Ziare pulled the last few things from around her room placing them in her pack. She looked at the pink clock on the wall that ticked the seconds off. To say she was nervous was an extreme understatement. Her hands were shaking and she hadn't eaten anything for two days. Why? Well Jyo was about to meet her whole family and though she had mentioned Jyo she had not mentioned how close they were. Her mother would know that she and Jyo were dating but in love was a different story. She closed her bag and took the gift she had bought for Jyo the other day in town, a silver amulet with his name engraved in fluid script and in the center was a ruby said to amplify fire magic. She had wrapped it in a little box. It had been a month since they had met and began going out and she wanted to give him something special. Ziare left her room locking the door behind her and walking across the hall to Jyo's room. She took a deep breath and knocking opened the door.
"It's me Jyo." she said a little nervously as she walked in. "Are you almost ready?"
Jyo had just put the last thing in his bag. The picture of Ziare he had framed. He closed the bag just as Ziare knocked and called in. "Yeah come on in." He said putting on the long whit coat. Ember looked up from the corner. "Okay its time to hide for a bit. I'll bring you out when we get to Ziare's place." he said. Ember nodded and Ziare would walk in right as Ember remerged with Jyo.
Jyo put his hands beind his back quicly. He didn't want Ziare to see something. Well not right away.
"Ahh not quick enough. Shame shame." He said. Jyo walked over and embraced Ziare and one of her arms was pulled behind her gently then there woul be a slightly different feeling to her wrist.
He stepped away grinning. When she would look at her wrist there would be a braclet that hung slightly loosly but still secure enough for a decent amount of activity. It was gold and sliver twisted together with a sapphire heart in the center. On one of the bands that made the braclet it said. "To the first month"
"You didn't think I would forget did you?" he asked grinning.
Ziare looked at the bracelet. It was beautiful. The gold and silver twisted together and the sapphire heart was absolutely breath taking. She touched it almost reluctantly just to make sure it was real. She honestly had not thought he would have remember she thought only girls did this trivial stuff.
She looked up with happy tears in her eyes meeting his smile. She ran to him, which wasn't far, and threw herself into his arms.
"Jyo!" she said sweetly. "I love you so much."
She still had her own box for him in her hand. She had wrapped it for him in white paper and tied it with a red and yellow ribbon representing his two elements. She blushed...
"I..didn't forget either." she said and held out the box waiting for him to open it. "Happy anniversary Jyo."
Jyo noddd in agreement to her cooment. He then picked up his longsword and sheathed it. Then he grabbed his bag. "Alright off to the portal. Dad said he'd leave it open but he and mom had to go somewhere today." Jyo said as they left. The two of them made their way down to the portal.
"Okay tis is supposed to take us near the train station. We only have less then a mile to walk as having us just pop up there would be a bad idea." He said as they saw the prtal his father has left for them
Ziare held Jyo's hand and nodded at his comment about being a mile away from the train station. Ziare was not adverse to walking so it didn't bother her in the least.
They stepped through the portal together landing down an alley way in London. And Jyo had been right the train station was very close. Still holding onto Jyo's hand they walked out of the alley way and joined the crowds of people milling about the city. Her free hand still shook slightly as her nerves were getting the best of her, she only hoped Jyo didn't notice. She wondered if he was nervous as well.
"There's the train station, I already have our tickets." she told him having bought them on her own several earlier in the week.
"Alright then" He said letting go of her hand and putting an arm around her. He loked around to get his bearings. "Well our train is...' he trailed off looking around and saw the train. "Ahhh over there." he said and the two of them walked over.
The tickets were shown and their bags were taken to be stored for the trip. Jyo and Ziare had a compartment to themselves. It was unsure how long the trip would last as it was late in the day but it would be defiantly be pulling in during mid morning the nxt day.
"Hmmm compartment with a bed on a train for the night. SOunds romantic no?" He said looking at Ziare.
Ziare giggled and closed the door to thier compartment locking it in case someone tried the 'wrong' compartment. She sat down on the plush bed and looked around the small room. It was very small two seats flanked a small table just big enough for two to eat on a small wardrobe for a longer train ride if need be. And one door leading to a small bathroom. Though their bags had been taken Ziare had kept something in her large shoulder bag and brought it to the room.
"I have to use the restroom I'll be right back." she said with a wink leaving Jyo alone in the room.
Jyo raised an eyebrow but smiled still. he took off his coat putting it on a hanger and then went to go sit on the bed. He looked around the room. It was a very comfy room. He knew they would enjoy the time they had on the train this time around.
He looked out the window for a bit while waiting for Ziare o get back out. The view was wonderful as the train sped along and the fields and mountains passed quickly.
Ziare opened her bag and took out the new summoner's outfit she had been fitted with at the academy. She had asked about official robes and had been provided though robe was not the actual word she would have used to describe her summoner's robe. She took out the transparent and white outfit laying it on the counter as she undressed. She slipped the top on easily feeling the sheer fabric cascading down her body and she pulled the skirt on. It truly was a beautiful set of robes but left very little to the imagination. She had not told Jyo about the robes but had planned to show him here. Running her brush through her hair just for good measure and opened the door. She cleared her voice as she stepped through blushing madly.
Jyo turned hearing the door open and Ziare clearing her voice. he was about to speak when he tehn saw what she was wearing. Or almost lack there of. But she still managed to wear it in such a beautiful way he was speechless for several minutes. She looked so radient. he got up and looked her up and down.
"Stunning Ziare. Abosolutly stunning." he said softly.
Ziare blushed under his scrutiny and played with her bracelet again.
"They are my summoning robes." she said shyly. "I just picked them up yesterday."
She was blushing madly something she hadn't done since meeting Jyo but for some reason right now and his reaction had made her blush. She couldn't look at him she stared at the floor before walking over.
"I'm glad you like them." she whispered unable to bring her voice up to full volume.
