So I'm a grumpy seer? Big deal. You're an idiot.

She sat on his desk. Then she ran her hand through his hair, and caressed his ear? Odd, seeing as the young half-elf wasn't even involved in the discussion. He just wanted to observe, and participate in the summoning, not yammer on about how it worked.
She haddn't even looked at him as she did it, as well. She made it seem like some idle thing, wandering hands, as she answered the questions the class had asked. She had just done it without thinking, it seemed. Very odd for a person like Roy. He decided to ignore it, and keep his mouth shut, for the time being. Although, it was very hard to ignore someone who was dressed the way the teacher was, especially if she was touching you. Along with trying not to have a vision, ignoring her hand was hard work.
His eye flashed briefly, almost imperceptably, as he held back a vision.
He really wished Miss Isis would take her hand off him, but he diddn't want to voice his thoughts. He was afraid of getting kicked out of the class. So he simply sat there and waited, a slightly annoyed look on his face.

Mantis, after hearing the answer to his question, turned to the front of the room and pulled out a small note pad. He then began to sketch down the intricate Solomon seal that was on the board. He'd need to study it so that he could have his insects carve it into the ground while he was fighting. It took a couple of minutes while he made a rough drawing. In that time the teacher finished speaking.
He made notes on another page of the answers that had been given to make sure he knew every thing he could about the new form of magic. Mantis turned around to see the teacher sitting on a red haired students desk. That of course got a raised eyebrow from the bug manipulator. Considering she was a professor at the academy, it shouldn't exactly be normal behavior. Granted, Mantis had never really spent any time in a normal school but he knew what'd be appropriate.
He had no more questions, so he simply sat, waiting for the next step in the class.
