Name:Ambrosia Tiombe Marrku
Occupation: Apprentice
Nationality: Irish
Height: 5'7"
Weight: 139
Age: 19
Appearance: Ambrosia is a young woman standing about five foot seven, receiving her height from her father. Her eyes are a deep gray, those who stare into them have a tendancy of getting lost in their depths. She has a scar over her right eye and a copper band around her right wrist. Her hair falls just to the base of her spin and is crudely cut at the ends, she dyed it robin's egg blue once but now it's faded and her blonde hair streaks through it. Her day clothes consist of an oversized black dress shirt missing the left sleeve, and black slacks riddled with holes from wear and tear. She wears ill fitting black boots without socks. On occiason she wears brown leather gloves to help with pickpocketing or simply for contact with others.
When she sleeps, she wears nothing more than a oversized pair of red pants and a sports tank. Yes, she does live basically in the park but that's alright- she sleeps in the underbrush of a park or ontop of high buildings so it's not so tough.
She has no special outfits or anything like that because she moves around alot.
Personality: She holds great pride in who she is. Help is rarely accepted. She is afraid of water. She's a great hacker and mechanic. She's also pretty good at sewing. She can charge anything electrical. She's extremely shy and wary of people. Her ability doesn't allow her to make physical contact unless that person wants to be a crispy critter. Security devices and such are drawn to her- she tends to steer clear of cameras for several have exploded in her presence before.
History:Ambrosia was born in Drogheda, Ireland. She lived with her father, Erin, and mother, Jeanine. They were a happy family- normal and well accepted by the community. Everything was fine until one summer day when Ambrosia, who was seven, electrocuted a neighbors cat by simply petting it. The neighbors and friends of the Marrku family suddenly turned cruel and angry. They made sure to make everything hard for their family- Erin was fired from his job at the mill and Jeanine was fired from the local pharmacy, no child would com enear Ambrosia even to say hello and many times there were stones cast at them if they left the house for anything. With heavy hearts and hope, Erin moved his family to the states after finding a job as a machienist in Georgia.
This move held no joy for any memeber of the Marrku family. While at school one day, Ambrosia was bullied into a fight. The boy she punched had to be hospitalized for severe electrical burns- he lived but the message was apparent. Ambrosia's ability had completely manifested by the time she had turned 10. Jeanine, Ambrosia's mother, lost her hearing and her right arm in a severe car accident. Shortly after Erin, Ambrosia's father, was killed by assumed accident. The only thing found was his mangled corpse in the metal shaver and a note written in some odd script no one seemed to recogize except for the word 'monster'. With a new fear driving her and the obvious insanity brought on by the loss of her husband, Jeanine moved them again- Ambrosia had to do all the lef work but it worked out in the end. Jeanine began making Ambrosia wear rubber gloves and keep her skin completely covered for fear another creature, or worse, person would be killed. Ambrosia protested but after a long fight, she gave in. Mother was right. No need to be ignorant about the truth.
Ambrosia didn't go to school after the last incident, she stayed home with her mother and worked. They had moved to a farm in Wyoming and though the work was hard, Ambrosia never had to worry about wearing the rubber gloves or winter clothes because no one lived close enough to them for her to make any kind of contact. They lived there for seven years with little to no problems until a man from the government came to reposess the house. Ambrosia stood on the porch with the mother and protested against the man about the deeds and ownership until the man simply said, "There's nothing you can do about it, Miss. This is the property of the government now and you and your mother'll just have to move out." Ambrosia heartbroken and angry, stuck out her hand and answered, "Fine," she would give the man a shouck he wouldn't forget. Her deaf mother's eyes went wide as she realized her daughter's intent and before she could stop Ambrosia. The man jerked out a gun, he knew what Ambrosia was and as Jeanine got up he shot Ambrosia's mother. The woman fell silently to the ground, her amber eyes wide, a single tear slid down her cheek.
Ambrosia stared at her mother and turned on the man. She charged at him and he eaisly evaded her laughing. Ambrosia having only had one fight in her life tripped and fell when she failed to make contact with the man and he took the opportunity to fire his gun again. The buller tore flesh, just scraping across Ambrosia's right eye and finding a home in the ground. Ambrosia, blinded by fresh blood and hatred for this man and all he stood for, put her hands out infront of her and screamed wordlessly.
Later the news reported a large electrial surge whiped out the power in the city and two surrounding cities. The point of the surge was located at a farm where two bodies were found. One government official Michael Joseph Wane and a local farm owner named Jeanine Katherine Marrku. No one knows the location of the seventeen year old Ambrosia Tiombe Marrku, the daughter of Mrs. Jeanine Marrku.
In truth, Ambrosia had woken up in the field, the crops and the man had been bured. Going to the porch, she picked up her mother's body and put her to bed before gathering what remained in the house and leaving for Washington. Why not? She had heard about the nice scenery there and the constant rain- maybe it would put a damper on her powers. Her walk took five months before arriving in a nice sheltered forest in Washington. Tired, broke and sparking, she lay on a high tree branch and fell asleep. Shortly after she began picktpocketing in Seattle, Washington. She wore gloves when she did it having meltes rubber in the inside of nice leather gloves to prevent people from getting hurt.
During her travels, she found a young boy beaten black and blue and bleeding in a ditch. She made a rubber lined blanket, dressed him in worm clothing, and healed all his injuries. The blue eyed boy's name was Kenda. Ambrosia took him under her wing and was kind to him for she knew what it was like to be different. Seeming content, Kenda claimed he would stay with her forever.
Ambrosia took him home, they found nothing more than an empty house and a scribbled note for him from one of his older siblings: 'Kenda, we've left you behind becasue you're too different. Mom and Dad think you're dangerous, but remember we still love you. We may not be like you, but we think you were a great brother." But the letter remained unsigned. The heartbroken Kenda used his power to destroy the house he grew up in and screamed his hatred to the sky. Ambrosia stood aside and watched sadly. She then encouraged him to move on and they were soon in Seattle.
But she left him alone for a while, but he moved and she had lost him. Sadly alone again, she wandered into the park. She was content here for no one would look for someone who barely exsisted as it was.Soon she found a flier speaking of a place where she could learn to control her powers and possibly master them and so much more. With determination, she found her way there and began her new life among the people who were like her.
Style: Electricity and Close Combat. Ambrosia has the ability to use electricty at will- she naturally generates enough to power a walkman. She has used her abilities to fix electrical items before, she can hack computer systems and fix things which are broken on the inside.
