Name: Tomo Yoshi
Occupation: Apprentice / Magician
Nationality: Japanese
Height: 5'9"
Weight: 120
Age: 15
Hair Color: Silver
Eye Color: Light blue
Appearance:
That outfit is actually carried in a mini version on the inside, usually of just a regular T-shirt. Yoshi only really wears long-sleeved T-shirt, a pair of slacks, and maybe the black dress-shoes. But unless he's wearing his tuxedo outfit, he's only in casual wear.
Personality: Yoshi is actually a pretty charismatic person. Then again, who wouldn't in that outfit? He's very spur-of-the-moment, and NEVER wants to be stuck in one place for too long. It just gets boring. He'll do almost anything to get away if he has to stay still, and it's very hard for him to stay quiet in class. That's why he'll usually just lightly juggle a couple balls underneath his desk, keeping him occupied for the moment. But don't let this throw you off. If he gets down to it, he can be somewhat smart in what he does, yet he doesn't show it all that much. Mostly because, although some may not believe it, he isn't looking for attention. Just doing what he wants. But still trying to stay somewhat on the legal side. Sometimes.
History:
The history of Tomo Yoshi. Well, let us begin with where he was born now shall we? Yoshi was born in America, but both his mother and father are Japanese. Because of this, he learned both English and Japanese, which came in handy when talking to his little brother infront of his friends.
Well, Yoshi continued through his tragically ordinary life. However, part of him wasn't very ordinary. That would be his magic tricks. Since he was four years old and he discovered his abilities, he's been doing magic tricks. Making roses appear out of seemingly no where. Doing almost unimaginable juggling and dissapearing acts. Infact, his friends use to call him Super-Yoshi, which he found out was due to the Mario games. However, like most things, even in those days, he just let it slide. No big deal he figured.
Well, on year later, when Yoshi turned ten, a man came, telling his parents of his abilities. He even showed him, doing his tricks without any sleeves. Although they were wary at first, Yoshi's parents eventually let him go to Arcane Academy. Here, Yoshi learned more about his abilities, and although still uses tricks, has become very good with most basic elementalist tricks. Now, after a few years of training with his master, Yoshi has finally moved to Arcane academy, and will start his first day in the first IC thread.
Style:
Magician-like
Strengths:
Yoshi has two main strengths. One of his favorite is how unexpected he is. Not just when he fights, but in anything really. It's very hard to tell what he's going to do next, because in reality, he just sort of goes with the flow. He doesn't necessarily pick the best moves, and he never really plans out his moves. All he does is just, well, fight.
Yoshi's other strength is speed, which, when used with his unexpectable attacks, can become quite the powerful combo. Although, not great.
Weaknesses:
Oddly enough, Yoshi's two biggest weaknesses are physical. Strength and Endurance. He can fight for a reasonably amount of time, but he can't take too many hits, nor can he deal out great attacks. His spells are fairly loose and aren't incredibly powerful, so he does rely on his speed and combos for a lot of attacks. And, sometimes a bit too much. His attacks aren't really meant to kill, so he's better off paired with a partner who can finish the job quickly.
Spell List:
-Fire Spray: This is a simple yet effective attack. Yoshi pretty much just breathes out a jet of flame, which can only reach about ten to twelve feet away, making this attack only good for close range.
-Snap: This skill is very simple. All it is is a teleportation technique, which uses at most a ten foot movement to gain. Very useful in combat.
-Brush Bind: This is almost a joke of a technique.Yoshi, with a flick of his wrist, summons a 4-foot long paint brush. If the paint on the end touches you, you will be paralyzed in that spot. The paint doesn't affect the user.
Strength or Endurance --- Effectiveness
1 - 10 --- Full paralysis of hit spot
11 - 19 --- Partial paralysis (movement speed of area cut in half)
20 + --- No paralysis
-Rose Rash: Yoshi's most common technique, this summons a rose with the flick of the wrist. After this, the rose can be spun, which will send many tiny thorns at the enemy.
-Pedal Pound: A very fun spell, where Yoshi will send thousands of petals out of his sleeve at the opponent. However these petals will continually attack the opponent of they hit, until hey are destroyed. Although not really painful, it's quite hilarious to look at, and can keep the opponent occupied for a moment, possibly even blocking his eyes.
-Spark: The only semi-long range technique Yoshi has. This creates a small ball of fire in his hand, which he can throw at the enemy.
Weapons/Gear:
Only a wand.
