Personality: Sieg was a bright and optimistic boy but after the death of his family he has become bitter and cynical about life, but tries to maintain an outwardly cheery appearance.
History: Siegfried was born in Germany and led a mostly normal life. However Sieg’s father was deeply involved in a shady underground criminal syndicate. When Sieg was 7 they moved to America to escape his father’s past mistakes. However when they arrived the syndicate was waiting and Sieg’s father was gunned down shortly after setting foot in America. Apparently Sieg’s mother had agreed to hand Sieg’s father over to the syndicate boss in exchange for a safe life in America.
Sieg would never forgive his mother for betraying his father but he understood why it had been necessary. The rest of Sieg’s life played out fairly normal until he reached his freshman year of high school and discovered that his talent for tinkering was much more than a talent. Sieg’s inventions got the attention of the wrong crowd and soon he fell in with a gang that used his inventions for committing robberies.
Sieg didn’t care at all really until of course the fateful day that the gang decided to hit a rundown grocery store. Sieg couldn’t stop them until it was too late, the grocery store was his mothers. He watched with a face of frozen horror as his mother was cut down by one of his inventions. The next day Sieg left his own life behind for the Arcane Academy, bitter and cynical and ready to be done with the normal world.
Style: Technomancer magic revolves around the application of magic to technology and the manipulation of technology using magic. This primarily includes the use of Sieg’s PDS (Personal Digital Spellcaster). Sieg uses his mana to manipulate technology and create gadgets. He is a support mage and functions better in groups as opposed to being by himself.
Strengths: Sieg is quite smart and an impressive mechanic and inventor. His technomancer abilities make him quite adept at creating and modifying all manner of technology. Sieg's intelligence also makes him a rather good strategist. He is an ideal support mage as he can create gadgets to get a group out of a tight jam and use his technomancer abilities and devices to enhance the ability of his teammates or provide them with weaponry.
Weaknesses: Sieg tends to rely a little heavily on his inventing skills and therefore is rather weak in hand-to-hand combat. His spells and inventions may not always work correctly because he tends to be scatterbrained and set projects aside when he gets inspiration for another.
Spell List:
Construction- Sieg uses his mana to enchant a pile of scrap metal or junk and turns it into a Golem construct. Usually the spell is temporary but not in the case of Atticus which happened to be Sieg’s first attempt at the spell.
Mini-sects- Sieg uses his mana to feed a small race of techno-organic insects that he created. He keeps them in a small pouch on his waist, they are linked to his PDS which is used to control them and see through their eyes. The mini-sects are capable of biting through most known metals which makes them particularly deadly if they swarm an enemy.
Electron beam- Sieg uses his mana and PDS to manipulate the electrons in the air into a beam of energy which he projects at an enemy.
Upgrade- Sieg uses his PDS to increase the effects of an allies spell to a minor degree
Copycat- Sieg’s most recent and unstable spell. Sieg can use the PDS to copy an enemy or allies spell and re-use it but in a much weaker form, being fairly untested the spell has many opportunities to backfire.
Enchant Metal- Using his PDS Sieg can enchant scrap metal and give it temporary sentience. He uses his mana to bend the metal to his will and have it take shapes in order to fit the situation. This includes turning the metal into a key or into a weapon of some sort should the situation arise.
