They soon finished breakfest and Jyo insisted on heling to at least pick up after dinner with her. After they were done they headed outside. Jyo then spoke to Ember
"Come on out buddy. Just Ziare myself her family and nice open area." He said to Ember. The flmes surounded Jyo and then converged on one spot to form the large Firewolf. "Jyo. Lady Ziare. It is a pleasure to see you both again in the outside world. How do you fare this day?" He asked with that hint in his tone that he had a smile.

Ziare smiled at Ember's words.
"Lady Ziare huh? How sweet." she said looking up at Jyo. "I am doing quite well today thank you and yourself?"
She leaned down and scratched Ember behind his ears and then gave him a hug in greeting. She really did like this wolf.

Ember stiffend slighty as Ziare hugged him. He genuinly liked Ziare as much as he did Jyo. But he still had enough hate for humans overall it still made him uncomfortable having that be done.
"I feel no illness or sorrow. Things are good. Not to mention I am away from the city once more" Said Ember sniffing the air. he had never set foot in these lands. it was nice. He was sure there would ample prey for meals out here.
"Well shall we get going?" Jyo asked.

Ziare stood and looked at Jyo.
"Yes, lets go. I'll show you a special place so Ember can walk around a bit and then we'll go to Grandpa's for tea." she said warmly sliding her hand into Jyo's and leading him into the woods.
This time they took a different path one that led past a cave and into a small clearing that was covered with mushrooms.
"This is where my powers woke." she said indicating the clearing.

Jyo and Ember followed Ziare to the spot where she had first used her powers. Ember sniffed the air and spoke. "It must have been a powerful awakening. There is still magic in the air of this place." He said.
Jyo was silent as he looked around. "So how exactly did you powers come out for you?" He asked still looking around the clearing. Ember had told them there was still magic here. He could sense it as well.

Ziare walked to a large tree that's trunk showed it to be at least a hundred years old. She put her back to it and began to show them what had happened.
"My sister and I were here." she said pushing her back against the tree.
"The bears where there and there." she pointed over close to where Jyo was standing and one in the same spot but opposite direction.
"That cave we passed was their den they had young there as well. My sister and I came up that path they felt threatened and cornered us here. That bear..." pointing once again to Jyo.."Came at us."
"I held my hand out like this." she said showing how she held it straight forward with palm out. "And the attack never came. I opened my eyes to see the bears running and screaming in fear and Armenius standing right there." she indicated a spot between the two."

"An awakening of need. Now the heavy magic hanging in the air makes much more sense." Ember said and then he paced around the area. It was cear Ember had been around for a while and had learned alot. Jyo had never asked how old Ember really was come to think of it. he would have to do so later.
Jyo walked over to Ziare. "Must have been scary. Must have been a real shock to have found out you could do such a thing. And thats after the bears came for you." He said

"Yes, the bears were scary enough but suddenly a great red dragon is in the forest. I knew he somehow was connected to me though at the time unschooled I couldn't speak with him as I can now."
Ziare remembered her awakening very clearly.
"I wasn't sure what it was. I mean I knew he wouldn't hurt me some feeling I had. But it was scary because I didn't know magic existed. I thanked him and hoped he would leave and then he was gone. I thought maybe it had been a dream but my sister had seen the same thing."
Ziare embraced Jyo as she loved to do.
"Later on I tried calling him out and eventually got it right. I only had to say his name. It was like I had known his name all along and had only forgotten it. To say I was surprised when a palm sized dragon appeared after the monstrous one that saved me. But I understood somehow. It was strange thinking back on it."
She looked up at Jyo and squeezed him a little.

"Very interesting story to say the least. But it seems that was the best time for you to leanr about your powers. Things could have been bad if they didn't show. One thing would be the fact I would have never met you." He said with a soft smile as he returned the hug.
"So are we going to head off to grampa's now?" He asked

Ziare nodded.
"Yes, Ember can stay here if he wants or something I'm not sure about bringing him down into the town." she said. "He's likely to get shot."
Ziare said with a sad and worried look on her face.

"I'll be fine out here. I want to look around as it is. This place seems very interesting." He said and then walked away quickly to look around and get a bite to eat.
Jyo and Ziare headed into the twon. Jyo was prepeared for the odd looks every so often hoping it wouldn't be like when they had first arrived in town.

Ziare led Jyo by hand and smiled as they walked down into the town. She smiled to the people she knew but luckily Grandpa lived on the outskirts and so they didn't have to walk past too many people.
He was sitting on his front porch rocking back and forth.
"Ahh, Zi I see you kept your promise. You always were good at that." he said with a slight chuckle. "And I see you brought young Jyo here."
The old man got up and motioned for them to follow him inside. Ziare led Jyo. Inside the house was small but decorated beautifully. Antique furniture and blue cushions where everywhere silk flowers in vases and hand made lace decorated the surfaces. Grandpa led them into the kichen with was decked in red and white checker.
"Have a seat the tea is ready." he said. Ziare took her seat and smiled at Jyo. "Here we are and some cookies."

"Thank you for your hospitality." Jyo said and looked around the house. He took his seat next to Ziare and then spoke up again. "You have a very... Comfortable looking house." He said as the man served them. He gave a nod of thanks. "How long have you lived here in this house. it has such a... Sturdy feel to it for lack of a better word." he said.

Grandpa sat down smiling he had that 'story' look in his eye one of those looks Ziare loved to see.
"I built this house with my own two hands and the help of my brother. Built it right after I got married and have lived in it since then. That's about fifty years I'd estimate."
"So tell me Jyo, tell me about yourself and how you met my Ziare. She is quite a catch. Too bad I'm old." he said with a chuckle.

Jyo chuckeld at the man's last comment. he at least had a good sense of humor. And if not that then honesty. "Well the way Ziare and I met was rather amusing. We literally bumped right into eash other." he said with a smile. "I showed her around the city for the day treated her out to a meal and so forth. Things just fell in place really." He said.
