Protection`Part`1`
"Arcturus, I want you to go and find your brother, now!" Boomed Arcturus' father with a very loud voice. He nodded his head up and down to his father, and then leapt up into the air, thrusting his arms and legs outward, as his skin began to scale up slowly. His father had been in his normal human form, and had been trying his hardest to keep back the few reavers that had attacked this small village in Nedar. His father, Janus, thrust his ax to the side, as it hit a few reavers along the way, cutting a few of them in half, but many of them managed to dodge. Ash was slung accross through the air, to the side, and up and down as his father kept slicing through reavers. Arcturus' full body had grown scales, and his body slowly began to grow larger, wings beginning to come from his back. "Over here, you stupid reavers!" yelled Janus, quickly rushing at two of the reavers and grabbing their heads, smashing them together, a loud cracking noise being heard as they hit each other. He formed his hands fully around the reavers' heads, and began to swing them around in a circular motion, like they were ragdolls, and threw them up into the air forcefully.
"Where are those god d**ned Nedar Knights when you need them?!" Janus picked up a large piece of a building, ignoring the pain that had been sent through him as he was slashed in the back many times by a single reaver. "Let's see you fly!" he yelled, quickly turning around, and he rushed the peice of bring into the reaver's chin, causing him to fly upward quickly. "I'm not done yet!" Janus continued, leaping into the air, taking hold of his ax once again, he thrust the very tip of the hilt of the ax into the reaver's chest, impaling him with it. As the ax went through the reaver's body, it began to groan, it's eyes shutting, and it thrusted it's claws at Janus' face. Meanwhile, Arcturus had fully grown his wings now, and was now in the form of a dragon. He quickly rushed forward through the night sky, and began to scan the area around him, with his now bright red hues. But, he was caught offguard by a single reaver that went flying straight toward him. The reaver had rammed it's head into Arcturus', and then launched it's knee into his face, causing the Ziguran boy to fly backward through the air. "Get out of my way.." he said in a harsh tone towards the reaver, who had just narrowed his eyes, and rushed forward at Arcturus once again. He just swung his right arm at the Reaver, hitting it to the side, and it was twirling around crazily in the air. Once it had actually managed to regain its balance, it had found that Arcturus had already been in front of him, and headbutted the reaver, knocking him downward, and it had begun to spin around crazily once again.
Arcturus had tailed the demon, and caught it by its right leg. He held it tightly, and threw the reaver forward, and it crashed through a building, going through the floor. Arcturus had followed it once again, and right before it hit the ground, he spun around and whipped at it with his tail, causing it to rush through the ground, causing many large cracks to form through it. The large Ziguran boy landed on the ground, and stared at the reaver, slowly inhaling. The reaver's eyes widened once it realized what was going to happen to him, and after a couple of seconds, fire started to rush out of the large dragon's mouth, and it began to form all around the reaver. The fire reached onto the already burnt walls, and all over the books and everything that had been inside of the building that Arcturus had been in. The boy huffed lightly, and rushed right out of the building, breaking through the walls with his right shoulder, quickly forming back into his original human form. The boy began to inhale slightly after stumbling down onto the ground, but he knew he couldn't rest here. He had to find his brother and sister. Where were Ignis and Nahana? He needed to find that out soon, or else he'd pay for not being able to save them. The boy rushed back onto his feet, and began to run forward, placing his feet firmly on the ground as they reached it. "Ignis! Nahana! Where are you?!" he yelled out as he ran, his deep brown hues catching the appearance of what seemed to be a rather large reaver, with an extremely large sword, and next to the reaver had been two people, that looked like Ziguran's. Arcturus' eyes widened as he noticed that the two Ziguran's were his brother, Ignus, and his sister, Nahana. The sound of metal clashing against metal could be heard as Arcturus ran towards the three.
"Nahana, get somewhere safe, now!" Ignus had said to his sister, Nahana, as he tried to hold back the massively large reaver that was before him. Ignus had guarded a vertical slash thrown by the massively large reaver, and attempted to knock him down by pushing him to the ground with his sword, but his attack had been futile, as the reaver kicked the boy in the chin with his right heel, sending him towards the ground, laying on his back. The reaver quickly followed up by twirling his large sword into the air, and while Ignis had still lain in the ground, attempting to get up and dodge the attack, the reaver had thrust his blade through Ignis' waist, causing the six-teen year-old Ziguran boy's eyes to widen, and blood shot out of his mouth. The reaver only smirked as he placed his foot on Ignis' head, and thrust his sword to the side, cutting the Ziguran boy in half, and crimson red began to spill accross the now tainted, hard, rock ground in the small village.
Arcturus stopped in his tracks, and his eyes widened as he saw what he had. His brother had just parished in front of him, and the boy slowly fell to his knees. He was so lost now, that he hadn't even heard the knights of Nedar approaching towards them.. God, today was the worst day of his life.. "Get him, now!" Shouted one of the knights as he ran up to the large reaver. He was followed by many other knights, and the reaver just glared at them, a smirk on his face. He just swung his sword from side to side, hitting each knight as the came to him, throwing them to the ground, hitting them to the sides, in the air. He was stronger then many of those knights combined. "He's going down, now," said a young man coming up from behind Arcturus. He rushed right past him, and quickly, the young Ziguran rose, they were the only two against this thing now, the rest of the knights that lay on the ground, near death were counting on them.. It was Nedar's protector, and the Leader of the Nedar Knights. The reaver had just smirked, once again, and rushed toward the two, letting out a deafening cry.
"Kyaaaaah!" Both of the warriors shouted while rushing toward this reaver. He quickly launched his sword at them horizontaly, but the Leader of the Knights had ducked underneath the blade, and the Protector had leapt onto the blade and began to run accross it. The Leader had tripped the reaver by performing a slide kick accross the ground, hitting the demon's leg, causing him to stumble forward. Arcturus had followed up with an uppercut with his right leg on the reaver's chin, causing him to get knocked slightly into the air, and he leapt up after the reaver, and held his sword up high. "This is what you get.. for killing my brother..!" Arcturus yelled out, and brought his sword down, and as it made contact with the reaver's head, it began to slide smoothly through it, cutting the reaver in half. Arcturus had hit the ground with his legs, And slowly begin to rise up to his full height. Once he was up all the way, he wiped the blood off of his sword by slicing it through the air, and he slowly sheathed it, placing it into his scabbard, and the Leader of the knights had stared at him with a concerned look on his face. "Hey, are you ok?"
