After three months of a comatose boyfriend Jyo had finally woken and Ziare couldn't have been happier. They had planned this vacation during their time together recently a place where they could just be alone and together. Three months without the love of her life had been very hard on Ziare and she hadn't left the hospital much less the academy in too long.
Ziare stood in her room packing her last few items in her bag. A tent, sunscreen, clothes, books, all manner of things she felt she needed to take with them. She wanted this vacation to be perfect. Thank God for magic. So much fit into such a small bag. She hummed softly to herself as she cinched up the bag with all the things on her side.
She put her bag over her shoulder and took one look around her room. She had already opened the window for Kal to come and go. She could take care of herself and if Ziare wanted or needed the phoenix she could call her mentally but it was unlikely. She opened the door to her dorm and stepped out locking it behind her.
Jyo's room wasn't very far at all. She walked down across the hallway and into another. A few more doors and Jyo's door was right there. She knocked and then opened the door slowly.
"Jyo? It's me." she said with a smile as she stepped into the room and smiled. She was definatly ready for this vacation. The beach was the perfect spot and camping was even better.
Jyo had been packing the last of his things when Zaire walked into his room. He turned and smiled seeing her. "Hi. I'm just getting a few more things together before we head out." He said as he put a few more things in his bag and closed it up.
"By the way have we got something set up for getting there?" He asked as he walked over and kissed her. "Because I know there's a train we can make that takes us pretty close to where we are going. And the last train ride was rather nice." he said.
Ziare stepped closer to him as he walked to her asking her a question. Yet before she could even answer he kissed her and all previous thoughts were lost for the duration their lips touched. She opened her eyes and a smile crossed her face as he mentioned the train. A blush crossed her cheeks.
Yes, indeed the last train ride had been rather fun. Jyo had gotten to see her new summoning robes and they had spent a lot of time together alone. Which was what this current vacation was all about.
"No, I really hadn't planned out our travel venue. So a train ride sounds perfect to me. I agree we did have fun on our last train ride and why not do it again." she said with a smile.
"So whenever you are ready." she said. She stepped into his arms and hugged him tightly. Since waking she had been taking every available hug and kiss from him. She hoped he didn't mind and part of her didn't care because he had been gone for three months so now he got to deal with the aftermath.
Jyo renturned the hug and smiled. "Alright then. Well let's head out to the station. It isn't far but it still is a bit of a walk." He said and then went over to grab his bag and then walked back to Zaire putting an arm around her waist. "Let's get going. Getting out of here for a whuile keeps sounding better and better." he said leading her out of the room and closeing the door and locking it behind them.
Ziare chuckled but completly agreed. She didn't have anything in this world she wanted more at this moment than to get out of the academy for a while. Spending time with Jyo was of course the main priority. They had fun the one time they went camping and so adding a beach twist to that it was going to be great.
"I agree. I'm going to go nuts if I stay here any longer. Fresh air and just us is exactly what I think will be best." she said with a smile as she leaned into Jyo gently.
"So lead the way. I don't have a clue how to get to the train station." she said with a smile.
"It's not far. The one we're looking for is at the other end of the Academy. Still is a bit of a jaunt though." He said as they started walking. Jyo wasn't much in a talkitive mood for the moment. He was content Just haveing Zaire at his side as they headed out.
About halfway there Jyo checked his watch. They still had another two hours before their train left and he was slightly hungery. "Want to pick up a small bite to eat. We have time." he said
They walked for some time in silence and truth was Ziare didn't mind. She was much too excited about being on the beach with him. She had packed her summer clothes and her swim suit. She had things to do and some bedding. Their tent to make it as comfortable as she could for them. But most of all she would have slept in a rubber raft as long as it was Jyo that was holding her as she did so.
They reached a point and Jyo checked his watch. Ziare looked up at him and listened to his question. She smiled her ice blue eyes sparkling.
"Lets do that." she said with another warm smile. "Anywhere inparticular?"
The food court was not as busy as it normally was perhaps it was early yet for the teenage population of Arcane to be worried about lunch. Chinese was what Jyo wanted and she didn't mind. She had never really eaten Chinese before and so she had no idea what the heck was on the menu.
"Order for me?" she asked looking at him hopeful. "Just.. anything I guess." she said looking back up at the menu.
Jyo went up and ordered two plates of stir fry with orange chiken and a side of egg rolls. His own personal favorite meal of this type. then also got them some drinks. He led the way to a table and set the food down and helped Zaire into her seat before takeing his own. "Well eat up. This is good stuff. You'll either love it or at least be able to stomach it." he said
Jyo ordered their food and Ziare mentally put away the name of what he ordered in case she wanted to eat more of it another time. She did like trying new things and as far as she knew she wasnt' allergic to anything. So when Jyo got their food and led her back to the table she wasn't afraid to try this.
"Allright, I'm going for like because just stomaching would be rather bad." she chuckled.
She put her napkin in her lap and took up her untensil and speared a piece of chicken and some rice and dug in. It was actually really good much to her surprise. Not that she had figured it would be bad persay but she just .. well you were always surprised by good taste.
"Very good choice." she said as she continued to eat slowly.
Ziare chuckled at Jyo and she began to eat once more. She sipped her drink. It was just good to be back to normal with Jyo and with school. Armenius was back to his jovial self and even Kal had stopped bugging her too.
"So, what made you decide on the beach?" she asked curiously. " I mean don't get me wrong I'm totally excited but still I just wanted to know."
"Well it's pretty simple to be honest." Jyo stopping frome ating for a moment. "I've always liked the beacha dn haven't been anle to go for a while even before I met you. Now I have a chance to go and wanted you to come along." he said with a smile
