Wirtter: Hello all, I just thought of this and its kinda just popping in my head, so any feed back is welcome.

A peaceful place, bright glowing and full of nothing, but thought. A place to hide, to get away from the troubles of life. This place where your inner most desires come to life as your brain tells you the story you are to be apart of. Yet there is always that one question. The question - what if a dream became more than a dream? Well.
A beach with soft warm sand, musical tides and a sun set that never ends. That is where he sits watching as everything he ever wanted is passing by him at speeds almost faster than the eye can pick up. Peace. Thats what this man wants. His short, spikey, golden blonde hair only moved slightly as an east breeze came in. His dark blue eyes seemed at rest as he looked to the sun set. His black t-shirt and blue jeans where completely still. He was at peace as he layed down in the sand. He looked to be almost 20 years of age. His eyes began to close, but once they did, his sun set that never ends, was gone. Everything around him disappeared. Except the sand he lay on. He could not lift his body and his eyes would not open no matter how hard he tried.
"Home..." A voice rang out in a soft echoe, like that of a womans.
"Who are you..." Was this mans answer.
"You have already forgotten..." These words where spoken more as a fact than a question.
"Forgotten...?"
"You will never know. You must continue to forget, your life will be givin back and you will be free to live it, but you will never know the past."
"Bu-"
Waking from the dream this man now with no memory of anything not even his name was seemed to be in a small town, but he has no idea where this is, when this is, or even how he was here. He can only remember the last words from that dream. Seeing an old man washing a rag in a bowl of water he speaks for the first time with his new life.
"Do you know who I am?"
The old man with tan skin and a long grey beard turns to the man with no name. The old mans gentle green eyes give a peaceful feeling to those who see it. He seems to have a worried smile as he looks to the man, and says.
"I do not. You where found at the edge of the town with fever and a large cut across your chest. We bandaged it and it healed nicely, though its gonna be a large scar. You have been asleep for many days."
"I dont remember any of this."
"You must not want to remember."
"I want. . . To know myself."
"Well we need to give you a name so we know what to call you."
"Call me Dream..."
"Dream. . . .? Very well then, Dream."
the old man finished what he was doing and helped Dream up. He felt weak, but soon found his land legs again. The old man showed him the way out of the house, that was made entirely of wood. There where many rooms. it was two floors tall. It seemed this was like a hospital for this small town. When I say small I mean small. There are only 12 buildings. This would be more of a village if it where not for the fact they had trades with cities and other towns. It seemed there was a defence corps training just outside of the building. they had the same uniforms on. Black cloaks where the neck came up to hide there faces from the nose down. Then goggles that went over the eyes. There pants where slightly baggy and a dark blue. Same with the shirts. They had swords, thin and long. they had no slant in them at all. One approched them and looked to Dream.
"So he is awake."
"He woke up but few minutes ago. He doesn't remember anything." Spoke the old man who was heading back inside. He turned to Dream to speak once more. "That room will be open for you whenever you need it."
"Thanks."
"Well since your awake and young, you should think about getting a job to earn your stay here. The defence corps could use some more members." Said the somewhat short defence corps member.
"I'll think about it, but if I am to defend this town, i think I should get to know it first. And I need some time to get my head cleared up."
"Understandable, but remember that it was the defence corps who decided to let you live."
"Will do." Dream spoke that bit and walked down a hill. Every small flat point in the hill had four houses. Two on each side. Not to mention that no two houses where the same in anyway.
He noticed that behind the hospital and the entire town there was a mountan range, that protected the town from the back, and to the front was a giant wall made of wood. The front gate was open though. There where shops selling all sorts of things and farmers doing there job, but the most interesting thing he saw was the small lake being fed by a waterfall. It was what some would say the literal heart of the town. It gave them everything from life to food. While looking at it he hadn't noticed half the day go by. It was odd to get memorized by things like that, but it was not abnormel.
"HELP~ DOCTOR LUKE~!"
A scream came from the front gate as the defence corps came back from a recon. They had two injured and the other three seemed extreamly tired. They still had there swords out and there guns where in there holsters, but unbuckled. Dream ran down feeling pulled to the situation and asked a question that would change his life forever.
"What happened?"
