon the back. A long, white under-shirt goes under his jacket, and goes down almost touching his knees. The pants that are strapped around his legs are a deep red color, and are tight against his body. A red belt is tied just below each knee cap. Although not a smart idea - It trains him, and he seems to like it.
Casual:
His regular red pants with the belt attached. The only thing different, is that he doesn't wear his white undershirt, or jacket. A simple black button up shirt is worn. An accessory to this would be his deep-red tinted glasses.
Personality:
Veyugan is a solitary, self-important person who serves no master but himself. However, he's by no means a villain. He has no desire to hurt those who aren't directly in his way and his attitude in most situations is usually that of indifference. He doesn't care what you believe, what you care about, or anything else that has any regard for you. He just doesn't care. However, if you are in his way of anything - let it be picking up something off the ground, or inbetween him and a target - consider yourself dead. Although, Veyugan doesn't like others being bullied, or used in any way. Such as mind-control, blackmail, and rape. If Veyugan sees any of these, he will step in, and try to control the conflict. Even though he is a - what is classified as a - good person, he does everything for the good of humanity, but in a destructive way.
History:
Veyugan was born in Yokohoma, Japan. The city itself was huge. Inhabited by millions of people, Veyugan and his family were always crowded. In his family, there was himself, his mother, his father, and his younger sister. In their family, they all looked similar in one way. The younger sister looked almost identical to Veyugan's mother and father, but as Veyugan grew older, he began to look different from his parents. His hair was a deep red, as were his eyes. His front two canine teeth were long and sharp - like a vampire, but not to that degree. His mom and dad were short - 5'6 being his father, and by the age of 13, Veyugan had already passed him in height.
The first dozen years of Veyugan's life were boring, and held next to no importance in his life. By the time he was 13, he managed to get his hands on a copy of the American 'Fight Club' movie. The next years of his life would be the life-changing ones. After watching the movie, he became interested in the arts of fighting. Veyugan devoted the next years of his life to fighting, and with a few close friends, created their own fight club. His grades in school began to steadily decline as he grew more involved in their club. Within the next two years, Veyugan and his friends had grouped together a mass of students and other teens that wished to join their ranks, and take part in their club.
In the club, Veyugan seemed to be the strongest fighter, but still fell to some worthy opponents. However, during his time in the club he was reknown as the toughest member, and never turned down a challenge. Veyugan was always willing to fight to grow stronger. That was his life, and he lived it - loving every minute. They always say - After a night in fight club, everything in the real world gets the volume turned down. Nothing can piss you off. Your word is law, and if other people break that law or question you, even that doesn't piss you off. For Veyugan, he had no concentration on anything except fighting. It did seem that everything in the real world had the volume turned down.
There was one night in particular in which Veyugan discovered something in himself. Something that would change his life, and change everyone who saw it. This is the night. This is the fight.
-- The discovery --
The night was rather cold. Cold enough to raise goosebumps on Veyugan's skin. Although, inside - he was burning. Burning with 15 years of unadultered rage. The rage of all the emotion he kept inside for those years. He kept them under the surface, acting as if they didn't exist. But, holding onto them - letting the rage out a little at a time. That's what gave him the edge in the fights. That's the reason he was near-unbeatable. His opponent tonight was a up-and-comer who proved his worth. The guy was 17 years old, and well built. A muscle head. Veyugan didn't mind, as he had decimated opponents the same size. Braun means nothing if you don't have heart. The crowd gathered around the two - just as they always did. Standing still, Veyugan slid his right foot forward, letting the belt that tied his legs together tightened, letting him know when to stop his foot. He was ready.
The guy charged Veyugan, fist raised. Their bodies collided. Veyugan's right elbow slammed into the guy's stomach as the guy's punch connected with Veyugan's jaw. The force of each hit blew both of them back, and the anger held inside spiked within Veyugan. He hadn't been punched in a while, and he didn't particularly like being hit. Before he could react, he was confronted by the guy once more - who unleashed a flurry of punches toward Veyugan. There was really nothing he could do. Both his arms were raised into an 'X' like pattern which deflected many of the blows. The anger kept building up within him. He knew he could beat this guy, but he couldn't concentrate. The only thing he could concentrate was something being built up in the pit of his stomach. It felt hot. Like a burning sensation being built up within him. The punches were slowed, but they suddenly stopped shortly thereafter. Veyugan's eyes pierced through his defenses, and watched the KO punch coming.
There was no way he could dodge it. His eyes snapped shut and he held his guard up - hoping it would deflect most of the punch. Through a small slit in his eyes, he saw a empty spot next to one of his friends in the crowd. 'I WANT TO MOVE!' His mind shot a wave of anger through his body, and the 'thing' in his stomach exploded - flowing through his body. In an instant - everything went into a blur. Then, in less than a half of second, his body was in the same spot in which he desired to be before the punch hit him. His eyes were bloodshot, his breathing was heavy. He hit the ground on one knee, and his mind went black.
--- Sharpening his skills
Within the next few years, after the major discovery - Veyugan toned himself, trying to figure out how to do whatever it was he did - again. In frustration, he let out a horrid scream, and raised his arms above his head. Once more - he felt the shot of that energy again - this time flowing to only his arms. He slammed them into the ground, and watched as light exploded from his arms, and into the ground. Cracks shot through the ground, and it cratered inward. Once more, he was breathing hard - feeling the relief of the energy being released. Veyugan was pissed he couldn't do it again, and through that state of being frustrated - was able to do something similar once more. His dad appeared in the doorway. After some yelling, Veyugan was laying on his bed with a blackening eye. He didn't strike back. He never did, as it was his father. Hitting his father was something Veyugan couldn't imagine doing. So, he took the punishment.
As a child, Veyugan rose himself to be a warrior: to suppress his emotions and to show no mercy in battle. He was often abused by his father in an attempt to build hatred, and as a result; Veyugan was consumed with a desire to kill for most of his life.
That was his code, and he wanted to be the fiercest warrior ever known. However, he let no one know of his abilities except for the fight club members. After a few years - a few months before his 19th birthday, Veyugan found himself being able to teleport in a maximum range of 25 feet. However, every foot more meant more energy being spent. To keep in perfect condition for a fight, he never teleported more than a few feet. That way, he could conserve his energy, and still fight. As for the surge of energy to any part of his body, he found out how to direct it without directing his anger. It took almost a complete year to master, but Veyugan is now able to shoot balls of energy from his hands, however; he rarely uses it against humans. The main target point of his practicing now is to change the half-of-a-foot-in-diameter balls of energy into beams of energy which he can fire toward his opponent. Also, he is working on increasing the range of his teleportation.
-- Arcane Academy
One day, an unknown caller informed Veyugan of a certain school in which he could hone his skills, and improve them a ten-fold. Veyugan asked where he could find such a school, and the guy informed him ... ''All you have to do is look up." Then, the man hung up the phone. Curious, Veyugan walked outside, and tilted his head toward the sky. A glimmer appeared in the distance - a bright shining glare. It was behind a cloud, but Veyugan knew. That's where he had to go.
Style: Chi
Chi is an art from the east which is said to focus upon one's chi, or mana as we call it in the west, to use in a variety of ways. One way is to allow chi to to concentrate in the hand, which in the past was done with acupuncture needles- but now only requires one to concentrate on that area to let chi flow there, and then the user can send their chi out as a life harming weapon. Other ways include muscle enlargement, healing wounds quickly, and other useful things.
Spells/Abilities:
**All Spells/Abilites are not one hit kill, and they only sting like a punch would. They will grow stronger with greater energy.**

OFFENSIVE
Beyou Blast -
[/i]Veyugan gathers energy and transfers it to either palm, creating a large ball of energy. He stares at his enemy, and thrusts his arm forward - shooting the ball toward the enemy. A high powered ball of energy that shoots through the air at an alarming speed.
Apocalypse -
Veyugan pulls back both arms under his shoulders, and brings forth a tremendous amount of energy to both arms. He shoves them forward - letting out dozens of energy balls a second. They are small - not much bigger than a large bouncy ball. Thousands will flow through his body, and leave him completely drained. After this attack, he loses consciousness. Only after strenous practice will he train himself to be able to complete it without passing out. This is a 'suicidal' move - and he uses it only when he knows he is about to lose a battle. If the opponent is within 5 - 10 feet of the blasts, then there is almost no way to escape. However, if they are further, then they can dodge quite easily.
Kangas Slash-
Veyugan lets his Chi flow through an arm, and into his fingers and palm. He leaps toward his opponent, and extened his fingers into a clawed position. As his fingers scrape or slice through the opponents flesh, he thrusts his chi forward, letting the slash be that much more powerful.
DEFENSIVE[/i][/u]
Kayokin -
Veyugan pushes continous waves of energy through his legs and into the ground, letting him actually be able to glide. However, he can only glide away for at least 5 feet. Also, this lets him charge his Chi, and let him force it downward quickly - shooting him up, or whatever direction he pushes it to add to a jump. Using this technique, he can manage to jump high enough to almost grab onto the edge of a two story house. Using the hover, it steadily drains his energy, and sooped up jumps chips away at the energy.
Heirut -
Veyugan concentrates on a place in which he would like to be - by focusing on the energy of that certain place. Then, he surges his Chi through his body, and shoots it at that spot with a large force. His body disappears - flowing with his chi to that spot. Instantly, he is gone - inhabiting that spot in which he wanted to be. Teleportating long distance wears him out very quickly, as well as a few short distance ones.
Mana Sphere- [/i]
Veyugan focuses one ball of chi in his body, and forces it outward - eveloping his body within the ball. The ball grows around him, and is impenetrable. This only lasts a few seconds - maybe three or four before he is completely drained, and passes out. This is RARELY used, and he cannot control it yet. He can only use it when his life is in danger. IE - A very poweful attack that he can't dodge, and his body shoots this out for him, sacrificing all his energy.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Strengths - [/i]
Veyugan is very well trained in hand-to-hand combat. He knows almost every type of punch, and how to read movements from his opponent. Although he isn't big, he can still manuever his body perfectly. Well ... perfect for him. Also, Veyugan is strong long range too - using his Chi as a weapon to attack his opponents. His body is rugged, and worn, and he knows how to take a punch. After 6 years of being in a fight club, he no longer feels pain, or what humans describe as pain.
Weaknesses - [/i]
Veyugan is weak against fire. He has a fear of fire, but he doesn't let it control him, he controls it. Although, exposed to it long enough, he will cower in fear. Also, he doesn't do too well against a person who is mainly magic users, or people who summon creatures to fight their battles. Veyugan is more efficient against melee-attackers, and others of the sort that deal hand-to-hand combat.
Weapon - La' Kriefa
A hispanic name is placed upon Veyugan's weapon. Consisting of a sleek titanium steel, the blade is almost unbreakable. Although, the blade is not solid, but more of a honeycomb structure. This aids in handling, as it makes the blade lighter. The sword is roughly five and a half feet, the 6 inches being the handle. The handle of the blade is not to be mistaken as a hilt, as it is not. It is a handle for the modified part of the sword. The handle of the sword has been modified with a gun's handle, and where the handle meets the blade, there is a chamber that holds 6 bullets. On the handle, there is a trigger, and when the trigger is pulled, a bullet is fired from the blade. A gunblade. Whenever a slash is made with the sword, Veyugan pulls the trigger, shooting a bullet point-blank against his foe.
The sword can be used as a gun/sword.
