Bigger Half
I feel like I'm dying, Lying here crying Misery consumes ever crimson thread, Midnight blue stains the razors edge.
Being compressed inside this shell, Blood soaked sage the only smell, Laughter flickers behind blackened eyes, You are dead and here you lie.
So long ago you spoke of instant righteous justice, Not a soul told you 'You musn't', Now a child and man dig your grave, You lie the the steel coffin we've made.
Simplistic sorrow, delicious misery, Consume someone, consume me, Here's my heart- enjoy the scream, Take my tapestry from wooden beam.
Spirit withered, Crows eating my gizzard, My rule long finished, If only your smile came with it.
Hold my hand for now I die, No easy way to say goodbye, Just as the sunsets- the day is done, So is my memory- now gripping the gun.
