Second Sight and Scrying

[Nikias]

"Sage? I heard that you can take drugs to make it easier to see Visions. Is that true?"

Nikias looked at the teacher as he Feed Aeron with candy.

I hope we don't have to do drugs in this class. My body would see it like I was in danger or something and I would transform. I had visions when I was in a fight before so I could see where the opponent would hit me if I didn't block. I wonder if it was a quick Vision or just that I am to fast to react that I can't keep up with myself?

"Is it possible to see visions without being asleep or without any tools?"

Nikias looked at Sage and tried not get his hand chewed off.

[The Sage]

OOC: I very much apologize for my absence. A lot has been going on, and it kept me from my duties. I will try not to let it happen to often. Thank you for being patient.

"The visions you see with drugs are not visions of truth. They are distorted and twisted. We will not be using such methods here. Though their are herbs rumored to increase the ability, I will not go into such ways. To me, it is tampering with the mind. As for your second questions, it is indeed possible to use the ability without the use of tools. I myself have visions and do not always use anything. However, it takes much practice. Even great master Seers use tools every now and again, regardless of how great their abilities become."

"Now, I would like you both to focus on your crystal balls. I am going to be posing my own question, and I want you to tell me what it is you see. My question is simple... what do you most fear?"

[Raiden Matsutani]

Raiden glanced down at his crystal ball as Sage had instructed and pondered on the question. The image that came up was a mirror image of Raiden himself. This image wasn't surprising to Raiden, the fact that he fears himself. The fact that he fears what he might do.

Raiden looked back over at the Sage. "Well...as the image states...I fear myself..." he said awkwardly.

[The Sage]

"You fear yourself. That is a powerful image to deal with. But, what about yourself do you fear? Is it something in the past, something in the future, or something that links the two? Something on the inside, something you regret? These are things you must try to answer to make progress with what you find."

This student was going to need a good deal of assistance. ot that his scrying powers weren't amazing. But, when coming to terms with things, visions can be very unsettling. So, Sage kept that in the back of his mind as he looked to his other student. "And what do your visions reveal to you Nikias?"

[Nikias]

"I will take a look Sage. But I don't really know what I am afraid of."

Nikias looks unsure when he studies his vision. He seem to having trouble with his visions.

"I can't see anything Sage. I don't know what I fear."

He said as he continued to search for his own fears.

What is the thing I fear the most? I do fear things but I can't see them as real fears because they aren't threatening me.

Suddenly he fall of his chair backwards as if he would have been punched in his face. He lies unconscious.

Auron lie down next to Nikias looking confused. (( don't ask me how a confused panther looks like please. ))

[The Sage]

That was enough for Sage. He rushed to the unconscious student. "Raiden, go and get the healers. he needs to go to the infirmary." Sage put his hand on the head of the boy. He faced the panther. "Do not worry, he will be fine. I am easing his mental stress. What he just saw was too much for him. I saw that this lesson might be too much for one of these two. I didn't know who, and I hoped in a way, that I was wrong."

His hand glowed and he soothed whatever might be going on in Nikias's mind. "Sometimes a vision can very much have physical consequences. In his case, he felt as if he were struck and struck hard, which caused this." He sighed. "He'll be fine, but I hope his vision didn't leave any lingering effects."

The healers arrived shortly, and took the boy away. "Raiden, thank you. Todays lesson is over for now. No homework."

[Raiden Matsutani]

As soon as Renari had told Raiden to go get the healers, Raiden had rushed off in a instant using his speed to go get them. It was the right time to use his speed since it seemed like a dire situtation. Raiden came back with the healers quickly. Raiden watched as the healers took the other student and away. What happened to him? Raiden said to himself. Then Renari said that class was over and no homework. Raiden nodded and then bowed slightly. Raiden left class for today.
