Cold and Calculating, Director Lancaster is a very smart and very emotionless man. Constantly seeking out his and the government's agenda, Lancaster will go to any length to achieve them, but will be sure to observe the truce between him and the Academy. Furthermore, he's very detached from the people around him, and is very condescending because of that. Lastly, Lancaster is very curious, needing to know everything that exists in the world. That's why he first joined the U.S. research bureau, and later the Area 51 team.
History:
Lancaster was just a simple man who joined the government research department to advance his own research agenda. However, in time, he was relocated to a certain place, Area 51. There, he learned of the secret of magic, and began to study it relentlessly. In time, he master a few arts, while studying where magic came from and such. Because of his diligent attitude, he soon receive promotion after promotion, and became the head of the researchers. It was then he discovered the threat of the ruptures, and with it asked the government to transform D-13 into a paramilitary organization, dedicated to the defense against magical attacks. And with it, Director Lancaster became General Lancaster, although he prefers his title of Director.
Style
Lancaster is a master of telekinesis and psychism. Of the two though, he is better at telekinesis, able to read minds very easily, a ability that requires one who is very, very, very proficient at this art. It is from that he is a master at avoiding things, and is very hard to surprise during battle. However, when it comes to offense, Lancaster tries to use mental strikes against his opponents, trying to weaken their mind so that they collapse of a massive head ache. It has been said that he is so powerful, he could kill someone if he concentrated hard enough. Of course, the only draw back is his mental strikes are just like shooting a fire ball, they don't automatically hit. Just think of his mental attacks like shooting a invisible fire ball at someone.
Strengths:
Lancaster is a master mage, just like Maedalus. He is able to cast his spells with very little effort, and can be very dangerous if angered. His mental attacks are said to be the most powerful around, and is truly devastating from afar.
Weaknesses:
Despite his magical power and far range proficiency, he is utterly weak in hand to hand combat. If one were to engage him in hand-to-hand, they would probably win unless that attacker was very weak. Furthermore, he lacks speed, strength and endurance on a very bad level, meaning the only way to beat him, if you're not a master mage, is to engage him in hand-to-hand.
