Hmmm.... I'm a member/moderator on this site. Its about dragons, Dragon Riders, and Humans, in a vieing war for total supremacy throughout the land. I think it could easily become very popular, as its unstructured, meaning almost anything can happen. I invite you all to come. lairinthesky.proboards98.com/index.cgiWhen joining, however, put my Name (THE Justin) in your profile, saying that I invited you. It gets me nothing, but we are trying to break into other realms of Rping. If you do join, you are allowed to post a single advertisement link in your Profile for any site of your choice, preferably not this one (As its pretty much going to be affiliated, if I can talk to the Admin here). Thanks for at least looking around.

Well, the only REALLY big issue I have with this board is it's setup. Not being able to see any of the rules and such is one of the major causes of death in boards, and generally, not many people are that into joining a board just to see what it's about. That would be where you would lose a lot of your members. Besides that, though, it's not an original idea, but it's fairly classic, and it seems to work for your members for the time. I'll definitely join to at least look around.

I may join, even if I have a rather full plate when it comes to RP, but I hate one of the boards I visit (Overun by ninjas, in a realistic invironment.)
I'll join, and check it out.

Thanks for putting this up Justin, though I made a little intro just for this. It's pretty much inactive, though all it needs is members to really start back up. I'll take into consideration the criticism, Onira, thanks for that bit. I think I just forgot I had it like that. Typical me there. Lair In the SkyInspired, and loosely based upon Lair, I thought the premises up and then between me and the staff we've built on to it. It's taken time and a lot of posts, more or less two weeks worth of work in about an hour and ten minutes. Now, let's get off to it all here. The Premises: Dragons, Humans and Knights that ride Dragons. Let's get that in, because that's the huge thing about this game. Dragons in war with Humans, and in some cases Humans that ride Dragons. A climatic civil war where Dragons are the strongest alone, a single Human or Dragon rider falling to its massive claws and grand array of magic. The Rider would come next, its dragon weaker, an easy target as well. Humans are next, and are simply like little chew toys for either group. How would one balance it all, you ask? I was asked the same question two weeks ago: Through the use of skills, troops and powerful siege engines. Let's look at it closer: Dragon - A gigantic creature with immense strength, can fly and can use skills, such as fire breath and raining an artillery like fire ball out for a mile or so. Can't control any troops, though in most cases wouldn't need it. Dragon Knight - A human or advanced rider upon a weaker Dragon. The same beast that flies alone, just not nearly as powerful. A bond is formed when both Human and Dragon merge together, weakening both and giving the Human more powers. Also, since there's a mortal involved here, troops are capable of being used. Not many, just enough to compensate the player since many skills will not be available to him or her. Human - Humans are the weakest of the three, though you couldn't try to successfully pound that ideal into their heads. They'll break against Dragons if they are weak and ill minded, though their leaders are the most powerful of men, capable of standing toe to toe with the demon of the Sky. Few skills come to the Human, other than being a master at long ranged weapons, troops and the many siege engines that come with war. They are creative, building mighty structures and harnessing the powers of jewels and sacred objects to give them what little power they could ever afford. At the moment, the Dragon world seems to be in peace, though the pains and toils of extremists seem like vast daggers in the side of Hetviel, the name of the world we look to write in. Only one can hold it together, his powers that of the creator and first, the true father of all races and things as well as the earth they walk upon. With his powers, they world is in peace. He himself holds the powers within his body and movements, though another copy remains in text, guarded and placed near the center of the earth, a molten ocean of fire and destruction surrounding it.. How will you forge your way into Hetviel? How will you become supreme? Look for the powers, and look for victory. Ride with Dragons, ride with Dragon Knights, fly above a mountain of humans against another mountain of troops, band together to end the civil war in your favor. Few of you have ever scene such detail in a free form rpg, I suggest you try it out here and now, as it makes for a damn good experience. -The Staff (Angel, Elmo, Lyle & Sio)
